The City of Orange is a historic and largely residential community in the suburbs outside of Newark, roughly fifteen miles from Manhattan. The thriving Main Street district is packed with shops and restaurants of every kind, making life easy whether you’re running errands or just looking for a quick bite to eat.
With multiple NJ Transit stops in town, it’s easy to get around the area without a car—this combined with the abundance of affordable apartments and condos makes Orange a highly popular home base for New York-area commuters. While close to the big city, living in Orange will also allow you to take advantage of the huge nearby nature preserves, such as the South Mountain and Eagle Rock Reservations.

Property Ratings at Lincoln Gardens
Lived here for almost 6 years and moved out in 2019. I think about going back cause it was a friendly community and small, so it felt like the management company really cared for you as an individual and not just another check coming in every month. I know they are renovating units as people move out and they look great, along with the hallways and new intercom system (I visited since I moved out)! Safe parking lot for a super low price (efficient snow removal in the winter FYI), short walk to the train if needed, and everyone that works for the building that I dealt with was extremely accommodating, nice and prompt! Also, you CANNOT beat the closet space in the 1 and 2 BRs, goodness I wish I had that now! I would recommend...
I have loved living at this property the past 2 years! Doug the super is the best! He is super responsive and friendly. This was a great first time rental experience for me. I highly recommend if you are looking for a nice, affordable apartment!
I have lived here for 5 years and it's been a great place. The location is excellent for commuting, the management is attentive and quick to respond, the area is safe and diverse. I travel occasionally and I had no worries while I was gone, Someone was always there to keep an eye out. The other residents are kind and respectful, I didn't have a single issue in all 5 years. I was lucky to find such a great, affordable, charming home.
Every other thing is good about this apartment but its too expensive same building beside this apartment is more cheaper
