Property Ratings at Waterside Village
My husband and I decided on Waterside Village due to their great reviews- application process was easy, and reasonably priced
Very nice place. The neighborhood is quiet at night which a wonderful having peace when you come home at night.
I moved into these apartment buildings in 2019. They’re quiet & the neighbors are nice but they are nosey. The maintenance guys are always on site. There was a garden snake at my door when I opened it one day. I seen a field mouse once in my unit. There was a time where I wasn’t in my apartment for about 3 months due to personal reasons and everytime I came back to grab clothes there were dead crickets all over. Hallways smell like cigarettes or weed. But my stay here was nice because of the quiet. hot water didn’t work some days which sucked and my AC unit malfunctioned a lot. I haven’t met the new staff , but I liked Jennifur. I had a patio and the sliding door was too stiff and never slid open. Rarely used it.
Great prices, and very quit and beautiful complex.
This apartment can't be worse! The staff is also extremely irresponsible and has no basic professionalism. Never apply!
We love the serene setting that Waterside Village offers. New management REALLY CARES ABOUT THE TENANTS and only the disgruntled tenants are the ones complaining. Some people no matter what you do for them they're still not happy... Whenever I meet Joe the new Manager, he always asks if everything is the way we like it in our unit and if not he'll have it fixed asap. He came through every time and had our whole A/C and Heating unit replaced with a brand new state of the art piece of equipment. The property is always clean and trimmed up and the common areas and laundry rooms are also always spotless. Hercules is an amazing company for the washers and dryers and with 25 working washers I no longer ever have to wait!
I moved here from Philly 2 years ago and it was decent. Then about 6 months ago we got new owners and THIS IS THE PLACE TO LIVE! They've been so accommodating and have really given the place a facelift. I had some things in my apartment that needed to get done and they fixed it all and even had my carpets professionally shampooed!!! I love the pool this year which only costs $100 for the season, its cleaned and maintained and has a lifeguard every day. Before new owners took over the pool was dirty and broken with no normal hours with a lifeguard! I love the new lights outside and they just REPAVED MY WHOLE LOT, WHICH WAS NOT EVEN IN DISREPAIR!!!
Very quick for maintenance to come and fix whatever you need and get the job done right, very kind maintenance guys.
I'm writing this review because I would like to express my appreciation for the new management. I had stopped in the office to pay my rent and they mentioned that someone had left them a bad review on this website and they were very bothered since they strive to accommodate their residents and that it must be a mistake. Well I agree that it must be a mistake since I've been here close to 20 years and the new management goes above and beyond any prior management. I had many issues with my unit over the years just from neglect and from not maintaining the systems properly. Well they came in and gave me a whole new HVAC system and replaced my toilet. They also shampooed my carpets and cleaned up my hallway. This was from one phone call to the office and all the work was done without any delays. I just felt it was my duty to thank them and show them the respect they deserve.
I chose Laura’s Glen because all appliances and flooring is upgraded and the office manager made application and lease signing fast and easy. They are children and pet friendly but is a nice quiet community to live in. I highly recommend Laura’s Glen.
Property Manager at Waterside Village, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your kind words! We strive to give our clients 100%! We look forward to seeing you at the egg hunt!
We just moved in to the complex and must say its been a breeze. This apartment complex has been outstanding in every way. The amenities and the team response to any problems has been always handled in a timely fashion. I would highly recommended.
I recently moved to Laura's glen. It's very quiet here and my neighbors are really nice in my building. The staff were very accomadating and helpful. I would recommend this complex and I am enjoying my stay so far! Thank you!
We are current residents. The rent is low, and there is a reason for that. The maintenance is poor, if not non existent. The carpet strip has been missing between the kitchen and dining room since the first month we moved in. We are currently with out an oven for almost one month. Paint is peeling from the HVAC duct in the bedroom. The entrance door, and the sliding door to the balcony, do not seal properly. The A/C is weak. When we talked to the maintenance employees, they said they would be back to fix these issues. Then they don't show up. We put in a work order at the office, and nothing has been done. I am a facilities maintenance worker, by trade. The excuses I get for why things have. Or been fixed yet are ridiculous. They claim that they can not obtain the parts to fix the broken items, when they are readily available at most home repair stores. The property has been sold to a new owner, before the sale the office staff had been rather unprofessional, and things have not changed since the sale. Bottom line, our experience here has been horrible, I wouldn't recommend renting here.
