Property Ratings at Watermans Crossing Apartments
The move in process was phenomenally easy. The approval process was fast and the staff kind and understanding. The guided tour of the actual apartment we moved into was perfect!
I love the neighborhood! Haven’t had a problem for now. Kaleigh helped with everything I needed to move in. I’m excited for the warm weather so I can use the amenities.
By far the WORST. ever since i moved in things have been wrong w my apartment. maintenance comes in every month for god know what. i went without a dryer for 4 months. now i finally got a dryer my washer doesn’t work. keep in mind my washer machine is peeling and missing button caps. just a mess. cars are always getting broken into. AND THEY WANNA GO UP IN RENT
Living here these past ten (10) years has been a Blessing,i enjoy this community and all it offers, i would like to point out parking for me has been an issue ,however once addressed i have'nt had any more issue( A Safety Concern) Thanks Management
This has overall been a pleasant experience. They take a little while to fix things but I do thoroughly enjoy the community, location and space.
What an amazing experience with the Waterman’s Crossing staff, both ladies were beyond helpful, very polite and kind. Hands down the best place I’ve lived so far.
Neighbors are a little nosy, and appliances are really out of date, there is also no certainty on maintenance but they eventually get it done. Other than that, it’s a decent quiet neighborhood, with plenty of shopping located.
One of the best! It was amazing time of the tour and paperwork was smooth to complete. The apartment is well spacious and very clean. Pool and weight room is very clean as well.
Leasing office staff is kind, helpful, and attentive. Our move-in process was quick and easy. Working with Arlene was fantastic—we so appreciate her hard work.
Been living here for 3 years now and I enjoy the community here. Lots of things to do around here that's within walking distance so good save on gas(thank goodness????). I like how there are events for everyone to come together and have a bit of excitement.
Great experience so far! The amenities and apartment are all super nice and clean! Move in experience was super easy and have had great communication throughout the whole process!
These people are awful in the office. I went to visit my sister for 2 weeks who lives there and they literally told my sister that she has to notify them when anyone stays longer than 3 days!! Who does that? And FYI if you move there they will inspect your apartment every month. Office and management suck! Don’t move there.
They don't even deserve the one star rating. Managment sucks! I have lived there for nearly 7 years and never had issues. I am quiet, clean and pay the rent on time. They have maintenance come to "change the vents" (which they do) but it is actually a ploy to spy on you and they report to the manager about you. For instance, I pet sit sometimes, and now I am being told I have to give the documentation of every pet I sit and how they will be over blah blah blah. We have people with ankle bracelets living here and a halfway house across from me and they worry about a stupid pet. Last summer I spent 2 months with a broken AC unit and the maintenance guy Mike (the WORST!) told management it's bc I have too much light coming into the apartment. Mind you, I have every blind and every curtain closed and it was above 80 inside for 2 months. DO NOT MOVE HERE! Drucker and Faulk are the worst managment company ever! They should leave the tenants like me who have been there for years ALONE! They probably are tyring to get me to move out so they can renovate the apartment and get more rent for it. Hate this place.
Me & my roommate just recently moved in and it has been a nightmare. It has been a little over a month and we have had issue after issue. From lights mysteriously falling in the middle of the night due to improper installation, to plumping issues which resulted in clothes being soaked in the master bedroom closet. For what we are paying we should not see bugs, our outlets should work, the floors should not be bubbling up, the kitchen door should not being falling off, and the bathroom shower head should not just fall off. That is just a few of the issues we have experienced. Oh how could I forget about us being misquoted on fees and charges only to have them just applied to our account without any communication. We had to figure it out on our own then contact the office in regards to the charges. Move in with caution. It has come to the point we don’t even want to address anymore concerns due to the number of times we have had to address issues.
The building and complex is in perfect location to the best restaurants and shopping centers. They have a large pool, gym, volleyball, and excellent tennis courts. It's city living not in the city.
Apartment complex is safe, fairly well maintained, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Few decent apartments in the area allow large dogs, many residents here have them. No dog park or doggie bags, which I would say are the biggest negatives, carpets also tear up very easily from dog's claws. Also close to all the best areas in Newport News, 15-20 mins from shipyard
