Property Ratings at Westpark Apartments And Townhomes
I've lived here for 6 years and I love it. I have felt that management has been very responsive whenever I have had an issue arise within my apartment. They are on top of yearly battery replacements in the fire alarms as well as replacing the air filters. They've updated the units to have google nests in them for more efficient air control. I have never felt the office/management has been rude or disrespectful when we've communicated. Overall, they have been very helpful and accommodating in my 6 years living here! As for the units themselves, I live in a 1 bedroom 830 sqft garden apartment with a balcony and fireplace. The only complaints I'll give about my specific apartment is that I feel there is no insulation in the walls. It gets very cold in the winter and hot in the summer. But the fireplace helps during the winter! The cabinetry isn't updated but I have wood vinyl flooring in the kitchen which makes it feel upgraded and nice. I have a small laundry room and small storage room within my apartment which is a HUGE bonus that you won't find other places. Overall, I would recommend this place to friends who are moving to the area!

I've never experienced the type of treatment I received, from a property manager like this before in my life. Read the reviews people before you rent, everybody can't be lying about the same person. Oh and don't expect any better treatment from the owner's office staff either. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone, due to the property manager, and the outdatedness of the apartments.

While the floor plans are nicely laid out and the amenities are there, especially in the newer additions, we have come to find them lacking. We have wound up with water in various places that haven't been fully addressed (kitchen sink that was "looked at" twice, outside walls when it rains, and overflow from an improperly maintained AC unit). Parking in the newer section seems to be a competition unless you are willing to rent a covered spot. Good luck if you have more than one vehicle. And annual increases in rent seem to outpace wages. After several years here, we can no longer justify staying any longer.

Visited the leasing office twice during my work lunch hour today. At 12:10 the door was locked with a sign on the office door saying they were out showing apartments, but I could hear people inside the office chatting and laughing like coworkers do during their lunch hour and I knocked with no answer and there was not even a pause at the chatter with my knocking.. There was no doubt it was coming from inside the office (no windows though) came back at 12:45, the sign was still up and there was a patient tenant standing outside the door saying it was locked. I checked and you could still hear them talking inside.. It was rainy outside and by all means the grounds are not that big or busy at all. If they aren’t serious about renting a place to potential renters or are in disregard of current tenants that come during their lunch hour, then that is a bad sign of things to come. At least list your office hours are closed during lunch.. It looks like the positive reviews I’ve seen of the place were written by someone that works there (I can’t imagine someone calling this place “the best place ever” by any stretch of the imagination). I’m sorry I wasted my lunch hour from work today trying to visit people who were too busy taking a break. At least post your office hours are closed from 12-1 or be less discreet if you are actually there and avoiding people during your break.
Terrible place to live in. It is unsafe. Management is very rude. There are people in the office being replaced everyday. Maintenance is very slow and non responsive at times. For extra few dollars I would recommend looking somewhere else where it is safe and things get fixed on time.
My family and I have been here for 6 months and have had serious mold issues in the bedrooms. They have not taken care of the problem besides just treating the mold inside and painting over it. It also floods our small patio due to a poor drainage layout. Many other tenants have talked about them having mold in their apts as well. It has made us all sick due to allergies to mold. Dishwasher needed to be replaced, stove elements were not wired properly, closet doors keep coming off track and the sliding glass door is not set properly causing mold as well. I would not recommend living here. Also could hardly use the pool all summer, the pump was not turned on so the pool was dirty a lot of the time. They never put up the net for the tennis court so that was also disappointing.
Loved the layout. Me and my boyfriend really appreciated the friendly and welcoming leasing agent. We are definitely considering Park Commons for our next home.
I really enjoy my 2 bedroom apartment at Westpark Apartments. I'm surrounded by lots of trees and green grass and sometimes feel I'm in the middle of a park. It is a quiet restful respite after a day at the office. The area is convenient for shopping and work. The airport and major highways are close by for traveling. The area was hit by a horrendous wind and hail storm several years ago so the buildings all received a major redo from top to bottom. The complex is well kept and the office and maintenance staff are friendly and helpful. Singles and families are welcome along with pets.
