The quaint neighborhood of Love Field takes its name from the Dallas Love Field Airport, the largest attraction and amenity in the neighborhood. I’ve lived here for 2.5 years. Just like any complex it has its pros and cons. I will say that management does take resident complaints seriously & maintenance is great. They come within 24 hours. There is now an officer that patrols.. it took them a while to get that going. There are not so great neighbors but the complex does handle them. They do preventative maintenance often. They have made some not so great mistakes but overall it’s pretty decent.
I love it. The size and amenities are great. The parking and security is a plus. I moved into a two bedroom apartment home. The kitchen is very spacious and the bath tubs is very big. We also have a good size standing shower

I’ve enjoyed many aspects of living in this apartment complex, but the noise from my upstairs neighbor has become a serious issue. It often feels like she’s stomping rather than walking, and the noise is loud enough to disrupt our daily activities and make it hard to relax. It’s particularly challenging at night when we’re trying to sleep. Management has been responsive to other concerns, but it would be great if there were guidelines or reminders in place to help everyone maintain a peaceful environment. If noise issues could be better addressed, this would be an ideal place to live. I’m hopeful for a solution soon!

Overall I love it here and I feel safe and secure in my place. The neighbors I've met so far have been kind and friendly. My only cons would be that maintenance responds a little slow and my upstairs neighbors are really noisy and heavy on their feet.

So far I’m currently on the fence about my experience. As beautiful the apartment is, I was taken back by the fact that I had a maintenance issue immediately upon my move in. I notified management within the first hour of me moving in and it took 72 hours to resolve. Other than that, I’ve asked a couple of residents about their experiences and I’m a bit concerned about the answers I’ve received. Out of 5 residence that I spoke to, only 2 said they enjoy the complex. It’s just something to keep in mind. Regardless, I’ll keep an open mind. It does help that my apartment is stunning and the staff seem very friendly .

This place was much better when I first moved in. There are a lot of maintenance issues such as broken door handle (i.e., mailroom door handle from outside) and if/when replaced they don’t work properly, dog poop in the hallway, loud noise during the weekend, and people putting their trash next to someone else’s residence and throwing their trash into someone else’s trash bin while the trash bin is sitting outside for trash pick up.

This apartment is okay. If you are looking for more of a community, this is not the apartment for you. They also have an issue with security (the gate usually breaks frequently and a lot of car break-ins). I would not recommend this apartment complex.

The office is friendly and responsive, and the maintenance staff is very good. The construction during the day is a bit annoying, but there's nothing they can do about it. I will say there have been a lot of car break-ins on the property, but that's been the case for a number of other properties in the area.

Living at West Mockingbird has been a nightmare. The persistent presence of cockroaches is not just unsightly but also a serious health hazard. Combine that with paper-thin walls that offer no insulation from noise or security from break-ins, and you've got a recipe for constant stress. It's disheartening to hear that even with new competition nearby, management hasn't addressed these fundamental issues. The promise of a peaceful home is shattered by the reality of noisy neighbors upstairs, making relaxation impossible. With break-ins occurring like clockwork, it's clear that security measures are sorely lacking. It's a shame that what could be a comfortable living space is marred by these shortcomings. Until significant improvements are made, West Mockingbird falls far short of providing a safe and enjoyable living environment.

my apartment itself was great! It’s very convenient to 183. But the parking garage and hallways seem to always be dirty. And definitely repeated problems with the garage gate being broken. Any maintenance issues were handled very quickly and everyone in the leasing office was very nice.

This apartment community, West Mockingbird in Dallas, has potential. Unfortunately, quality has consistently declined in the 20 months that I've lived here. Noise control has declined recently, end there is no way to make noise complaints at night. The courtesy officer patrol was discontinued & residents now use common areas after closing time. Communal resources are abused by residents & not maintained by management- see billiards table, pinball & coffee machines, gym facility and equipment & hallways. The garage gate is constantly broken, and the area does not feel safe enough for the garage to remain open all the time. The cleaning and maintenance dept is understaffed. Bottom line is I don't believe that I'm getting what I am paying for at West Mockingbird. I find it difficult to imagine that I would have a different experience at another Bell Partners community, and am strongly considering searching for another place to live after my lease expires in June.

Unfortunately, this apartment complex has gone downhill over the last 2 years. The gate is always broken and there has been an increase of car break-ins but the apartment doesn't seem to want to do anything to up security. The elevator is also sometimes broken and there is a huge trash issue which increases bugs and pests around the apartment. Neighbors don't pick up after their pets and therefore the apartment has a bad smell to it when walking outside and the landscape isn't very upkept/nice. This apartment is honestly way too expensive for the level of service you are provided and the amenities as well. The location is convenient but there are a lot of homeless people roaming around and sometimes going through trash.

I have been at West Mockingbird for 3 months and really love it. The staff was very helpful and caring, if I needed any help I would just go to the desk for questions and was promptly assisted, they threw an awesome community holiday party where I got to meet other residents, and I love all of the amenities the location has to offer including modern design and jam-packed gym/recreation area!

Wonderful living community with being close to downtown and work. The management is helpful and responsive to any issues. Only issue is the breaking in and stealing of packages

I have been quite happy with my time here as a resident at West Mockingbird. There is a trash problem & ongoing problems with the secure garage gate being broken. But overall, I have had a good experience living here.

The apartments are great. Just the right amount of space. The common areas are always clean and very spacious. The pool is amazing. Management is responsive and maintenance is as well.

Extremely easy and straight forward process. Savannah was a great help and made me feel welcome immediately. The apartment complex is phenomenal.

The apartment complex is okay. Being close to the airport and work is nice. The pool in the summer is lovely. Security has gotten better, but occasion issues arise.

so far it has been great! easy communication with the front office. complex is always kept clean.. especially the elevators. neighbors are pretty quiet.

We’ve had reoccurring issues with aggressive dogs throughout our hallway to the point that now we don’t let our children walk anywhere close to the walls and make them walk in the center of the hall. My oldest son got bit two weeks ago and my mother witnessed a guy getting bit just walking by a big white dog. The apartment itself is nice and Maintenance is kind but I don’t think we’ll be renewing our lease.

Awesome Office & maintenance staff! Beautiful pool area & West Mockingbird has been a great place to live. Very easy to commute to DFW! And, also, so easy to get to Uptown area & Downtown, too!
Very clean with friendly staff. Always willing to help and answer any questions. New to the community but love it here already, and so does our dog!
the entire move in process was easy and Jesse made it smooth and simple. The apartment and security seem clean and efficient. The only thing I would maybe change is just the guest parking to have that be gated too if possible.

West Mockingbird is an Oasis in the desert. The complex staff are very attentive to anything that needs to be addressed. The clubhouse has many amenities.

Moved into a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. On move in day washer and dryer did not work, water did not work from bathroom sink, and refrigerator made a loud whistling noise. A few days after moving in toilet kept getting clogged to where I had to go days without a working toilet in a 1 bathroom apartment. The replaced the toilet, but I tried explaining it was something wrong with the toilet because it kept clogging. They told me plumbing blamed me for putting things down the toilet. On the third clog they found a screwdriver lodged in the toilet, possibly left behind from when they replaced the toilet. I had to ask for the rent I paid for the days without a working toilet to be credit back as no one reach out to provide any consideration in a very inconvenient 2-3 month process. 2 stars for the gym. Overpriced and the parking gate for residents is always broken.
I really like this place, since the first time I saw the place I like it, its really nice, and Jesse helped me a lot, he is really kind, and helped us a lot

Great complex and amazing pool. The neighborhood is so close to work and the space is beautiful. I never have issues with the management. Highly recommend
I’ve enjoyed my last year here and plan on staying another year! The pool is amazing and the location. The gate to the parking garage breaks an often but easily fixed. We are updated weekly on any repairs going on in the building.
Love living at West Mockingbird! Gréât gym and pool and people are nice. My apartment is a great layout and all of the amenities are kept up. It is a great location as well
