Property Ratings at Westbrook Tower
I lived here for about a year and it seems decent at first for the price but you will quickly realize there are roaches especially in the kitchen. I didn’t leave food or anything out at all and it was so gross to see them. I also think there were bedbugs in my unit and I did some home remedy type stuff and the overnight bites stopped happening. There is water damage that they will either ignore or just paint over. It also smelled like cigarettes if someone smoked in a unit next to you. Management is very inattentive.
I just renewed my lease from a studio to a one bedroom. They apartments are basic which makes them affordable and with great high rise views. Everyone you pass In the elevators and are super friendly and polite. I like it here.
Not a bad location. Great for taking the bus and going to the old market. Very small 1 bedrooms so it feels a bit cramped. The kitchen is very small with very little cabinet space. Sadly there is water damage in the apartment that happened back in September and it still has not been fixed, so if it rains I have to put towels down in a lot of spots. Not to mention the walls look like they are going to explode and peel apart any time soon. My bath tub keeps peeling up even after they had redone the coating since the first time this has happened so now they have to fix it again after only 3 months! The manger is almost never here, he always seems to be stepping out of the office. I really wanted to like this place but there have just been to many problems that have not been fixed.
I absolutely love my apartment. I love on the 17th floor and face downtown. When there are fireworks downtown I can see them. I'm able to watch the lights change at the Woodmen building. Walking distance to downtown. The management has been great to work with. I have a walk in closet and a full length closet in my bedroom plus a coat closet. the kitchen is tiny bit with some creative organization it's workable. I love being close to work downtown and the nightlife. I will be renewing as long as I love in Omaha!
My apartment had roaches during the entire length of my stay.
This apartment was perfect when I was an undergraduate in college, perfect when I graduated, perfect still when I started walking in the real world and perfect when I went back to school for my graduate degree. It has fit every stage of my journey and I feel safe and cared for by the staff. It is located in an area were you can walk to the old market or walk to midtown crossing with ease. I am surrounded by all my favorite places, restaurants, locally owned grocery store, my favorite bank, theaters, coffee shops, Creighton University, Joslyn museum, and my favorite work out gym were I enjoy my zumba class. The bedroom and living room in the apartment are larger than most of the more expensive apartments I looked at before I moved in and it costs half as much. It doesn't have a pool or a fireplace but it is safe, clean, classy, well managed and definitely the right place for me.
Very clean and perofessionally operated building. My one bedroom with one bath was spacious with a wal-in closet. However, I had a medical emergency and returned to Salt Lake City, Utah. There is a Nebraska law that states that if you the tenant do not inform management that you are leaving town, they can enter your apartment, conficate your possessions and sue you. This is even though you are paid up on your rent, have not damaged the property, and keep your deposit. I lived there for ayear 2002-2003.
I visited Westbrook on 5/08/13 and I was highly impressed the facility was very neat and well organized Staff was very polite and very informative on he property I plan on moving in June 1
