Beautiful property. Apartments are loud, I could hear everything my upstairs neighbor was doing. When he walked it was excessively loud. I even asked about the noise from neighboring apartments when I viewed the apartment and I was told they were very quiet. My fridge broke 3 times in a one year lease. Spoiling my food two of the times. Fortunately I was almost fully moved out the 3rd time. Dryer never worked since I moved in. I was told to decrease the size of my laundry load, but even when I dried two towels at a time they were still damp after two cycles. Also during the pandemic they continued to charge $125 amenity fee monthly for amenities that were no longer available. I just got my security deposit back $250 dollars less, I was told I never paid the initial pet deposit which I know isn’t true. They attempted to charge me $300 for finding my dog’s droppings one time in my lease in December but they let the clean up bags sit empty for weeks with overflowing garbages. I called them out on it so I’m sure this is their petty attempt at getting their money. I would not recommend spending the money they are asking for this complex.

The complex and facilities are nice enough, but aside from lawn maintenance, which happens weekly, the general upkeep is lackluster. Anything that can't be maintained with a lawnmower is neglected for weeks if not months at a time. The apartments themselves are nice enough, but god forbid anything breaks. We've had numerous issues with the laundry machine and work orders are left on read for weeks at a time, upwards to over a month. We've actually had a few work orders marked as complete despite no one actually coming to fix the problem. The clubhouse is nice and has decent facilities, but are often overcrowded. Lots of kids running around and it seems absolutely nobody picks up after their pets. They also just installed new smart thermostats and door locks. The doors can now be opened with your phone and a passcode, which while cool, seems to me would actually be easier to theoretically break into tham jist sticking with an analog bolt lock. But hey, changing your thermostat settings with your phone is pretty neat. Overall, it's fine, especially with roommates to cushion the rent (prices have risen a good deal since the buyout. I would personally not move in with their current price points) but if you're looking for actual "luxury" living, you can probably do better.

I have been a resident at Ascent for several months now and has seen much change due to owner transition a few months back. I can honestly say management has gone above and beyond for everyone the best way possible. I did notice the prior staff had twice the amount employees on site which has played in a role in the frequency of how fast things are done around here. Especially with the resources allotted to them. At first I thought they were not good until spoke with the office and gained understanding on why things were delayed. The potholes everyone is talking about are not that big and management is already doing what take to fix is it. Every time i leave my home things are always salted. Since i have lived at Ascent, I have submitted one service request and it was resolved within 48 hours. Management and ownership are separate. The staff is awesome! I have no complaints.

Pot holes in parking lot, ceiling leaks, no salt and neighbors have been falling and hurting themselves, no complaint ever gets handled properly. New management is just not good.

We have not had anyone report an injury due to a slip /fall in the parking lot; our community is salted when snow/precipitation is over 2” and all salting is done in-house. We sent out an email reminder to all our residents that includes this information and advised in the email reminder that residents are encouraged to notify us if additional salting is needed in any area. We do encourage residents to exercise caution, and if a slip/fall does occur, report it immediately to our team so we may file an incident report. We hope sharing this information has helped. This property was recently sold by NRP to an investment company who has brought in Village Green to manage the property. While NRP stopped maintaining the grounds about two months prior to the sale there has been little improvement after the new management company took over about two months ago. If you take a tour be sure to walk the entire property. They’ve only mulched the front of the property, several tees/shrubs are either missing or dead, there are three growing sink holes in the parking lot, two of three of the treadmills are broken, the vacuum in the car wash center isn’t working and there are lights out in the apartment corridors. There are definitely nicer complexes nearby that have better amenities at the same price point.

The treadmill maintenance was completed within 72 hours of issues being reported, and our community has been mulched, with the dead shrubs to be corrected with the next phase of landscaping. We’re also happy to report the asphalt is scheduled for repair as well, and the vacuum hose at the carwash has also been replaced. Our community lights are also being audited for LED bulb replacement, which will greatly improve the community lighting and energy efficiency. This place is along with the staff, the dog park and the walking trails ....oh wait, there aren't any :) Overpriced for the luxury living they tell you, I mean sell you.

The apartment complex is a true luxury apartment complex. Beautiful pool, state of the art work out room, and spacious clubhouse. The apartment has stunning granite countertops in the kitchen and spacious living/dinning area. The bedrooms are large with walk in closets Both bathroom are huge with double sinks in the master bath. Love love this apartment. This is the best place for my family.

The area and location of this apartment is great ! Convenient to Pittsburgh (25 min no traffic ) the amenities are great, apartments are good sized. Located in a great school district . However, the place is brand new and could either use another pool for all the residents or a bigger pool . Once all the apartments are full you may be fighting for spots on the weekend .
