What began as a resort getaway for the Low Country elite in the 19th century has blossomed into a thriving community on the outer edge of the Charleston area. Countless buildings in town have been added to the National Register of Historic Places, so the local architecture definitely contributes to the charming atmosphere.
The town has experienced massive growth since the 1980s, meaning many of the apartments and homes are fairly new, and the cost of living is very affordable compared to many places closer to the city. Definitely edited the heck out of the pics: the inside of the leasing office looks just like the pics. Everything else? Not so much. They spent more money on the leasing office. Instead of revamping the apartments.

It’s really quiet you don’t hear much but I’ve noticed a few break-ins lately. My vehicle being one of them only thing they took was a Mountain Dew and a monster but other than that it’s a pretty quiet area.

My family and I moved in at the beginning of June. We have had nothing but good experiences since we came here. The maintenance crew is amazing and extremely fast at responding when they are needed. The grounds are kept up very well and the staff are very helpful and do not hesitate to help in the areas they can.
Nice place to live and always clean, if people could just pickup after there animals it would be a great place to live, and playground could use a upgrade

The community so far is great, people are friendly while some mind their own business. Depending on the neighbors you have around you depends on how much noise you can hear through the walls. Light switches are lighting fixtures can be in weird spots, but noise cancellation is fairly decent. Overall, it's a great place to live!

I have lived in Wellington Apartments for about 12 years and there are several things I rally like about the place. It is out of the flooding plain and it is very quiet and until very recently, crime has not been a problem. The office staff is very easy to work with.

The staff are amazing!! Every time I have an issue they quickly help resolve it and also I love the fact that they respect your privacy!! Example I had just moved in and the internet company came but I was at work, they called me personally to verify that it was okay to let them in and they locked my door back once they were done!!
