Property Ratings at Western Serrano Ave Apartments
I currently (November 2024) live in this apartment complex and looking for another place to live. There are TONS OF ROACHES in the entire building. I have had my apartment sprayed/treated over and over for many months by pest control. Unfortunately, the treatments are not affective unless every unit in the building is sprayed/treated. Ironically, not all tenants want to spray/treat their apartment to help get rid of the roach problems. So the roach problem will NOT end!!
I toured this build and the advertised photos clearly does not represent how the building and the apartment units really look like. The common area hallways are filthy!! The carpet in the hallways are detaching from the floor and looks like it hasn't been replaced in YEARS. In addition, there were cockroaches crawling the hallways. So just imagine what the apartment units are like (the same as the hallways).
I came to visit my son and was very disappointed to see that the building is very run down. The neighbors say that there has not been any improvements to the building in 10 or more years.
Spacious rooms, very quiet for a large bldg. Good maintenance upkeep, close to markets and shops and more importantly Under NEW MANAGEMENT.
