Property Ratings at West Fifth Apartments
I recently moved into this community, and it’s impeccably maintained with recent renovations giving it a fresh feel. Initially, I had an unpleasant experience at another apartment in Rancho Cucamonga and decided not to move in. That’s when I came across West Fifth. The entire process here was smooth and pleasant. I needed to move quickly, and the management accommodated me by finding a beautifully upgraded apartment and moving me in within two days. I’m incredibly thankful for their prompt and excellent service. The managers, Grace and Jenna, are delightful, and the leasing consultant, Carolina, was very helpful and courteous. I would highly recommend West Fifth to anyone – 10/10.
Greedy people that increases the rent every year. Just received another rent increase and a utility increase during the pandemic yet they shut off the water every few days and leave letters taped to your door with personal information inside so if it were to fall off the door and someone decides to read to it, they will know your information. The laundry room stays dirty with not in order machines that takes your money even though it gives you an error message and there is no warm water only cold and hot. They had a giant trash bin next to my car and damaged my car, but took no responsibility. Instead they moved the bin closer to my car leaving me no choice but to park on the street. They changed the apartment key and only issued two keys and said they don't know when they are going to get anymore keys in. Since they are not traditional keys, you can't have one made so good luck if you have a three person household.
The complex has the worst cockroach problem that I've ever seen and management is unwilling to do anything about it. After spraying didn't work we had discussed using other methods but they never followed through similar to how they didn't follow through with fixing my dishwasher until after I complained about it for over a month and demanded a discount. I've given up on trying to get anything out of them. The apartments themselves are made with zero quality. They recently assigned parking for the covered parking spots and they also prohibit parking in the uncovered spots unless you pay $30 extra a month. I don't understand this because the parking lot has never been more than half full. I don't know if they're doing this to try to get rid of the shady people around the complex or if they're trying to squeeze more money out of me. Probably both.
These are now the worst apts out there. They used to be so so but new management company does not care about tenants at all. All they care about is sucker people in and charging over the top rates for sub-par units. I have been here for years and this last year has been the worst. New company raised my rent as soon as they could and not they have increased it across the board by about $200. a month for new tenants. They have remodeled the landscaping 4 times this year bit yet my walls leak when it rains, there is mold from that. The bathroom toilet has been loose for two years. The guy that put post about new stuff must work for them. This place is a zoo with kids parking is horrible. I can't wait for my lease to be up so I can move...you have been warned by lots of people if you chose to go here. Look around and check there reviews on Yelp.. you will get and idea of what is going on... much more info there!!!!
The reviews here must be from the new management. I have lived here for 3 years now and I am leaving. New management company lets the kids run wild, they got way more people in the houses than it should have, I am sure they don't know...wink wink. The rent they are asking now is over $400.00 higher than before for same units. Parking sucks unless you live in one of the small apartments in the north west corner. Parking lot is right next to my unit and I have to park two lots away when. This is not a get what you pay for situation. They think they can raise rates just because new housing in the area is higher .. don't be fooled. If you come by to check it out be sure to come back when the kids are out of school. You have been warned.
I absolutely love my apartment. I stumbled on it by accident. It was not on my search list I just happened to drive by and stopped in. It has everything I wanted and more. Huge pool, playground, workout room, computer room, and community room. It also parallels a major city park and is 50 yards away from a Walmart. Everything I want and need is in walking distance. I may never leave this place!
I love that there is no issue here with parking!! There is no assigned parking because there is no need for it! The apartment is spacious and the management is quick at getting any technical problems fixed at a timely manner. The community is nice and so far we have not had any problems. It is located in a very convenient area, surrounded by grocery stores, fast food places and schools.
