Property Ratings at The Park at New Castle
I’ve been in my apartment for 5 months . My apartment has a water/leak problem every week. I’ve been killing bugs and spiders since I’ve been here. My bath tubs are peeling . I’ve been calling maintenance and they come out and fix some things . When they do the fix it just enough to get by a couple weeks , then it’s back messed up. The property don’t keep outside clean. Gutters full of everything. Too many stray animals and Ducks everywhere. The office people never answer the phone and when they do they never know what they’re talking about. Little to no storage space. Bedrooms have no built in lights. Please try to find better!!!!
Don't move here, fake news, you will never use the pool or gym, the maintenance is terrible, many of the things that were ruined I had to fix, they don't answer the phone and they don't answer emails, my air has a problem it doesn't cool down well and they never fix it, these apartments are rubbish, where i live the lake is full of trash , and now they are stealing here, 5 were arrested here in the apartments for car theft, ugly, dirty and unsafe apartment
If I could have rated lower, I would have. I have lived here for nearly two years, unfortunately. A testament to maintenance: My bathtub broke in October of 2021. It caused a cut on me, which spurred me visiting the maintenance office to get it repaired. They came out and poured resin into the bottom of my tub, which held for a while. Until it started peeling. This began the SIX MONTH battle with management and maintenance to repair the bathtub. Management: I reached out when I lost my job the first and second time, trying to make a payment arrangement. I was told by Jamie to apply for rental assistance to help through extenuating circumstances. Little to my surprise, I have since then been notified that they do not accept rental assistance. TLDR: Maintenance will not fix it. Management does not care. Look somewhere else, please!
New renter here, the negligence and unproffesional conduct of the staff cannot be overstated. Brief backround, applied and was accepted via online application with no issues well in advance of my current lease expiring. Aside from automated messages I was completely ghosted on any attempt on getting an actual walk-through of my unit but no immediate flags owing to covid19 I thought. Come the start of my lease I leave work early (as theu are not open on the weekends) to pick up my keys and go about planning my move. I get there and the office has around 12 people milling about, and theyve somehow managed to lose my lease information (despite the fact that I quite literally had it on hand) and go on doing a paper application. Fine. Whatever. Well no, they botched a data migration and all access to any digital lease information is unavailable so I get ANOTHER credit pull on my record as we restart the process. Without access to their systems I had to resend all information to AN EMPLOYEES GMAIL ACCOUNT. Highly suspect but if it gets me my key I comply. My new lease starts a week later but lo and behold I have been completely ghosted. Now I have to arrange for a hasty change of plans, and eat a ton of mover cancellation fees and application fees. Stay far away. half the "security gates" advertised are broken and open to the public, and the complete incompetence demonstrated lends me the belief that the current management firm does not have the capacity to answer and attend for the needs of their residents. I cannot fathom as to where all the profits go with an otherwise wonderful property falls into disrepair and mismanagment.
