Property Ratings at Waterstone
Easily one of the worst places I've ever lived. Something is always broken, management is HORRIBLE. Honestly I could get past everything else that goes wrong here every day if management weren't so horrible or at the very least willing to have civil conversations with people about the numerous issues at this complex. Good luck getting a hold of someone because they'll take forever to respond. If you god forbid have a complaint about one of the many issues here they'll get mad that you complain because god forbid you want things to actually work the way that they're supposed to. Even if you ask questions. Whatever money you think you're saving by living here is not worth the headache of actually living here. The few good review they have must be from bots because everyone I talk to hates managment but stays for the price. People will steal your things and "security" is a joke. There was one person in the front office who was a dream to work with Katlyn. I miss her every day.
MGMT is unprofessional and rude. Area is full of crime and drugs. Also lots of crime inside the complex
I had a leak in my bathroom. I reported it and eventually my entire bathroom ceiling was removed, and remained so for nearly 2 weeks. There was not so much as an email from the office to inform me of the repair plans. Since the ceiling was replaced, i have emailed the office twice to demand compensation for my inconvenience and destruction of some of my bathroom contents. My first email did not get a response. The 2nd email did, and a phone call was set up to more completely discuss my concerns. That phone call never occurred. Repairs take days to weeks to get done. Management does not return calls and visits to their office find the doors closed and locked during posted office hours. On the occasion you catch someone in the office, they are apathetic to any complaint. Trash piles up and over the receptacles, furniture is left all around the trash receptacles for days, gate locks are often broken. Also, security codes are installed or changed without notifying the tenants of the changes. I will be reporting this facility to the Department of Health and Safety to ensure that the "maintenance requirements" they post will be happening are actually being done, because there is no evidence that anyone has looked at whether my apartment is up to code, much less repaired things i have notified the office about.
Well I can’t say much for the management they are not residential friendly. I had a problem for a whole year of this noise coming from my apartment through the walls it took them a year to fix it because they just dident care it’s roach invested as well . They did upgrade but believe me what they are charging for rent you can find a newer apt complex that has so much more these are old with just a over coat the parking is so bad no guest parking out on the street or inside and trying to get out in the morning or afternoon with the high school is a battle I wouldent recommend Waterstone to anyone
The apartment complex is very neat, calm and friendly. Management is helpful and maintenance is on site and promptly but need to improve security to access the complex. Community areas are large and well maintained, with some nice garden areas, pool and BBQ. third floor units have high ceilings... hard to find in other places... making those units very spacious and comfy.
Waterstone Apartment homes are the best! The management responds to maintenance requests timely and the building is quiet and serene. The location is great as I am close to malls and everything I need. Although there are a lot of units here, it's quiet and safe. Frequently, there are residents outside at night walking dogs or just walking for recreation. No place is absolutely perfect but whenever I've had a problem, management responded promptly. What are you waiting for? Move on in!
I've lived in a 2nd story apartment at Waterstone Apartments in Chatsworth for several years. My apartment has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances (stove, fridge, and microwave) and a colorful paintjob. The carpet was new when I moved in and is incredibly thin, but I've gotten used to it. The apartment complex itself is beautiful and well maintained. The interior is full of tree and a little fake river runs through everything. Everyone living here is nice, and the neighborhood is the quietest you could ever get. The amenities are also really nice, including a swimming pool, tennis courts, pool tables, grills, and a fireplace. One downside is the complex borders a high school. So if you have an apartment on that side, you'll have to deal with the sound of the school bells and PA system during the day. Also there's a lot of in the morning and afternoon with all the parents driving to the school. I'd say this is probably the worst aspect of living in this apartment complex, because it adds a good 20 minutes to my commute in the morning just getting past all of the minivans and school kids who don't know how to use a crosswalk. Lastly... the leasing office staff. I've seen several employees come and go, but none have impressed me. I don't have anything large mailed to my apartment anymore, because packages go to the leasing office and are frequently lost. There was a period of time I was told I couldn't park in my parking spot for a month because of maintainence... only to see someone else was parking in it while I parked on the street. The leasing office wouldn't do anything about it. One terrible time I woke up to loud noises on my balcony... only to open my blinds and see a ladder and people moving my chairs around! Turns out the leasing office forgot to tell me they were repainting the balconies. So if you want a nice apartment in a nice complex in a nice neighborhood, and you don't mind dealing with the nearby high school or boneheaded staff, then I recommend Waterstone.
This apartment is a good deal for a couple just starting out. Price for a one bedroom, one bath is around $1,350. Comes with pretty standard gym (open 8am-10pm), pool, jacuzzi, gated parking area, and gated complex. In addition, the apartment is in a pretty good location (next to a school, close to the mall, and plenty of shopping centers and restaurants within a few blocks). Each apartment comes with one parking spot. Also, apartment is pet-friendly. The laundry is a community laundry, and there is one in each of the four buildings. Not sure what else you'd want. Management is running tours of the complex everyday, so swing by and see if this is for you!
I have lived at water stone for exactly one year now. I couldn't be happier. I live less than 7 miles from work. I live in a gated complex with covered carports. We have an amazing community atmosphere here. People socializing at the pool, grilling out on the provided grills. Gorgeous walkways I take my two dogs around looking at the beautiful trees and fountains. What a wonderful start to my new married life in California!!!!
