This was an unfortunate situation. I'm selling my home and wanted to find an apartment in advance. The price was just right as long as I completed all the paperwork and fees within 48 hours. I wouldn't be able to move in for at least 2 months but I wanted to lock in the price and they said they would hold the apartment. I was still two months away and they contacted me about signing the lease which confused me since I wasn't even close to moving. They gave me an that they required me to sign the lease early or they would have to offer the apartment to someone else. I also asked if I would be subject to all the fees if I chose not to move in or if the process took longer to sell my home and they said yes. Even if I never st foot in the apartment. This is ridiculous. They also kept the $250 admin fee. I would not trust this property. It seems like they are after as many admin fees and broken promises.

Hi Brian. Unfortunately, without a signed lease agreement, we cannot reserve your preferred apartment when other people are willing to sign for the same space. We are not breaking any promises and are very transparent about the entire process. We do not refund the application fee or reservation fee if someone cancels after 72 hours after the initial application. Please contact our leasing office to help clear up any incomplete communication.
Moved in this week and am very happy with how the application process worked. I was lucky enough to work with Maddie who made the whole experience very easy. Ashley was also helpful in times when Maddie wasn’t available. Excited for the upcoming year at Wellsley Park.

I was charged $558 (on top of my security deposit)during my move out. My security deposit was used for sewage/trash fees instead of including those fees in my last rent check. I used a professional carpet cleaner and was accused of having pet urine (even in places that furniture was located)... Additionally I was charged $105 cleaning fee and that was absolutely bogus. I was ripped off. My air conditioning didn’t work for 7 months even after submitting 3 maintenance requests. At one point my apartment was 56 degrees and I was told the unit would be fixed when it was “nicer out.” This didn’t happen until I called multiple times when it got so hot out that my apartment was 87 degrees. I would never recommend this apartment.

Car was broken into in property's gated community (gate has been broken for 2 months). Management has denied a request to release me from my lease. Great place to live if you don't value security.

Don't trust the good reviews...they give you a discount if you write a nice review.. Was charged to replace all the carpet in the apartment (approx $600) and a $510 cleaning fee at move out? Waste your money somewhere else..

I've lived at Wellsley Park for about a month now and couldn't be happier! The apartment is SO spacious with both a linen closet and a pantry, and the best part, a HUGE walk-in closet. I love the kitchen island/bar, and the granite countertops are an added bonus. The complex is very much a dog-friendly community and we've met several neighbors and their pooches. Would highly recommend Wellsley Park!!!!!
I've lived at Wellsley Park for two months now and couldn't be happier. It literally has everything you need and everything is so convenient. The office staff and maintenance team are very helpful and they're available anytime you need something. The apartments themselves are very spacious, have high ceilings and new appliances. It's also great to live in an area with so much to offer! (Mall, movie theater, restaurants, bars only 15 minutes from downtown Knoxville)

I really like the apartment but have been annoyed with the mainetence. There is constant noise during the day. They have flooded several apartments, and I keep dreading if they might come to my apartment next. I don't like that someone can just come to your apartment anytime just to do "mainetence" for months now that you didn't request.
This is a great complex for young couples who are not quite ready to be home-owners yet want that upscale, homey feeling. My husband and I especially love that it's a gated complex and has trash pickup on most nights. Wellsley feels fresh and well-kept with the beautiful clubhouse, pool, gym, and grounds. The location is convenient to everything in Knoxville, especially local shopping and restaurants. The office staff has always responded promptly to any calls or emails. Overall, it's worth every penny!
Very convenient to downtown and the University. Plenty of good restaurants and shopping nearby. The complex is new with well-maintained grounds. Office and maintenance staff are very responsive and friendly. Overall, it’s just a great place to live! I''ve lived in several different apartments around town. All things considered, this is by far the best I've been in. The location couldn't be more perfect, no more than 10-15 minutes from every part of town. The apartments are very updated, high ceilings, and everything is of great quality. The staff is very helpful, friendly, attentive, and always respond to your needs quickly. Couldn't be happier living here.
I have lived here for approx 1.5 years now, and I have absolutely loved it. I went to school at the University of Tennessee, and was looking for a quiet, safe place to live after graduating. Wellsley Park done that and more, completely exceeding my expectations. It is centrally-located, right next to shopping and grocery stores, and you would never know it with the atmosphere. It is quiet, with high quality buildings (you very rarely hear your neighbors around you) and amenities. The other thing I love is that they are very dog friendly. I would absolutely recommend living here to anyone looking for a place in Knoxville!
While the complex's central location is a good enough reason to simply consider moving there, Wellsley Park has much more to offer. I've lived in my unit for close to two years. I've never had any major issues, and any help I've needed has always been promptly provided by the friendly front-office staff and the maintenance team. The amenities are terrific, too. In the spring and summer, I use the pool. In the fall, I use the fire pit. In the winter, I use the on-site gym in place of running outside. Wellsley Park has been and continues to be a great place for me to live, and I recommend it to anyone already living in or moving to Knoxville.
I just moved to Wellsley in May and I absolutely love living here. The apartment complex is very green and spacious. There is a dog park right next to my building, which is great. The staff are so friendly and helpful whenever I have questions. The apartment itself is very bright with great floors and great closet space. I cannot recommend living here enough!
We recently moved here in early summer and we absolutely love the complex and the people that live here. Maintenance is very quick when you put in requests and they keep a beautiful landscaped apartment complex. We are very happy we decided to live here with all the great amenities!
Luxury apartments in a perfect location. The staff have always been more than helpful and friendly while assisting me in my move in process. Maintenance is quick and efficient on their visits. Clean and quiet environment with respectable residents. Can’t beat the quality of the of the apartments either!
I moved to Wellsley Park based on the appearance that the complex was a safe, upscale community. After living there for only two months, our brand new vehicle was stolen from the gated community. After having issues with our garage one Saturday, one of the maintenance men adivsed us to not leave our vehicles in the garage until he could fix the lock on Monday. The theft occurred that Sunday evening. We received no assistance from the complex regarding the theft. The property manager would not advise the residents of the theft or assist us with obtaining the video from the property surveillance. What you pay for in rent does not include property security or protection of your property. I would not want anyone to go through what we did as residents. As far as other factors, the apartments all have the hardwood flooring and if live below someone, it is constant noise. Parking is limited for those who do not have a garage.They are poorly constructed, but it is "hidden" with cosmetic factors. For the price you pay in rent, you can find an upscale home or secured property for rent.

I have lived here a few months now and I love it here. The apartments are nice as well as the amenities. I have even met a few of my fellow neighbors which has been nice. The staff is super friendly and helpful, they even went over and beyond to help me get the exact apartment I was looking for initially. Would recommend.
We love it here!! I took a job offer from my company I used to work for and they offered to relocate me from Albuquerque, New Mexico and pay for my rent, utilities and moving expenses. So we started researching places to live within the amount my company told me. Long story short Christina in the office was who I worked with through the entire process. I came out here by myself first to train with my company and get my living situation started. When I was still in Albuquerque, I called and was told they had one or two of the 2 bed 2 bath apartments on the 2nd floor left. When I got to Knoxville and came here for the first time Christina was nothing but awesome. I left after the walk around of the apartment and grounds and went to another luxury complex 15 minutes further and immediately turned around and came back to lock down on the apartment. The location is PERFECT here. You have everything you need within 15 minutes or less. Food, mall, entertainment, etc. Then the process of paperwork began and I thought it would be difficult cause my fiance was still in Albuquerque, NM and she had to be emailed tons of paperwork from Christina, signed, faxed or scanned back. I was training 9 technicians through the training week I was here on top of making and taking tons of calls from Christina and my fiance getting everything set up. The management staff was more than willing to work with me and even helped waive one of my forms needed due to things out of my control. Then I found out I had a very small window to get back to Albuquerque and get back. I flew out on the night of June 29th, landed in Albuquerque at 1am on July 1st. Slept, got up and got my moving truck on Friday the 1st at 11am. Loaded it all day, went to sleep and got back up at 5am on the 2nd and drove 22 hours straight and got to Knoxville the morning of the 3rd. They had originally had me set to move in on the 5th and that wouldn't work so they hid my key in the complex where I knew it was and had my gate code set to activate that morning to get in since they were closed. I had the easiest move across country ever. Couldn't have been any easier.
When moving to Knoxville, I looked at several apartment complexes. Wellsley Park was 20 times nicer than all of the other ones I looked at and was the same price. I don't have to have fancy furnishings, but why pay the same amount for less. Wellsley Park apartments are very nice, and my personal favorite feature is the nice washers and dryers that come with them. The location is perfect too. You are close to everything, yet you feel tucked away when you are in the complex. It's very quiet. Everyone that works here is very friendly and the maintenance guys are great. They are very prompt and are fast to contact the correct party if your problem is related to an appliance where they have a contract with the company to fix it. I am so glad that I ended up here!
I really like living here, my son and I are very comfortable here. My home has nice high ceilings and feels very open. I have my own laundry room (comes with washer/dryer) which is a big plus. The pool area is great. I really love the location!
