Property Ratings at Wellington Way Apartments
I live here and their is mold in the air conditioning unit and they dont fix anything
I lived at this apartment from Nov19-Jan21. They have yet to give me my deposit back. Various issues with the apartment from day one. No issues were fixed and they continue to ignore my calls due to them not wanting to give me my deposit back. Stay Away!!!
Dingy, not well lit. Apartments sit on top of a 6' crawl space that fills up with water. 2-12" of water to be exact bringing mold and mildew issues. Never ending smell of mold and mildew. Plumbing is a nightmare. Plastic plumbing that comes loose periodically when the cold weather his. It has been and ongoing battle with animals. The people here attract zillions of skunks, stray cats, and raccoons nightly by laying out food for them. Maintenance people are overwhelmed daily with maintenance calls and cannot keep up. There is no full time office manager since the last one quit a year ago. If you have trouble with a neighbor...tough luck. Tell it to someone else because the acting office managers are all talk. They are good at lip service. They will simply tell you to move. The rent is not cheap for all that you get. Most apartments look the same since the building was built. The parking lot has pot-holes littered all over the lot with 3 catch basins caving in. Save your money and look elsewhere. You can do so so so much better.
I have lived at Wellington Way for about a year now and love my apartment, location to both shopping/restaurants and the 270 access ramp along with my large laundry room and pull down attic for extra storage. The neighborhood is nice and mostly well kept. No noise issues or pet issues with residents who have pets. Over all a very nice community.
I lived here for 6 years; and thought it was a very good deal (compared to costs, location, what there is to offer) It reminded me of a campsite (which I love) I saw an owl, opossum-baby, rabbit, birds etc. Many residents were into horticulture - so you would see beautiful flowers (which they used to give you to plant yearly for free), and vegetables growing around the place. The people were friendly; and so was management. It was great then; and I miss it.
I just renewed my lease for a second year here at Wellington Way. Very small, quiet community. The property manager and maintenance have been very easy to deal with and have made it a great place to live. I've only had a couple maintenance requests, but each time they were out to fix it within a day. I also really like its convenience to Easton (where I work) and the highway. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone
Moved in to broken window, bedroom window sealed shut. Had an oven that was older than the Brady Bunch oven. Owen's heating element was broken and started a fire which thankfully I saw all the smoke right away. The apartment had a bad case of ROACHES!!! there were many more problems but I'm getting upset all over again just typing this so I'll stop here. I do have pics and video, it was the worst.
Its only a studio but it works. the owners and staff are nice. if something is broke they get to it fairly fast.
If you looking for a comfy place to live then this just may be your place. Its just minutes from Gahanna a quaint suburb of Columbus, which gives you access to all the amenities you need. One and two BR's are avail. with reasonable rent in a quiet neighborhood. Good for single professionals and small families.
