Property Ratings at Weston Medical Center Apartments
This place has a serious roach problem. It doesnt matter how clean you are, the roaches will find a way inside your home. Especially kitchen area. It’s an issue that needs the attention of the health department.

Hi there. We would like to hear more about this, however we are unable to identify you as a resident. Please reach out to us so we can properly address your concerns. Thank you.
Visited this place, the hallways are very dirty, and the the units + halls smell like weed. When we got there for the tour, there was a line or irate residents for various issues. The pictures look nothing like the unit we saw.

Hi there. Due to the anonymity of this review, we are unable to identify you as a prospect. Please give us a call so we properly can address this in the most efficient way possible. Thank you and we hope to hear from you promptly!
I’ll try to keep this sorta short. I wouldn’t recommend anyone move here: - They respond slowly to maintenance issues - Gate was broken, so a lot security concerns - They do not clean the ground often, there was broken glass in the parking area for 6+ months - High turn over with the front office - Elevator breaks often - Gym isn’t maintained or cleaned regularly. I lived here for 16 months. I couldn’t wait to leave. I had a real issue with leak for 9 months, they waited until it got really bad and possible mold to do a half job before I left. I’m sure only to get ready for the next tenant. Cut a hole in the living room and left it there for 3-4 weeks. Then did a half cover attempt with dry wall. I had told them about leaks for 9 months and it was never properly addressed. I moved out, did walk through and was told I should receive my deposit minus last utilities. I feel I shouldn’t owe anything and somehow they are saying my utilities were higher than my deposit. I didn’t even cook so my gas shouldn’t be high and water bill was never high. So it upset me, but I never got a final bill from them but from a collection agency. Which is ridiculous, I was very upset. I’ll pay it just because of the small amount. I tried just letting it go but this was the absolute last straw. So here’s my honest review of my stay. Only positive was one rep Steve and location to medical center. But there are plenty other Apts in the area. Also I believe they pay for fake reviews. Not way this should be rated any higher than 2.5 stars.

Dog pop everywhere even in the laundry room and also the hall way is always dirty and. pop smell smoking weed is everywhere please don't move in and stay away
This is a safe and quiet place to live. There are no roaches. If you like buildings with character, you will enjoy living here. Steve and the gang in the office made the move-in process easy and seemless. We enjoy living here.
Do not be fooled by the recent reviews--the Weston is a horrible place to live. Resident in building 1 had unit broken into with a crow bar, and heard of another report of a resident who watched through the peephole as men tried to open the door while resident was inside in the middle of the day. Courtesy officer presence is practically absent and the front gate consistently does not work and does not get repaired. It is currently wide open and has been for over a month. The Weston is not safe for families, residents living alone, women, and anybody who deserves going to bed knowing they are safe. The front office does not give consistent answers to questions. If you have any desire for a decent place to live, absolutely do not look at the Weston.
I found the perfect spot very quickly thanks to Brittany! Very smooth process. Everybody in the office is super welcoming as well
The apartment is amazing. They staff is a amazing but I really want to shout-out John. Great guy who always goes out of his way to help you, even if it’s as small a task of bring you a water bottle.
I frequently go to the office because I’m new to the neighborhood and I’m trying to get adjusted to the community whenever I’m at the office I’m always greeted by smiling faces everyone is extremely friendly and very easy to communicate with they provided me with some information about the community such as supermarkets etc so I never hesitate to ask them if I any questions or concerns and this is why I’m giving them the rating
Great customer service! Maritza really helped me figure out watch option was best for me!
The Weston is a great place to work . Bri is also very helpful . She goes above and beyond .
I just moved in recently but the entire process went really well because of Brittney at the leasing office. Everyone is very nice at the office! I moved into a classic unit and it is so spacious. My last complex was a bad experience so this is a nice change and exactly what I needed.
I’m a current resident been living here almost a year and I’ve had a great experience. Brittany is nice and friendly and always attend to my needs.
The staff and property does a great job with helping tenants on a consistent basis. I have had a great experience thus far
the front desk workers are very nice and very helpful and made the moving experience very easy and fluent
I’ve been here since December and I have no complaints honestly. Any issues I had they were resolved and quickly . Steve is a huge help and will go out of his way . Maintenance is fast but I think I’ve only needed them twice and when I first moved in they offered to help with my furniture even came back to make sure I got everything in . And I love the apps the have for the gate and the gym but they have one for your door they just haven’t ordered new modems yet
No sympathy for people struggling through the pandemic. Sent an eviction notice for being 4days late with rent. Tried to work out a plan and they didn’t work with me at all or seem to care. I chose to go ahead and leave the complex and til this day, they are still trying to charge rent for the couple months I have been gone. This place is a terrible place to live. Don’t waste your money with this place. I I could give it negative stars I would.
I moved in back in November 2021. I was assisted by Steve. One of the best workers. He showed us the exact apartment we would move into and helped make things 10 times easier. When we moved in there is some pest issues. I love the app to open the gate and to access the fitness rooms. You’re able to park anywhere as long as it doesn’t say reserved. Love my apartment location and space. The only bad review I have is making sure the maintenance staff is able to understand English to help assist their residents.
We have been residents at the Weston for about half a year and if it weren't for our financial situation we would have been OUT the first week we moved in. We feel that those considering the Weston should be fully aware that this place is run down, always breaking, disorganized, and a money pit for those who just need a place to live. We have had faulty fire alarms go off countless times, our water shut off WITHOUT WARNING due to maintenance and scheduled repairs, our unit was still being cleaned and unlivable hours AFTER our move in date and time, we have reported necessary repairs that do not get addressed (COVID staffing shortages is no longer an excuse, come on--we are years into this situation now), we have been waiting for our fire alarm to be replaced SINCE JULY, they painted over the previous tenants mess and we still find HAIR in the paint in the WALLS and CEILING. It is so gross. We so badly wish we could be out of here. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. Front office staff are nice and the property looks well put together, but it is NOT. It is all a face. Please reconsider moving in to the Weston. There is so much better.
Roaches since day one. In my food, crawling on my sofa and onto my shirt, in the dishwasher, fridge, coming out of vents and drains. I can’t cook here. They even get in my microwave. I’m left to eat only things in packages and that can be heated up with a lid on in the microwave. I pulled dinner out of the oven one night and plated it, only to see a baby roach crawl out while I was eating. Fought to get someone out to spray, they’ve come twice this year only because I stayed on them about it. The roaches are still here. I’m jumpy all of the time because the bugs startle me. There’s something in the air in the system that is making me feel sick all the time. I’m on the second floor and the concrete is busted and sinking. I’ve requested for an inspection but so far nothing has happened. I fear for my life now because the cracks in the concrete are getting significantly worse faster and faster. I can be the concrete move when I walk. It started in the dining room and has now moved throughout the apartment. The floor leans now and when a level is placed the bubble moves all the way to the side. Roaches come out of the carpet and I suspect they live in the cracks. The office staff doesn’t communicate with each other or the residents and I was told by the manager that because I pay cheaper rent, I must understand that these kind of structural problems happen in older buildings. I am afraid for my health and safety. Thank goodness I have money coming in January. My lawyer says I can get out.
We were really hopeful about living at the Weston with having so many people say it was a good area. From the beginning we had issues with them. They told us they had a two bed two bath for an amazing price so we said yes. Turned out to be a one room, one bath, and a small study. All they did to compensate us was give us two weeks free… TWO WEEKS! Then the issues just kept adding up. They turn off the water at random times without warning, we had bats in our hallway in doorways for over a week (which we notified the office about and nothing was done), the gate is always broken, and so many more. In the end, they promised to re-inverse us over $2000 for rent and they never gave us any of it. We tried calling the office and going into the office to talk to someone but no one would ever answer the phone and the office was always closed at the most random times. I try to only post positive things but this place deceived us and stole our money, so I wanted to warn others of the type of place this is. The apartments themselves are average, so do yourself a favor and find another place or else our experience could also be yours.
The worst apartment to live in, especially for college students and TMC workers. All we want is a quiet and clean place to rest after one busy day. 1. The home of roach, even after the additional pest control (they charge $5 each month for pest control) 1. The greedy and response manage team, all they want is to make more money 2. Poor security. All-time open gates and anyone can get in without the security checking. 3. Lost packages 4. Dirty and awful hallways, the hallways never clean. 5. Old and frustrated furniture. Wate leaking air condition.
Classic bait and switch, they have a nice model unit to show and say there are no significant differences between that and the units besides the size of rooms which is simply untrue. Walking into buildings the hallways are like a cheap motel with literally pee stains covering the floor with an odor to match. There are countless other places in the area that are much better and nicer for the exact same price. They clearly get most of their tenants from fooling and deceiving people. Steer clear!
Even though there is a “new management team” the way in which they treat their tenants is absolutely awful. Again, I was promised an apartment, but due to the incompetence and failure to be able to communicate between staff members I am not going to receive the apartment I was promised. Yes, I went ahead of time before my lease was up (1 month) and now I am in a bind once again. Find a different apartment complex, don’t come here at all if you can avoid it.

Filthy hallways. They only maintain the pool and building closest to the office to deceive new applicants. This place is absolutely disgusting. Most of the amenities are inoperable or unusable. The parking lots are full of trash. They do not maintain their facilities at all. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. possibly the worst management team out of any apartment complex in the USA.

Thanks for reaching out. We are sorry to hear that you're not enjoying your home here. Our team does our best to address all concerns of our residents. I lived here for one year (March 2020-2021), and as many people have mentioned, the management was slow at best and dismissive and/or unresponsive at worst. Horribly disorganized, and high staff turnover. Your security deposit is used to pay your last utility bill, which isn't specified in the lease. Maintenance was good regarding emergencies but everything else required multiple resubmissions of maintenance requests and emails (it took three requests and six months to get screens in my windowsills, and they had to "measure" twice, among other things). The courtesy officer didn't respond to my call until an hour+ later, and by then the noise had stopped. While the apartment had beautiful windows, there were many "cheap fix" solutions that made the place not worth the price. Misaligned outlets and toilet seat, cracks painted over, discolored cabinets, a large hole in one of the cabinets, mold in one of the backs of cabinets on move-in, non-functioning drain plugs, sloppily-applied paint, installation markings on kitchen and bathroom counters that couldn't be cleaned off. All but the toilet seat were ignored and closed in the maintenance requests. I had roaches drop from a hole in the (third-floor) ceiling while using the shower. Despite pest control coming out, it happened again, and I apparently wasn't allowed to close that hole for suspiciously vague reasons. Can't fault the complex for closing amenities during COVID but there was no unified plan for reopening. Never got to use the gym or anything. The building lost hot water for two weeks after the February 2021 freeze, and management basically told us to stuff it. The complex should be one star, but I gave it an extra one for the natural light and the location.
Once you are in contract, Managment slows down, very difficult to get your needs met. They will schedule appointments with you, be ready to wait

After being in my unit for 1 1/2 months my chest began to have a burning pain. I then found black mold coming from the air vent. I reported it and management had the ducts cleaned, carpet cleaned & my couch cleaned. Two days later the mold was worse on my couch. I began to investigate, I found mold EVERYWHERE, new dinette set, shoes, clothes, new mattresses Walls, fixtures. What Did I get from management...give a 30 day notice. So they expect us to pay rent even though we can’t live there. We had to leave it was so bad. Now we are being told we have a $4,000 balance But all my new stuff is ruined. New clothes & new furniture. We’ve contacted an attorney we’re having the mold tested and our urine is being tested for mold toxicity costing us more money and this company has offered no assistance but to take another unit on the same floor right down the hall not updated etc. Several lawyers want this case and they’re going to get it since this complex is still trying to get money from us.

All I have to say is my leasing agent Mary is truly the best I’ve had an amazing experience working with her, her communication with me was consistent informative and very professional. She’s also really funny in person and friendly. I was more than comfortable with her. She showed me the entire complex and I can say this is definitely my new home I love it!! It’s really safe and quiet here and the neighborhood is too! If you’re a single woman and live alone don’t worry you’re in good hands here at the Weston

Typos on emails are one thing. Not responding to calls in a timely fashion is another. Turning off the water on a regular basis without notification is a problem that frustrates many people. The worst part of living at Weston is that management is completely unresponsive. If you get someone to answer the phone— well done— however forget ever getting a call back, or getting your problem solved. Whether this call was asking management to hold a package for you, or respond to an emergency (say your fridge going out and a couple hundred dollars of food spoiling), or fixing an issue where you are being charged more than your lease specifies (literally every month- needing to talk to them and have them manually fix it- only for the same thing to happen again next month). I have enjoyed living at this complex. I have lived here for three years- and never had a SINGLE problem before Weston took over. The old management was responsive, professional, courteous to residents, and efficient. New management is anything but that. This review was my last card I was holding per se. This is a personnel issue, not an issue with the facilities. I will end with the fact that December the 22 the hot water was completely out in building 6. In three floors of apartments no one had hot water. We were informed that December 23 the issue would be resolved. It was not. December the 24, water was still freezing. Not a single email was sent informing us of any progress, nor were any phone calls or emails returned. I am sure we will also spend Christmas without hot water. Unacceptable. Management should replace personnel or conduct serious training if they wish for this apartment complex to continue being successful. I have waited to post this review and my roommate and I have spoken with workers directly over 6 times in the past couple months. Nothing has changed. Now I am posting this review to see if there will be any response from management or any changes. Raffling off flatscreen TVs for positive reviews will only go so far when you completely ignore the needs of residents and make tedious contact with workers the ONLY way to have issues resolved. I enjoy the space that the apartments offer, the apartments are clean, and I don’t have any issue with parking. There are benefits at this complex. But despite painting the buildings and adding to curb appeal, this apartment complex is down-sliding more and more. I am happy to talk to anyone about this review.
This apartment complex has been busy moving people back in after all the flooding from 2017. They have installed electronic locks on your doors, and they will offer to report your rent payments to the credit bureaus for $5 a month. The best part: they now allow other residents to tow your car and they call it the VIP EXPERIENCE. Seriously, this is a VIP perk to be a nasty neighbor? Someone parked in my reserved spot which I pay $15 a month for, two weeks ago. Mind you, there are plenty of vacant parking spaces around the complex, so I left a note and parked 20' away, NO BIG DEAL. I woke up the next morning to find my car had been towed by another resident. I parked in a spot right next to the entrance of the building in between the fire zone & bike rack and a boiler room. It is a small spot and I always felt that it was either a loading zone or something for a compact car (which my car is) and had been vacant for the 4 years I've lived here. Apparently they rented out the spot without looking at the physical location of it 4 months ago and I never noticed it. The man/boy that reserved the spot had my car towed when he got home, and the management told me this wasn't the first time he's towed someone from this awkward spot, in a 4 month time span! The property manager, Manny, promised to look into this and call me back. Two weeks later, crickets - nothing, and I'm out $300 because they allow their residents to play vigilante against each other. It's a terrible practice and now I'm completely uncomfortable walking back and forth to my car for fear I'm going to run into this guy and have some words with him. If you hate neighbors and want to be nasty to them, by all means move here, you can tow them, woo hoo!! Not responsive to anything unless you show up at the leasing office. Dismissive attitude. Terrible water pressure, water is constantly shut off for repairs so you can imagine the quality of the water. Litter, trash and leaves throughout the first floor hallways, except of course where the model apartment is. Dusty and moldy duct work that travels throughout the complex into your unit. I don't recommend anymore and can't wait to move in 2020.
Managment won't answer the phone. Infested with bugs even though we pay a pest control. Laundry room has been under construction for quite some time now so can't utilize is. If i could give a zero i would because it's been one of the worst living experiences I've had in renting apts.
Constant troubles with management. Reminds me of my childhood in USSR because water is shut off every week. Half of the laundry rooms not working for 2 months now, rest are crowded. The constant smell of weed in hallways. Extra charges for ~$300 suddenly appears over a sum in a freshly-signed lease contract.
I had to move into the apartments last minute. They offered me a pretty decent deal when I booked, however, with all the fees + utilities + electricity + apartment related bills it is actually above my budget. There are a lot of bugs. First there a lot of nats/fruit flies and I do not leave a lot of food out or it is dried/sealed. Now I am having a roach problem. I personally sprayed everything but still roaches every once in a while (I am thinking they may be in the walls or surrounding areas since it is next to a bayou). Everything was new when I moved in which was appealing, but I've noticed that the work is sloppy. Nothing is really aligned properly and the door doesn't fit the frame and there was a decent-sized crack. The front gate is a pain. 8/10 times it's not working and 2/10 there is a long line because the residents aren't used to using the gate. The front office isn't responsive at all through email. You'll have to go in person or over the phone, but it will probably take about 2 - 3 calls for any action or anything resolved. Leaving voice mails are useless, you need to make sure you reach a person. During my year here, I believe they've completely switched employees because none of the people I talked to seem to be there so there is often a lot of confusion because of that. For the first few months, there were a lot of emails about water being shut off for various reasons. For the location, the price isn't bad. However, for the price, I wish it was better.
The maintenance team is careless. They blow trash along with many other things onto my patio each time they “clean” the parking lots. I feel like everyone here has a mask on and it’s not what it seems. I was in love when I first moved in, I had my own patio area, new appliances and a pretty sweet move in deal. Then I realized things were wrong, my dishwasher has never worked since living here regardless of maintenance request after maintenance request. Baby roaches would crawl out of my cabinet even when I first moved in and had literally nothing in the apartment. Ants crawl from the walls occasionally falling from the ceiling onto you. When complained about they’ll spray and the bugs will be back within max 2 days. The floors have ALOT of water damage because the entire place was under water during Harvey. Water damage is seen through out apartments but they do a good job at hiding. Look closely before accepting apartment they give you. It’s around the corner from the sewage place and smells disgusting most days of the week. Cars are always getting broken into I get at least 1 message a week about it. There is a lot of criminal activity going on in the parking lots and strange men walking around. Washing clothes is only by card and they charge more than most laundry mats for their residents be careful I’ve had towels stolen. Your rent, add about 200 for God only knows what fees they’ll throw in monthly. That gift they promise when moving in will never come, those are empty boxes from years ago. Just don’t move here and if you do, you’re just a sucker in the offices eyes. Everyone in the office is fake and does not care. GOOD LUCK
After living here for a year, pleased to say I am renewing my lease! It's been a pleasure living in my renovated apartment that's conveniently located in the Medical Center and Rice Village, and is not that far from Downtown. Unlike some of the older reviews, I've had little to no issues during my time here. Like I said, I live in a renovated unit that is beautiful and houses me and my dog very nicely. Any times I've had issues requiring maintenance they were often in my apartment within 30-60 minutes of me calling, so that's a non-issue. My reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the sudden cancellation of the shuttle to the Med Center, which was initially a big contributor to my reason in choosing The Weston - I've since added many other reasons to my list. For clarification, I was not asked or bribed into writing a review, I actually felt compelled to do so to give the leasing agent MARK a HUGE SHOUT OUT! He's been absolutely phenomenal with me and has made my experience extremely positive, especially in regards to renewing my lease. Mark genuinely seems to have my best interest at heart and has been a pleasure to work with! Looking forward to another great year with The Weston!
I'll be moving out after living here for 4 years. The living conditions have plummeted since Hurricane Harvey to the point where the buildings towards the back of the complex are almost uninhabitable. The place smells like sewage, with roaches running rampant in the corridors and the apartment. Neighbors dump unsecured, wet trash right outside their doors, exacerbating the problem. The pipes in the buildings are so old that my ceiling has leaked twice in two weeks, dumping brown water on my carpets. The leasing office is friendly but incompetent. Internet cables are so old that the max speed any company can offer is 18 Mbps. I would definitely not recommend living here till they have thoroughly updated their apartments.
I applied and waited over a week and a half without any response on my application. The leasing office ignored multiple emails and phone calls. I finally got someone on the line to cancel my application and now they're disappeared again, ignoring emails and phone calls. They can't even fake caring when you're trying to apply, I can't even imagine how crappy their customer service will be when they lock you into a lease haha. I would suggest avoiding this place. They get an extra star cus the rooms looks ok but barely worth the $$ they're charging.
Recommend highly! I really enjoy living here. People here are friendly and service here is good too. The location is good and the places are clean too. highly recommend it!
There are some reasons for me to recommend Weston appartment for visitors, especially who come here with their children. The first one, Weston appartment locats at an area which has high quality education resources. Another one, it is safe and capacious. The third one, there are free rent months now. Welcome to join us. Highly recommend it!

The entire complex floods if there is any type of significant rain event. They flooded during the Tax Day floods in 2016, and during Harvey again in 2017. Whatever you do, DO NOT SIGN A LEASE FOR A FIRST FLOOR APARTMENT, and if it rains at all, make sure to park you car on the top floor of the parking garage. Aside from being impacted by Harvey and the flooding potential not being disclosed by the apartment complex, the office has high turnover (as most apartments do). Additionally, they were not very helpful with the move-in process.
PLEASE READ Before moving in this place!!!!! For starters, the place is old and outdated. It hasn't been renovated, it looks like they just paint over old and patch up what breaks. Here is a list of the most notable problems: -ROACHES (Thousands of roaches. Extremely unhealthy. Their pest control is a joke, they put small DOTS of paste where you can see, and that's how they treat the pest). And it doesn't matter that you remove items from cabinets, they just won't do nothing else but the little tiny dots of paste. -Dirty A/C vents. You will get exhausted of cleaning often because the dust won't stop accumulating. Beware with your allergies acting up! -Disgusting dirty carpets. The hallways seem to have the original carpet from the 80s. it stinks and it looks absolutely nasty. Add to this that when it flooded, they didn't replace the carpet in the second or third floor hallways, despite those carpets being soaking wet from all the stepping on by affected residents from downstairs (and remember, that was sewage water). -The apartments FLOODED, and they did not give residents from second floors the choice to leave or stay. It's been over a month, and the walls from the first floor apartments have not been taken down. The MOLD is notorious even from outside of the apartments. My windows have MOLD!!! And yet, I am required to stay, or else I'll be delinquent and charge a stupid fee, which should be waived given the circumstances. (Not to mention the horrible cough I developed from the mold). -Bad maintenance. They claim to fix your items, but they don't. -Laundry facilities are disgusting. There's lint all over the place and musty smell. The washer stretches your clothes, and the dryer burns them. And despite many emails, they never send someone to clean the places, which by the way are very small. In short, avoid yourself a horrendous time in this awful and dirty place, and find somewhere else. The couple of dollars you save here are not worth all you go through every day.

The service is terrible, when you have to repair something in your aparment the only thing that they do is a shoddy work. The water from the bath tube pipes come out dirty, muddy aspect and stinky. Is brown water. After the hurricane every stairs and halls smells like urine and mold. There is trash everywhere. There are air extractors everywhere to dry first floor aparments and you can not sleep because is very noise. The air extractors are turning on since two weeks ago and they are going to stay the same during three weeks more during the full day and they told me that they can not do anything. Every time that rain the condominio floods. Please,

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. It's been two weeks since the hurricane and we still don't have hot water. Technically apartments of the third and second floor are not flooded and they're dry but the situation is unbearable. Mold and piles of trash are everywhere it's an unhygienic place for kids and those who have asthma like my roommate. they're not letting us terminate the lease even if our health is at risk.

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, our apartment community was not spared from damage from Hurricane Harvey. Please be assured that we are doing all we can to restore our community to its previous state. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience during this difficult time.
I lived here from 2014-2016 and I'm so glad I left. Continuous water and plumbing issues, floods every time there is a heavy rainstorm (had my car totaled at this complex in 2015), and something is always broken. My only two stars was that my apartment thankfully never flooded when I was there and it was relatively quiet, people kept to themselves. Word to the wise- DO NOT LIVE HERE, especially the first floor. Right now all first floor units are underwater from the flood. Management: it would be easier to completely raze this old complex and rebuild a new and taller complex instead of churning money into this deteriorating dump hole, saving headaches for everyone involved.
Overpriced for no washer and dryer in the apartment in unit and for how old everything is. Gives hardly any notice when spraying for bugs and making you removed everything from your cabinets. The maintenance men are friendly, but their scheduling system is not good. You never know when they will come and it is usually 2 weeks. You can't plan anything, if you want to be home while they are fixing something. Washer and dryers are often broken. And not good for those who need an elevator, because that is broken more than it actually works. The gate codes never work when you want to let friends in. Only good thing are that there is a bus to the medical center, concierge staff are nice when getting packages, close to rice village and they have a newer fitness center that isn't too bad (before it was a joke).
This is the first negative review I write. The only 2 things I look for in an apartment are being able to sleep well and living in a secure place. The place looks nice on the outside. And I really don't mind the low ceilings, the beating of the cabinet doors against the cabinet when someone turns their AC on, etc. Customer service is generally good and I've seen only 2 roaches this year. The gate is always open and a stranger was going around checking doorknobs the other day. I would not recommend living here if you are a Cancer patient needing to rest, a resident, or a night owl. At least not for now. I wish I could upload the noise that we've been put through every morning for the past week. This weekend they woke us up at 7am both Saturday and Sunday. They are always working on something noisy early on the weekends. It's really miserable. I had to leave the complex and ask someone to let me sleep in their place. I can barely get 5 hours a day and today nails, hammers, boots, and some kind of gigantic landmower which was shaking the whole building woke me up before my last hour. It is impossible to sleep like this. I even wonder what kind of dust we are breathing because the men on the roof are wearing masks. The neighbors have sent emails to the leasing office to move the timing of the repairs, but they have not received a response as I understand.
