Property Ratings at West Edge
I urge you to run and hide. This is not a place you ever want to live. The conditions are disgusting ALL THE TIME. The staff and company are inadequate on every level. It seems all nice and cool, close to UCCS, has a parking garage, etc. BUT NO. They will charge you for things you never agreed to be charged for in your lease. They will find anyway to sneak charges into your account and WILL overcharge you. They don't care about people that live here. It is a trap. If you want to move out early because it's a DUMP, they make it impossible and throw thousands of dollars worth of charges at you. It is a disgrace to advertise this to college students, or honestly anyone because they WILL bleed you dry wether it's when you live there, or months after you move out. In addition, there was a major flood that occurred, and it took 3 days for anyone to respond or fix anything. There was just sitting water in my apartment for days. Please avoid this place if it's not too late, you will hate your life if you make the mistake of moving in here. The office and apartment manager also won't care about anything you tell them EVER. Everything is disorganized and they just really don't care as long as they get their check (with overcharged money from you). Also ignore the advertising of amenities, it's all a lie and none of them are ever working, but don't worry you'll still have to pay for them and then some. I paid $40 every month for 7 months and I saw the garage closed maybe twice. Your car will be broken into, because for some reason the garage is always broken even after it was fixed the day before. It will never be closed, and your car will never be safe. It is a joke on every level and honestly I would never recommend this place to anyone, not my worst enemy, not a random on facebook, NO ONE SHOULD LIVE HERE EVER! I HATE WEST EDGE. IT IS A HELL HOLE.
Do not live here if you can avoid it! I moved in and my room was dirty and when I moved out they charged me for it! They will also go against your lease and over charge you for things. The building itself is very dirty too.
A cardboard box on the UCCS campus would provide better features than this place can.
This apartment complex is at all times absolutely foul and the leasing office is completely unhelpful with everything. A fellow resident at this complex quite literally defecated on the floor for 3 months and it took 3 weeks of harassing the management team to get any response at all. The police, firetruck, and ambulance are parked out front nearly every night. The parking garage is covered in cigarette butts, and cars are totaled in the parking lot every other week. We were fined $150 for an alleged "trash violation", meanwhile the hallways have been covered in dog poop, trash, and liquor since I moved in. The parking garage door has been broken for over a year straight, and all of the amenities have been closed for over two years. Whatever you do stay away from this place.

The hallways are littered with animal waste, alcohol spills, urine, and vomit. There has been no security since last year, so there are homeless individuals sleeping in the hallways and common areas during the night, and fights breaking out constantly in the hallways, as well as packages left at the front of the building easy to take. Fire alarms are often set off in the middle of the night due to the nature of the young population living in the building. The staff brushes off concerns for months, if ever addressed. The walls are thin enough to hear conversations above and below the apartment unit. Not a safe area.
