Property Ratings at Westgate Apartments
We are seeing rats in our house and gave a complaint to leasing office and maintenance office. The reply is, there are no maintenance guys right now and need to wait till next week for maintenance guys and 20 days for pest control guys. It's been 10+ days, Still no maintenance guy and are giving same reply. I didn't understand how a management say to a family with kinds to stay with the rats till the maintenance guys come.

Hello Maxew, We are aware of the reports of pest issues and mice have been sighted in your unit; not rats, but certainly warrants our full attention to eradicate. I have a meeting with the Owner of our pest control company next week and we are taking all steps necessary. We will be going around perimeter of buildings to block any possible entries and our Maintenance team continues to work closely with our pest control company for regular service as our own team will continue to fill any possible entries (behind appliance) etc. While I do understand it is frustrating to have to wait for availability with our specialized pest control company, I will be sending over our Maintenance Super to your unit ASAP to make sure this is addressed to the fullest extent. Worst maintenance service and leasing office people. Cutting down water suddenly without informing for many times. When we raise the concern they raise their voices. What should I do if I am stuck inside? The renovation work lasts for more than a month. We bear the bombing noises but have to bear other issues as well. Many more…….. Don’t recommend them. During leasing time they will be sweetest. But once you are trapped they will show their real work.
The Westgate apartment is one of the very few affordable apartments available in the neighborhood and is conveniently located near I-95 and I-93. The buildings here are older compared to other nearby communities. They have only 2 washers and 2 driers available for each building that contains 22 families, which itself makes it rarely available, provided they don't breakdown. You need to go all the way to the apartment management building to recharge your laundry card, which again will be locked during weekends and on weekdays after 5 PM. The apartment management simply wont care for anything that happens in the apartment unless its related to late rent payment. They take somewhere between 40-55 days to replace a broken microwave oven after repeated follow ups and calls. They never respond to emails, but its better to log maintenance requests through emails to keep a record of when the issue was originally reported. When the maintenance guy finally turns up to fix the issue, the experience is horrible, that they make you feel you can be better off without getting them fixed. To sum it all up, you can stay here only if you don't expect any sort of support from the maintenance department, which is inevitable, given the old appliances in all the buildings.

Just to reiterate, we do not automatically install new appliances between every move-in and move-out unless replacement is necessary; for instance, your microwave was replaced back in December. Regarding laundry, as a reminder - we do 2 washers and 2 dryers per building; the laundry card machine is closed by 5:30 pm on the weekdays and is closed on weekends only because it is located in our fitness center – which is closed due to current COVID-19 restrictions. Westgate offers huge one and two bedroom apartments in a nice neighborhood close to I93 and I95. You will enjoy a huge apartment with beautiful terrace. It is spacious, featuring new amenities, parking, and friendly staff. Maintenance is always helpful, but because of the great work they do before and after every tenant, little is required during your stay. There is a huge pool you can enjoy during the summer. It takes only 15 minutes drive to Boston, and that is the best of all.
