Property Ratings at Waters Edge Apartments
The leasing agent Connie M., the leasing manager Melissa Blanton, and their supervisor Jenny Boyd are all scamming people and they refuse to give anyone the contact information of their supervisor. Do not fall for their specials. I have multiple emails from the leasing staff telling me I would be eligible for their free month of rent special. I informed via email and in person I would only apply if I got the rent special and was ensure I would get free rent. They refused to give me info until I applied, then when I was charged my first full month of rent I asked about when I would receive a free month of rent. They lied and said I wasn’t eligible. I had the emails and showed the manager Melissa and where I was told I would get the free month of rent and she said they wouldn’t honor it. After weeks of going back and forth she finally gave me her supervisor Jenny Boyd’s information, after asking for it at least 5 times. I forwarded all the emails to Jenny and told her I was already told before that I would receive the free month before applying. She told me I wouldn’t get the special and that was the end of the conversation and refuses to give me her supervisors info. The 2 times I came to tour the apartment Connie was so rude to me. That is only half of the problem. When moving in they weren’t flexible about the move in date and told me I would be charged. I moved in the closet shelves were hanging off the walls. The bathrooms still had apparatus left in it from maintenance.The heat was broken and it was in the 40s. The hot water wasn’t working. The microwave was broken and both patio doors and the front door were broken so anyone could have just bust in whenever which I’m pretty sure happened because I had multiple boxes I moved into to my apartment missing after I moved in. It took them about a month to fix any of this and I had to email and call up there almost everyday. Cars get broken into and there is glass in the parking lot. The biggest roaches I have ever seen are crawling out of the vents. The knobs to turn the water on in my shower are all about to fall off and hanging off. Do not live here. The staff is terrible and doesn’t know anything about customer service and the conditions suck. The cheap rent isn’t worth it because my bill keeps going up. They say it’s from the water but it’s 3x what I paid at my last place. Save yourself the time money and effort.

I came to tour an apartment and hoped it would look like the picture on the website. The staff was nice but the apartment shown looked like things were just poorly painted over (doors, kitchen cabinet's, outside storage) so it gave it ran down look and it did not look like the pics of the cabinets on the website. The all black appliances were nice and up to date. The stove could have been cleaned a little better. The main bathroom sink was dirty and a live roach ran from underneath the toilet seat lid and more dead roaches in the main bedroom floor. It looks like the apartment was treated for roaches but there were still more alive ones going in and out of the toilet seat which lets me know there is an infestation. If there are roaches in a vacant apartment then there are roaches in other people’s apartments too in the same unit. I’m a clean person and do not want roaches moving in my belongings. For those reasons I will not be submitting an application. Very disappointing because the location was great.

We had a good time during the tour. The apartment was nice. The rooms were large and light. The building is not brand new, but it has been refreshed. There is a highway next to the community that makes noise, but our apartment was on the other side, and it was pretty quiet there. The lady was very informative.

This place is very old, but that's not really an issue if the property is updated and well kept. It is neither of these things. The property owner put all of their money into renovating the leasing office. It's beautiful in there! The apartments on the other hand are pitiful. They mislead you into thinking you're getting a newly renovated apartment, but it's actually not. The place they tried to move me into was horrid. The appliances were raggedy. The granite countertops that they praised were old and stained. All the walls weren't painted. the floors around the toilet were soft and smelled of urine, yes urine. I had a whole list of issues after completing my walk-through. When I brought the issues to their attention, they looked at me like I was crazy. Luckily I always have an option B and C on deck. I did not move in. I learned that the hard way. ALWAYS HAVE A FALLBACK!
Please DO NOT LOOK FOR APARTMENTS OUT OF DESPERATION, it won’t end well (lesson learned)! The staff in the office do not care about anybody. The apartment complex does not provide any proper amenities for the residents! They enforce strict rules for residents and there is NO SECURITY! You NEVER see any resident use the amenities that are provided because of the rules and the lack of up keep of the amenities. You are not allowed to have anymore than just two people per apartment when using the amenities provided, such like the pool or bbq area. You have to call the office a few times until maintenance requests are attended to because the front office has better things to do?! The complex is very old and the walls are so thin so be prepared to hear everything your neighbours are saying or watching. I did not take the time to write this review out of spit or because “I have too much time” but because things NEED to change. People are suppose to enjoy where they live, it is suppose to be home not just a business. You can’t just care about filling the apartments you NEED to make sure you are providing the best living conditions for all residents. I am just disappointed with this place and would not recommend it to ANYONE until things change!

Located in the up and coming city of Sandy Springs, in Georgia, are some excellent budget-friendly apartments with many layout choices. Formally known as 'Hunter's Glenn', now known as 'Water's Edge'. From one bedroom to three bedroom, these living spaces should provide ample room for the college student or a small family. The staff and maintenance are very friendly and helpful and are there to make sure your experience at Water's Edge is the best apartment experience you'll ever need. And, as an added bonus to your lifestyle living, and living up its name, Water's Edge is located, literally, across a two lane street from the Chattahoochee River! Which includes a nature trail, picnic tables with grills, and a lodge-lounge type area. If that's not bang for your buck, I don't know what is!

I had mold in my bathroom sink for months and I called for months for them to fix it. Also, the complex change management every 3-4 weeks.
