Property Ratings at Westley on the Beltline
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! Hallway are always dirty roaches and RATS everywhere. Front office is NO help, cars constantly are getting broken into (mines twice) someone got murderd and another shot just a couple weeks ago my water bill is almost 300$ IN A ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT (I stay alone) and they won’t tell me how. Junkies and homeless people constantly get in the building harassing women! It’s all bad don’t move here!!!!
The bldg is falling apart/nothing works as it should. Logged 20+ maintenance requests since living here for less than 3 months & have fought the office for basic action on several matters the entire time. Missing fixtures, windows did not work, & the A/C did not work. We were stuck in a hot apt for days w/ no windows or A/C. Washing machine did not work. It took til end of May to get replaced. The water heater broke in April & flooded our living room, soaked through the walls on to the patio & started wetting the carpet in bedrooms and damaged the floor in the laundry. Ended up draining the tank, left us without water for 3 days when we were told it would be 1. No apologies, no compensation of even offering water for us to flush our toilets. The old tank & the old washing machine are still outside our apt. Issues w/ the valet trash (supposed to be taken daily & trash will sit for days) & when questioned, it turned into a whole fiasco where an agent accused us of leaving trash on a different floor than our own & threatened to fine us if we did not do someone's job. Claimed it was labeled as our apt's & we went up to move it to avoid a fine even though we knew it wasn't our trash. When confronted with video she quickly backtracked, threw the blame on someone else, & told us not to worry about it. Still no apology. The most recent issue has made our apt uninhabitable. There is some type of leak above us. The leasing office/maintenance was made aware immediately & we were told that it was fixed & water needed to drain through our apartment for 20 mins. It's currently been 7 days, 26 gals of dirty water later & we're still dealing with it. It's spread from the utility room, to the entryway, to the living room, the windows, & is working its way toward the bedrooms. There's now water damage/mold/cracking/swelling. Yesterday something burst & a disgusting mix of solids & dirty water entered the apt. We keep being told by leasing agents that this is not their problem, they cannot help us, they are not responsible, it's not an emergency & we are not a priority. They say that there are other more emergencies that need their attention. No solution was given, no sympathy/care expressed. In fact, we have been repeatedly given attitude as if we are bothering them by asking them to do their job so that we can live without safety hazards.
I currently live here and If zero stars was an option I would definitely rate this place a zero stars. Let me start out with the leasing office. The leasing office will probably never answer your calls or maintenue requests. They don’t care about their residents and they won’t respond to you if you ask questions. They don’t respond to maintenance requests. I have had a rat in my apartment for three weeks now I submitted a maintenance request three weeks ago and nobody has responded to it. I called the leasing office and they told me to submit a request online and nobody has responded to it. two weeks ago they sent me a survey to complete about my maintenance request and I asked that somebody please respond and still nobody has responded. My water bill has been over $900 for the past three months and I have asked for a breakdown of my water bill and they have still failed to send it to me I have never received a breakdown of my water bill and they told me I should receive it by mail I asked where they were and they have not responded that was two weeks ago. Save your money and go live somewhere else. this place is not worth the hassle of dealing with the horrible management and maintenue services. the apartments are dirty and none of my doors are sealed. even the ones leading to the outside hallway. Please take my advice and DO NOT LIVE HERE
Tiffany, Assistant Manager, took two weeks to reply. I sent my endless emails, voicemails, and stopped by during the hours they have currently listed. No customer service here.
Very busy, fast pace, and warm setting office. The staff were pleasant, helpful and I can't stress busy enough. We were taken care of by Jackie who has the funniest, and bubbly personality that made us feel welcomed and at home. Even though we weren't approved but was given positive instructions on how to correct the issue on our credit but when we get it straight we will be back to reapply for that 2 bedroom 2 bath. Thank you all for the helpful advise and not being inconsiderate of our situation.
This building has a severe and uncontrollable case of black mold. Our are ruined and they do nothing to help you as they are not treating the storage rooms and apartment effectively and fast. The mold was painted over in my bathroom. The situation with the noise and cleanliness has not been solved in 2 years and it is getting unbearable. OVERLY priced. Please, find an apartment elsewhere!!!
yolonda is wonderful!!! She was so helpful and informative she really made this process very easy for me.... now some of the people living in property could use some work but that mainly comes from residence who live on the property... like clean up your dogs poop people don’t just leave your trash in the hallway so disrespectful
This review is for the leasing agent at “The Pointe On Northside dr”. Yolanda is a Gem and simply amazing! Splendid customer care, she kept aware of all my wants and needs within the unit, and accommodated every request. If you’re searching for an apartment at 370 Northside Dr, Yolanda is your go-to! Awesome experience! Thanks!
1. Hallways are filthy 2. Maintenance is non-existent 3. Insects are a constant problem 4. Front office is not willing to help under any circumstances 5. They lost a payment and sent a deb collector 6. Guess parking is very limited and will boot a car at the first opportunity
Today, at 1:42 pm four more resident's cars have been broken into and vandalized in. Eight (8) cars in two weeks!!! UNACCEPTABLE! High rent for the most dangerous apartments in downtown Atlanta, right now. Police is called every day. No cameras, no security person, not a safe place.
This place does not provide safety specially at the supposedly "gated" parking lot. Last week, I observed that four tires had been stolen from a car while parked (Atlanta police can confirm that). Yesterday, four cars were broken into in broad daylight (between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm) and one of them was mine, parked at the entrance of the bridge that connects the parking lot and the apartments building, People constantly pass by in this area. The police officer advised crime happens here on a weekly basis, or more frequently as some people party loudly, sell drugs, and vandalize residents' property at the lot. I have witnessed that the box which opens the residents' parking lot gate, has been torn and broken three times. The administration did not take responsibility to protect residents and after yesterday's unbelievable crime scene and they received a message requesting to be "responsible" and listing things to do and report. My car is two years old and locks safely and it was parked correctly, where people are constantly present and could have been hurt. I never have valuables in it, however, my car window was crashed as it happened on THREE other cars, too! The criminal was seen on a video from afar but, no picture of the individual was posted to help residents. Major security is needed at this place and NOTHING is being done to protect high rent paying residents. Please, protect yourself and your loved ones and DO NOT move in here.
I’ve been here over a year overall I like living here great location and reasonable rent price ...Management could be a little better as far as fixing problems
This review is SOLELY to describe my experience working with leasing consultant Sheldrick. I want to first start off by saying that I have been a resident of this community since December 2009. So I can literally write a book about living here. However, I would like to say recently I have had some major issues with management and have gone as far as to make a formal complaint with the property management company. Honestly, I wanted to leave. I feel that I have a choice to live here and I can pay $1300 plus to live anywhere here in the city. With all that being said, Sheldrick has been the most helpful and pleasant person to work with. When I come into the office for anything, he always make me feel like I am a priority. I work in customer service and I know how a person should be treated. What made me write this review today is because I went into the office yesterday around 4pm(Sunday) upset (very upset) with a list of things (8 items) that needed to be fixed in my apartment. He promised me he would be on top of it first thing in the morning. Well, I was ok we'll see lol! So, before I left for work this morning a maintenance personal was in my apartment with 8 different work orders to fix all issues. Never, ever had I ever had maintenance come to my home so quickly. Most times they never come at all. I work long hours and I don't have time chasing behind people to do their job. I JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU SHELDRICK FOR SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! HE NEVER MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I'M BOTHERING HIM OR AN INCONVIENCE. I FEEL THAT OTHERS NEED TO TAKE A CLASS ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. ***SIDE NOTE*** THE ASSISANT MANAGER IS REALLY SWEET ALSO....BUT THAT'S IT LOL
Property Manager at Westley on the Beltline, Responded To This Review
We would like to thank you for giving your review about our community. We are so thankful to have Sheldrick as a team member here at the Point at Westside. He is always ready to serve our residents. He is a great asset to our community. If you need anything, please feel free to contact our leasing office.
To keep it short, I'll begin with the worst... Rent is cheap but the water bill is avg $300 The staged apartment is beautiful but your apartment won't be. The garage is filthy Management constantly changes and does not listen to complaints.
Property Manager at Westley on the Beltline, Responded To This Review
For the utility bill, we have made several changes to by switching the billing company and we have 3 disputes with the City of Atlanta. We are always to speak with you about your utility bill. Also, we have made the necessary changes to have our groundskeeper work on the weekend and have a NEW cleaning contract to make sure the breezeway and garage are clean. Please know that our new staff members are available seven days a week to listen to any complaints you may have. We are here to service you and make sure you enjoy living at The Point at Westside.
At First glance these apartments look great! It is a trick! I've live in these Apartments for almost a year now and I CAN'T WAIT to move! When I first moved in I had Roaches that took almost 2 months to get rid of. When I approached the office about my pest problem they told me "Oh its been raining a lot, those are just water bugs." When I asked for additional pest control they told me there would be an extra fee! What! To have Roaches from a previous Tenant removed! Strike one. Our rent is $1125 o month but somehow our total ended up being around $1400 Every month. When I asked the office Supervisor and Manager why it was so high the answer was always "The city has been having spiking water cost we are looking into it" after the 4th month of paying almost $300 in overages I had to get my lawyer involved. The next month when I went to the office Miraculously I was given $125 off of my bill for that month... Please explain how I was able to get a discount one month but I wont receive a refund for the other months where I paid horrendous prices for water. This water issue is also not isolated. A fed up tenant put letters on every door calling us to action so that we would all ,as a whole, stop being gouged for water. I called the local news.Strike two. Over 30 Cars were broken into in my time here and unfortunately I still have a few months left to live here. Several apartments had their doors kicked in and to add insult to injury someone was also Murdered. I do fear that harm will come to myself and my family here any time i hear something outside of the door or walk to the car alone. A word to the Wise. DO NOT MOVE HERE! (No Reply for 4 Noise complaints on my loud, ceiling vibrating neighbors, Weak Security, Painfully Gouging Water Bill, Inadequate Parking, Unsafe)
Property Manager at Westley on the Beltline, Responded To This Review
Waypoint Residential has made several changes to the community. With your security and noise complaints, we have added a courtesy officer and we have switch our security patrol. You are able to call the after-hour service and reach our courtesy officer for any noise complaints. We have added additional hours to our security patrol and we have Atlanta Police patrol our community as well. We have switch to a new billing company for our water bills and we have 3 disputes with the City of Atlanta. If you have any issues with your water bill, you are more than welcome to come to the leasing office and speak with the manager. I understand that you received a credit and we will be happy to look over the previous months as well. For pest control, we do apologize that you were told that there was an additional fee. However, we do not charge our residents for pest control if an additional visit is needed. If you would need for us to schedule pest control for you, please feel free to contact the leasing office.
The best thing about these apartments is the location. They are definitely not luxury, but clean and relatively new for the area. Although it's in a pretty sketchy neighborhood, I feel safe because of a constant police presence. Walls are very thin, but not a huge problem considering the price. Very convenient to Georgia State and the AUC, mostly college kids live here
The Envoy on Northside dr is convent to downtown the GWCC the Ga Dome a great place to live close to great dining. Security on property and gated parking
These apartments are horrible, inconvenient, unsafe, and also overly pricy. We've had 3 property managers in less than one year. The commute to your vehicle is horrible. Cleanliness is horrible. Someone was murdered here last week. .its just overall not a good place to live. I would never refer anyone here. I'm trying to get out myself.
I recently moved into the Envoy at Northside and so far it's Ben an enjoyable experience. The front office personnel are knowledgable and friendly. I look forward to enjoying my stay here in the future.
This building is close enough to everything yet sits on it's own, safely away from the crowd. 1 block away from World Congress Center, Georgia Dome, and 5 minute walk to the Marta Station. You can walk to CNN Center, Centennial Park, the Aquarium and all of the attractions, hop on the Atlanta Street car to get to work or to the restaurants and nightlife spots. Conveniently located to all the colleges including Georgia Tech, Spelman and Morehouse. Easy access to highway 75/85 and 20. 25 minutes to Hartsfield International Airport. Plus the usual amenities to include, gym, pool, office center and club room.
I did not enjoy my stay in these apartments due to the surrounding neighborhood. On average, we could hear gun shots from our apartment, which seemed to be in close proximity, about 3-4 times A WEEK. We lived in the second building which has four levels (we stayed on the 3rd floor). There is NO ELEVATOR in this building and the maintenance of the grounds is below standards of what is considered clean. People leave garbage throughout the hallways, old furniture, spill food etc. It takes days for the grounds to be cleaned in the second building. The first building is kept up much better and has an elevator. It is also separated from the surrounding neighborhood by the parking deck and second building. This community is supposed to be gated, but 95% of the time, anyone could enter into the second building because the gate was always broken. In addition to what seemed to be a lack of concern for the maintenance of the second building, I was also very unpleased with my water bill every month. We lived in a 3 bd 2 bath. Our bill was 260 every month because the property billed each unit based on the entire usage of the complex. Absolutely ridiculous. My friends living in the same city in other complexes paid no more than 60 (and that was high to them) for their water bill. When we signed our lease, water was billed per individual unit. As soon as we moved in the complex changed contracts and began billing for the entire complex. I should have read the lease better because it did say they have the right to do so. It wouldn't have been a problem if the bill wasn't so high. Lastly, you are billed for valet trash pickup but the come whenever they feel like it, and try and fine people who have their trash out before/after hours, but fail to realize that they rarely pick up the trash.
Property Manager at Westley on the Beltline, Responded To This Review
Waypoint Residential has made several changes to the community. We have changed our security patrol service and added additional hours. We have changed our service team and our groundskeeper works on the weekend. We want to make sure we are able to pick-up trash throughout the community on Saturday and Sunday. With the utility bills, we have switched our billing company and currently have 3 disputes with the City of Atlanta. If you have any issues with your utility bill, please feel free to contact the property manager. We will be more than welcome to sit down with you and go over your bill.
Wonderful courtyard pool plenty of lounging chairs wonderful grill area. It's hot outside but cool In the pool great party area also
So you're looking for a place to live? Well let me tell you about Envoy! Here at Envoy the residents and management get along great. You know how at some places you have issues getting things handled? Not here everything from maintenance to the neighborhood watch is running at 100%. I will say the water bill is a bit expensive though.
