Property Ratings at West Garden Apartments
I dnt even know where to start with this one... Move in day the apartment was dirty like food in the fridge and hair and soap in the tub. vents were missing and I got locked in my apartment for 45min during my walk through. Whole apartment needs to be updated had to wait 3wks for the dishwasher to be fixed because it's ancient and they had to find a part. The fridge is all beat up and dented and they painted it. I was promised a new one and never received it. The stove heats up to what it wants to so I can barely cook unless its fried and 2 out of 4 of the eyes on the stove work, again was promised a new one and never received it smh. The a/c never worked and I kept telling them during the summer someone finally came out once it started to leak into lower unit and come to find out there wasn't a filter in there the entire time. I could go on and on about why to not live here so Ill tell the reasons you should.... IT ISN"T ONE RUN FROM THIS PROPERTY AS FAST AS YOU CAN! They should pay us to live here can't wait to move out in the next month. YOUVE BEEN WARNED!!!!
From the undertrained maintenance staff to corporate is horrible. Literally the only thing they care about is taking your money every month. Going into detail about how bad this apartment is will only upset me. Please don’t move here. Please don’t waste your time and energy with this place. Please explore ALL options before deciding on this place. This is by far the WORST apartment I’ve ever lived in. At this point….I would much rather live in my car.
Don’t rent! even if it’s your last option !! Staff is rude, the owner is ever worse, they have no customer care. My hallway has no carpet so it looks trashy and creepy , my apartment has a weird smell that hasn’t been taken care of, the toilet barely flushes and the maintenance man said it’s because I’m one of the last apartments in the building??? Dishwasher doesn't work after only being there for 2 months, the doors on the hallway are falling off the hinges, and not to mention I had to literally go to war to even rent here!!! The process took over a month to even consider me, I should’ve took that as a red flag!
These apartments have went downhill since new management took over a year and half ago. Trash is left outside, which attracts bugs like roaches. The upkeep of the apartment is horrible and they do not care about the residents. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to move. You will regret it.
Not the same staff as 2018. The new owners refuse to give my girlfriend and I our security deposit back. We moved out in 4/2020, it's 10/2020 and they're still giving us excuses.
This place has become absolute trash. It is now owned by the Nadeer group, that owns other slum buildings in the metro Detroit area.
Staff are amazing they get things done very nice they're going to be upgrading everything
