Nashville’s West End is a sprawling district filled with a mix of suburban and urban neighborhoods. The family-friendly atmosphere on this part of town is largely made up of safe residential streets and a tight-knit community. Within the West End, there are two universities: Lipscomb University and Belmont University. The college town feel is apparent in the West End, and there are great public and private schools to brag about as well.
West End’s residential streets are a mix of stately homes, longstanding homes, and upscale apartment communities. The Mall at Green Hills is the best opportunity for locals to enjoy a wide variety of retailers, and nearby, check out the Bluebird Café, an iconic live music venue. Historic mansions, museums, sites, and landmarks sit throughout West End, such as the Belmont Mansion near the university.

I have lived at West End Village for about 2 years, and love being a resident here! I feel safe 100% of the time in this building, and love how it is conveniently located walking distance away from Centennial Park. Building cleanliness + amenities are top-notch! Our 2 Bed 2 Bath apartment rarely requires maintenance and has plenty of space for two full-time students. Highly, highly recommend this property!!

I've lived at West End Village for almost 2 years now and have had such an exceptional experience! Management is super kind and helpful, the maintenance team is works extremely quickly and well, and I've found my neighbors are very considerate! The amenities at WEV are also in great condition and the apartment has made some great update to the interior and exterior of the property.
First apartment experience, and it’s been ten years. Why? Because West End Village is managed just the way I’d manage my house. Clean, thanks to an efficient housekeeper, Yvette, and maintained, thanks to a knowledgeable, responsive, professional maintenance staff, Jeb and Caleb. You won’t even have to change a lightbulb! My favorite amenity is the fitness center, which saves a club membership fee, and housekeeping ensures it is always clean and fresh. But there is also a pool, conference room, game room, and kitchen. You can have a cup of coffee all day and pick up a book to read while sunning out at the pool from the lending library. My favorite thing about WEV is the residents! There are monthly community events so you can get to know your neighbors. If you do have an issue, the management team: Erica, Manager, Natalie, Assistant Manager, or Garrielle, the Leasing Agent will handle it for you - no problem!

Lived for 3 in the complex. Watched as management declined, made terrible decisions that inconvenience tenants. Them adding Fetch as a mandatory service was the last straw.
Property Manager at West End Village, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your feedback, we understand your concerns about the management changes and about Fetch. We never want our residents to feel inconvenienced. It is always our goal to keep your best interest at heart when making decisions for the better of the community. Please come by our office if you would like to discuss this topic further and we'd be happy to accommodate you the best we can. Sincerely, Erica C., Community Manager
STAY AWAY. I cannot even begin to describe how terrible this place is. The are super rude and lazy. I’ve been trying to get my final payment in for weeks now and they’ve made it near impossible with all the restrictions of how and when you can pay it. I just want to be done and give them the money to never deal with this place again. Management is terrible. It was insanely noisy all the time and I would file complaints and they would do nothing about it (actually that’s not true they told the person I complained about my personal information so then they left it up to her to confront me which she did. I probably still have the letter somewhere from her). Another highlight of my stay was when there was a glass cup shattered in the stairwell outside my apartment for three days straight and my dog cut her foot on it because they didn’t bother to clean it until I pointed it out. The place is ridiculously expensive and not worth a penny or your sanity so save your money.
The ceilings are paper thin and the noise is horrible. When you complain nothing is done. Don't move here if you want a good nights rest.
Property Manager at West End Village, Responded To This Review
I'm so sorry to hear about your difficulty with noise in our homes, Johanna. If there's anything my team can do to improve your stay please give us a second chance and stop by the office to chat with us. I hope to hear from you soon. - Mandy Nelson, Community Manager, (615) 383-1322
The apartment's location is SUBLIME. You're literally less than a mile from all the best parts of Nashville, and it gives you a wonderful opportunity to engage in the best the community has to offer. The facilities themselves are pretty great, but there are a few things you may want to consider. Sounds transfer very easily through the walls, so it's pretty easy to hear whatever is going on with your neighbors. Response time from maintenance is generally prompt for emergency issues, but may be slower for smaller ones. You sometimes have to keep calling the office to reaffirm, but they are usually pretty prompt. There are dogs EVERYWHERE, so if this is a problem, it may not be for you. Overall, WEV is a pretty nice facility. It's convenient, clean, and well maintained. It is a touch on the expensive side, but the location is totally worth it. Take a tour; see it for yourself. :)
Right off the bat, let me say I really enjoy living here. The location is great. Rather quiet and a minute walk to Centennial Park. Downtown is a quick cab ride. Management is very good, especially Brittany at the front desk. Maintenance responds and resolves rather quickly. Now to nit pick... Walls are a bit thin. We hear the guy upstairs play guitar a lot. Good thing he's good. It's getting a bit pricey too. Overall, it's a very nice place and I do recommend it if you can afford it.
West End Village has been perfect since moving in eight months ago. It is within walking distance of HCA's corporate campus, American Centers I & II, OneCity, Vanderbilt, Belmont and Libscomb. Whether you're a working professional, student or both (like me), you'll be close to everything you have to do. When you're ready to have fun, don't worry, you're close to great restaurants, shopping and entertainment in Hillsboro Village, Midtown and Sylvan Park. Oh, and it is right on beautiful Centennial Park that always something fun going on! If you don't want to leave to have fun, you can take advantage of the on-site poker room, theater room, gym or resort-style pool. The buildings are new, beautiful and well-maintained. The management is extremely friendly and seeks to enrich the resident experience - especially Bethany, she is great! There is also a great resident culture, where you feel a safe, well-harmonized community is important to all the residents. I just got my lease renewal notice a few days ago. Although there are many other apartment complex choices in the area, my choice remains West End Village! If you're awesome and looking for an apartment, I hope we'll be neighbors soon!
