The low rent is not worth the infestation. Mice, rats, roaches you name it, walls are paper thin and covered in holes that make it easy for vermin to get in and stay in

Only leaving one star because I have to, not because I want to. I currently have been living here going on 3 years now and this is by far my worst year ever. The mice and roaches are taking over my unit. I have not been staying home where I pay rent because of this issue. All they do is give you peppermint oil to spray (doesn’t work) and put down sticky traps. The ladies in the office are even scared to enter my Apt due to the infestation. My unit is very clean. I have nothing but traps and rat poison down all around my apartment and it’s very unpleasant to see. Everyday I come to check on my Apt there is a mouse caught on a trap. Sometimes more than one caught on one trap. Let me mention I have seen them roam around also while present in the home. They do not answer the after hour maintenance line & if they do, they still will not come out. Living here has been very stressful. The living conditions are unsafe and inhabitable. Save yourself the headache. Definitely not worth what we are paying.

It took a full month just to move in and once moved in there was mold exposed wire and cracks in the ceiling not to include food outside of the units. When I brought the concern to the management office they lied about the conditions so now I have to go through a lawyer to get out of the contract

It is excellent to me because, I have never had a problem with Westbrook, and I am very comfortable there

Terrible apartments. I recently moved out of Westbrook because I just couldn’t take it anymore. The walls were so thin, I could hear my neighbors conversation from my bedroom. Maintenance is terrible . When we first moved in, nearing Winter, we didn’t even have a furnace. We were freezing for almost a month . When they did bring a furnace it was old and rusty and the guy dragged it through our living room leaving a nasty stain. When we asked about the stain he tells us “Yeah your best bet is to get it professionally cleaned, they won’t send us back out here to clean it.” SO UNPROFESSIONAL.. Once we did move out, we were fined 424 for “carpet replacement” ! And the office manager says there is no way she can change anything so we were forced to pay it. I can keep going on and on about how terrible our experience was there.

It has been over a week since I’ve called and still NOBODY has came out to fix my problem do not move here I wish I could brake my lease at this point because if it’s not one thing it’s another with this place!!!!

They you to have superb service when Cina was working with maintenance. Since he hasn’t been here maintenance service has been obsolete or nonexistent so to speak. I continuously call about situations just to get told there’s a work order in, but the problem never gets solved. It seem like nothing ever gets fixed anymore.

The maintenance man Cina made me feel at home and he took care of all the problems that was in my building.

I love the paint job its the best ever. He did wonderful on everything. This is the best place to live.

DO NOT MOVE HERE !!!!!!!!! It’s disgusting, my apartment is infested by mice .i put down traps myself I called the office & was told i’d be our on a list . I then asked to move & still NOTHING! Save your money the ladies at the front desk has nasty attitudes as well

First off, I’ve been here for almost a year. The same problems I reported from the move in date are still ongoing problems. Never was aware that management was going to change and all of a sudden everybody that helped me get into my house is GONE. No letter stating management has changed? When it rains, the carpet gets soaked and makes a TERRIBLE odor in the house. Secondly, ROACHESSSSS! I tried to get the problems fixed but it seem like they only got worst. Lastly, maintenance doesn’t do their jobs properly. House falling down in front of my eyes. If you just want to browse do it elsewhere. Don’t move here for the price. Make this your LAST choice! #MOVEOUTTIME!!!!

Front office has a nasty disposition! And maintenance enters unannounced without cause!!

Terrible owners, They told me my apartment would be ready by a certain date and all of a sudden the pipes bussed and no one called to inform me that my unit wouldn’t be ready anymore i eventually found a apartment somewhere else and they didn’t even give me the option of giving me my security deposit back because of their inconvenience.

1 star is too many management and maintenance are inconsiderate of paying tenants unacceptable BBB should shut this place down I have pictures and reports of all damage done by staff they think people supposed to live like this .. horrible..

Westbrook was very peaceful no break ins ..whenever i called for something to be fixed they came with no problem but the mice are really bad .. they need to figure out how to keep them away to many people were complaining in nothing was done... the apartments need to be updated aswell ..if I was asked to move back I would only if the mice situation was token care of the staff in the office were very respectful and nice...

I PUT DOWN A DEPOSIT IN OCTOBER ...AT THE TIME I WAS WORKING WITH KAYLA ..AND KAYLA SAID THAT IT MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE ON THE MOVE IN DATE I REQUESTED AND THATS SHE'LL CALL ME.. SHE NEVER DID AND SHE DOESN'T WOTLRK THERE ANYMORE .. NOW WHEN I PUT THE DEPOSIT DOWN IT SAID IT WAS NON REFUNDABLE UNLESS THE PROBLEM WAS ON THEIR BEHALF ..AND THIS HERE IS IN THEIR BEHALF BUT THE NEW MANAGEMENT THAT CAME OUT OF NOWHERE DOESN'T WANT TO ..I JUST WANT MY 108 BACK..I WOULDN'T CARE IF I ONLY PUT 5 DOWN..I WANT IT BACK

Being at Westbrook is like being with family. The staff is friendly and Pleasant . I had an excellent experience . If you need a place that feel like home choose west brook . There loving spirit will carry you right into your new home

This place was horrible. I lived there and had to deal with shootings, roaches, maintenance issues, A property manager that's impossible to get in touch with & they are scam artists. They'll find any reason to evict you so they can move someone else in and still bill you for the remainder of your lease along with other things you have to pay for that were already done to the apartment before you move in. They don't even deserve the one star I had to give them to write this review.

I should have followed my first mind and listened to these reviews. This place is nasty bed bugs and roaches. ONLY been in my apartment for a month and I wish I could break my lease NOW!!!! They don't want to fix nothing but want their rent on time. Old appliances carpet never been clean anything. DONT MOVE HERE AT ALL!!!!

This property was my worse experience renting and the buildings should be torn down. From holes in the walls, leaking sinks, mice, roaches, and trash constantly outside, as well as over flowing dumpsters, you have to consider what you want your family to live in. Maintenance patches problems but for as much work as the property needs it is a never ending battle and the management company will spend the least amount of money to actually make this community livable. Management does not address concerns in a timely fashion and do not respect tenets when situations do arise. Consider all of your choices and do not get baited in with the description and rent prices.

There is really wrong with the neighborhood. But the apartment kitchen I feel need a bit of a up date. you have a old stove and and a small fridge. I also feel that the wall layout could of been better but thats just in my opinion. and we have vents for central air but there is no central air so no I wonder what its really for.

I have been in Westbrook for a year now. The rent is cheap it'squiet & neighbors are friendly. I just wish they would hire better maintenance guys who actually complete work orders. I have had several repairs repairs swept under the rug. I will most likely resign my lease because overall it is a great community.
