Property Ratings at Welcome to Dawson Village – Welcome Home!
Front office does their jobs well. If the community abides by the standards set forth in the lease it would be even better. Maintenance is always fast and efficient and we have never had any bugs other than the occasional spider. The location is very convenient and our church is in walking distance from our apartment. We feel safe at Dawson village and will continue to rent here.
Pests: The first day I moved into my unit there were roaches in my kitchen. They have pest control every month but that does not help. There are large holes under the sinks which allow mice and much more into the unit. When I left I had to throw away multiple pairs of shoes that mice had pooped in without my knowledge. Inconvenience: They schedule the lawn care company for 9 am on Saturday mornings so if you plan on sleeping past 9 on a Saturday you won't be able to. The laundry room is gross. All of the laundry and dryers have a dirty smell to them and the laundry room itself is dirty. Office Staff: The two women in the office are rude. They will yell at you on the phone and they also threatened me with charges to my account upon leaving. Charges: They charge $60 an hour for PATCHED holes. They charge $50 for blinds that they need to replace anyways because they are now considered a safety hazard and are not sold in stores. They charge $20 per item in the unit that is not cleaned to their standard once you move out. I had my mom come help me clean the unit and they said the sink and toilet were dirty and I was charged $20 a pop for items I had cleaned. The only good thing I would say is that the maintenance will do their job. Other than that the units are poorly maintained, the office staff is mean, and there are PESTS!

My apartment at Dawson was one of my favorites!! Yes it's an older community but it's got so much charm. You can't beat the price for what you get. Living in a flat I never had to deal with anyone over or under me. The maintenance staff are responsive and knowledgeable and the office staff take good care of the tenants!!!
This apartment has a great deal on a 2 bedroom! Maintenance is quick, front office people are nice, and this is a good neighborhood. 10/10 recommend
I have lived at dawson village for 7 years and i love it here the maintenance guys r awesome and the leasing office employees are so amazing and amber is just so amazing at what she does and does her job very very well amazing lady
I have lived here for about 5 months and have found the place to be great. Whenever I have had a concern it has been addressed and taken care of quickly. The rent is fair, and the management friendly and efficient. I have told friends about he place and they are considering putting in an app as soon as their lease is up. Its all good.
