All visitors must park on the street although 50% of the spots are open. The street is not close to most buildings. They have a contract with a tow company that comes through at all times to take your car. Move here only if you want no visitors EVER!

I lived there for 2 years. Right from the start we received a different floor plan from what we toured. We were told it was an identical unit in the next building over. When we got the keys we were very disappointed in the different layout, the living room was half the size of the unit we toured. There wasn't much we could do at that point everything was signed and we had the keys. While living there we experienced a lot of fruit flies (due to the hoarders next door) ants, and mice! The basement would leak when it rained and the carpet would stay wet for weeks so we had everything in the storage unit in bins so nothing would get ruined. Before the package lockers were built packages would get stolen all the time, it was ridiculous! But the package building seemed to fix that, however there arent enough lockers so packages were all over the floor, kinda hard to find yours. Also the walls are very thin, you can hear everything in the hallway! The one good thing was maintenance was very good and got things fixed in a timely manner.

Where do I begin? Before even moving in I had issues with this place. They promised me a ground unit, both parties signed the lease, and then a month later they said that unit actually won’t be available and I can only have a 2nd or 3rd floor unit which is not what I signed for. After going back and forth they somehow found a ground unit that was available for my move in date, and I thought everything was good. Then 20 DAYS before my move in date they call me and say we made a mistake and the unit you are moving into is remodeled so we need you to pay $150 more per month or you can’t live on the ground floor. This was so upsetting and infuriating, but I had no choice! No other apartment would have availability within 20 days and I’m sure they knew that they were pigeon holing me. The property manager said I would have brand new flooring, black countertops, new black appliances, new kitchen cabinets, and fresh paint. I sign the new lease and move in day comes- keep in mind I haven’t seen my physical unit yet because they were “still renovating it.” Here’s a list of everything wrong when I moved in 3 weeks ago that STILL has to be addressed: 2nd bedroom has no screen on the window, missing trim and baseboards everywhere, smoke detector dysfunctional, paint splattered on the floors, chunks of the floor missing, kitchen sink/faucet is super loose, hot water wasn’t even turned on under the sink, dishwasher doesn’t work. I have addressed all of these issues with the property manager, and told her my kitchen countertops are not renovated as promised (they’re very old, with burn marks all over them) and my bathroom vanity is not new either. She assured me everything would be taken care of and they would measure my counters to complete the renovation. Still waiting on these issues to be addressed after 3 weeks AND came home from work to kitchen sewage all over my floor because the drains were so backed up. I wish I would have never moved here!!

Lived here for about a year. Moved in with so many issues( ex: mold in dish, refrigerator didnt work, the spare room was not even cleaned a bit and it has rust stains on them, needed new washer and dryer, drawers were falling about, and they did fix 90 % and did give us 50 off out next month rent). Then during COVID our dryer went out and we were told that it may get fix or may not because of COVID. After many emails they told us that it was fixed when we first asked them to fix it but here wasnt a work order or any notice that any one came in. The communication just is horrible with the office.I hardly has guests over because parking is strict there.They have parking for guests but non were even close to my building so I didnt bother having anyone spend the night because they would be towed. The pot holes were insane and they took care of them as I was moving out. I could say more but this is enough I think. I its no the worst place to live but I would not go back at all ever.

I applied for a unit online. Completing the application required agreeing to a withdrawal of the $25 application fee plus a $500 deposit. The transaction was taken from my bank account immediately. I never signed a lease for there to be a need to take the deposit from my account. A week after applying, I still had not heard from the office about my application. In that time, I found another apartment to rent. When I called to inform them that I would no longer be needing the unit I applied for and would like the deposit refunded, the woman on the phone agreed that the $500 would be refunded and I should expect a check in the mail by the end of the week. It was Tuesday. That week a refund never came. Nor did it come the following week. I called the office 3 different times that week and left messages. No one returned my calls to explain why I had not received my refund. I had no problem getting through to the office before I requested the refund. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY! DO NOT GET INVOLVED!

the staff here is really nice here i can go down and talk to them and that is cool. so its nice here. i used to live here when i was younger and learned how to ride my on the fire lane. i guess that is all i can say.

I have been here for a year and have had to deal with roaches and a number of nice and numerous things falling apart. The biggest thing though has to be the tow company that the apartment complex has contracted with. I have had the correct credentials on my vehicles and have had a extremely bad altercation with J&J towing. They towed my vehicle speeding through waukesha and owner tried running me off the road. Second incident happened friday my car got towed because of a flat tire. But seeing how my put new tires on my car last week that seemed far fetched. I got home around 8 and my car got towed at 10. Because of how our first altercation ended the tow company let the air out. And seeing how my tire is still holding air gives me more reason leave. I had to pay 330 dollars to get my car back because of a flat tire that wasnt even flat. West grove does not care seeing how they get 150 of it.

Though I have not lived here, I did tour the apartment complex in the past few months and was not impressed. Be aware that the first few pictures are actually of the community area (which I will say is very nice) and not the apartments! I did get to see an apartment as well, but one shown was in the process of renovation and was a total mess. While I understand the renovation process, why wouldn't you show an apartment that had already been finished? I wasn't given any information or photos on what my apartment would actually look like if I moved in! The hallway smelled like sewage and cigarette smoke. Morale of the story...definitely get a showing before you sign anything.
We are in our late fifties and moved in to be closer to our Grandkids. We have been renters for many years. I have dealt with apartment management companies in the past, I just have only praise for the crew at Westgrove. They have been very attentive to our requests for maintenance. They call to follow up and ask if the work done meets my needs. The office personal are very nice. Nicole the manager is super. She listens to what I say. It’s clear that she is perfectly suited for her job. All the maintenance persons are top notch. The facilities like the rec room and pool are just great. All in all this is a great place to live.
I have been living at West Grove for just over a year and a half; and I love my home. I am grateful and thankful to have my home, be able to feel comfortable at home, and optimistic for the future by intending to create longevity in my home. The unique layout of my apartment is amazing along with my spacious bedroom that could easily fit a king-size bed with more than enough space around it. I am grateful and thankful for my neighbors who are all pleasant and respectful; it is very refreshing to be able be surrendered by people who all just get along. I am also grateful and thankful and have to give credit to the new owners! Under old management, soon after I moved into my apartment; I started to see somethings that made me question, if I was going to be comfortable calling West Grove home. However, since his PRM acquired the property, the overall energy of the complex has completely shifted with welcomed positivity. It was obvious when they bought the property they had their work cut out for them. Since then, they have done some amazing things to upgrade/add new amenities throughout the property/units, ensuring that maintenance is properly fixing any problems, and they are open to good communication with the tenants; where they treat you like a human living in a home NOT just a customer paying for space. I am sure that while they have checked off many items on their to do list for the property; they still have many more changes that need to be addressed. Keep in mind, it is important to know/understand, that in any great business success story there is more to it that meets the eye; there is detailed planning, proper prioritization and well executed follow thru; that creates the change necessary to build a better future!
I have lived at West Grove on the Lake Apartments for 3 years! The new management are very friendly and understanding with any problems that arise! Apartments are quiet and maintenance are fast fixing issues! You will never get bored living here there is a exercise room, basketball court, dog park, walking & bike trails close, pool, tennis court and more! They do allow cats & dogs! I would definitely recommend West Grove on the Lake Apartments!
Westgrove on the lake has changed so much!! I actually feel safe now with letting my kids play outside! There's so much for the kids and families to do!!! There's a new playground for the littles!!!! And the clubhouse for the entire family!! Which has a pool table, half court basketball court, table tennis, pac man,shuffle board, and air hockey!!! The management is amazing! They are knowledgeable people, kind and understanding. They are quick to respond to any issue that may arise!
The apartments and townhomes are really good.... used to live in apartment in Westgroove and now shifted in townhome ... both experiences are really good.... facilities are good... maintenance is quick and nice....very happy with them and will recommend to everyone. Staff is also very nice and polite. Best option for less price and great experience.??
They are disrespectful to disable tenants also refuse to fix problems for months the management is awful everything is a complete front looks good but its a horrible place to live they ignore tenants phone calls in case of after hour problems there's bugs mice ECT. you wont no till you move in my apartment. Backed up sewage 4 time in both bathrooms trust and believe worst place to rent in Waukesha security doors always broken to building entrances your not safe here
HORRIBLE APARTMENTS I would rate them with negative stars if I could. The new owners of the apartment complex are bleeding their residents of their money charging more for a two bedroom than what you could rent a house for in Waukesha. Not to mention they are towing their residents cars without proper notice out to Milwaukee and Sheboygan costing people $400-$800 to get their cars back!

I'm very happy with the apartment. The layout is good, and the bedrooms are huge. This is much better than the place I was living before, and for a very similar price. I couldn't be happier.
Lived here for 10 years and the neighbors have been great 95% of the time and the bad eggs don’t last before they are asked to leave. Building is very well maintained and cleaned. Halls are regularly painted and the hall carpet is cleaned. Land scraping is also done on a regular basis.
