Property Ratings at Westchester Square Apartments
I have greatly enjoyed my time here, and I'm sorry to be moving out. The management is very unintrusive and friendly when you need them. If maintenance needs to come by, the office always notifies you with either a letter or phone call. These apartments are very old so be prepared for older appliances. The plumbing is also very sensitive although in the three years i have lived here, it's never been a problem. My water heater broke and flooded the downstairs apartment. Maintenance was quick to fix it and I didn't have another problem with any appliance. I had fantastic neighbors on every side. I could never hear any noise from my next door neighbor, and my downstairs neighbor mentioned that she could never hear me walking around which is good. The parking spots are organized in a very weird way. You have an assigned spot, but some spots are still unmarked. The pool is right behind the office and closes kind of early. The rent has increased steadily in the last year or so. We originally paid $615 for a 1080 sq ft apt with 2 bedrooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms. We are now paying $645 and the rent is supposed to go up another $20 next month. All in all, there have been a few minor annoyances, such as the water heater and random rent increases, but this apartment complex is one of the best and cheapest for the size!
