National publications constantly place Pittsburgh near the top of the list for most livable cities in America, and it’s easy to see why. The city has a rich history as an industrial and economic hub, which led to the construction of many grand buildings and public sculptures which still stand today. Downtown in particular is rich with beautifully preserved buildings and lush public parks dating back well over a century, giving the entire community a timeless atmosphere.
Pittsburgh is split into three sections by the rivers passing through the city: Downtown (a.k.a. “The Golden Triangle), the North Side, and the South Side. Each has its fair share of attractions and landmarks: the North Side is home to Acrisure Stadium and PNC Park (making it a perfect area for sports fans), the South Side features big, beautiful greenways and refurbished steel mills, and Downtown is where you’ll find the most variety in dining, nightlife, and entertainment.

I'm sorry that you felt that the charges where higher than in other apartments. We use a pricing system that help keep rent competitive in our area. All of our prices can be seen on the website, while on tour you are provided all pricing and information and our lease even has 2 pages just explaining fees, to make them all easy to understand.
i would like to share my bitter and bad experience with wespointe Apartment homes when we visited the leasing office for a discussion of the moving out damaging dispute the behavior of the property manager was very disrespectful & bitter and unethical. I moved here we pointed in 2018 here First issue was apartment roof was leaking and water was coming from the roof we reported this issue many times but it took a long time to fix it and water damaged our belongings and 2nd They charged $964 for 2 stains on the carpet but 1 stain was not due to us. we had noise complaints from other residents and we spent the whole winter almost 5 Months with an annoying noise issue we did report this issue to management so many times and did wait for the issue will be resolved but this management did not do anything to resolve the issue and last option was for us to leave the apartment that is very disappointing poor management. Normally everywhere trash and water and amenities are included in rent but they are charged separately for all of these. I am sorry to say that I would definitely not recommend this place to live.
The facility was recently purchased and appears to be making renovations. However the current status of the buildings is unacceptable. The hallways have an odor to them. We had bugs coming up from the shower drain, we submitted a maintenance request and received a phone call saying to just pour bleach down the drain and no one ever came. Also when you get your notice about renewing the verbiage is meant to confuse you. It appears as if you don't need to do anything and your lease will expire, however the lease says you need to give a 60 day notice. Make sure you inform them you are leaving. They tried to pull it on us and we had to get the remaining months settled with a creditor. Lastly, to top it all off the dryer caught on fire the last week we were there. They are making changes to the property however given the status the building was in 6 months ago they just tried to squeeze every penny out from us.
If you like living with bugs and mold and gross smells this place is for you. Even with the “renovations” don’t be fooled this propery is horrible
Don’t live here! Apartment complex is covered in mold and old appliances. Everything is old and dirty. Everyone is unhappy and is moving out. They are attempting to paint over mold because I threatened to call health department. I have plenty of emails complaining about mold and broken appliances and nothing was done.
Black mold in the hallway, roof leaks, ceiling's falling down, soggy carpet, moth ball smell from refrigerator, locked out due to failed key card system, room smells like garbage. What else could you ask for? Oh and no where to park at night!

We are sorry to hear of these concerns. Please contact the Property Manager at (412) 787-7611 so we can discuss further. Thanks.
Great place to live when you work in or around Robinson, especially if you work at the mall as its in your backyard! Negatives: The common areas are dirty & hallways typically have a strong odor (they allow smokers and pets). Positives: location is great, typically its very quiet you can't hear your neighbors, management is very friendly.
This apartment is in the perfect location. The people seem very pleasant.
My husband and I moved here almost 3 years ago. It had a bad reputation at one point in time, but the area has since been cleaned out and renovated. They had recently done "upgrades" (new carpet, "new" appliances & cabinets) causing the rent to be higher, though the upgrades weren't later than the 1980s. We had a roommate for a while making the apartment more affordable so we weren't concerned about the severely outdated upgrades at the time. When my husband lost his job, their no-fear lease policy helped us out of a potentially terrible situation. The office staff is always friendly and helpful with anything you need. You can submit service requests and pay rent online, which are very helpful. You can set up text alerts for your cell phone (does not have to be a smartphone) to pay rent as well as emergency notifications. They have emergency maintenance numbers that you can call if something goes wrong after the leasing office is closed. Maintenance lives on-site so they're available 24-7. The property has a snow plow and maintenance takes care of the lots and sidewalks, though we've noticed this has been a bit lax in the last 2 years as though the budget has been cut. That doesn't help much because you have to go up a large hill to get out of the complex, which is difficult if it's covered in snow and ice. The location is amazing for shopping and eating out. I wouldn't recommend walking around these parts too much as it is not a pedestrian friendly area, though you can walk to practically anywhere around here. It is mostly quiet around here and we don't have any issues with other people that live here, except for when your neighbors are running water. It is very loud coming through the pipes. Everybody mostly keeps to themselves. The leasing office throws events to bring the community together such as pool parties in the summer, Christmas brunch before the holidays, etc. There is a large, furnished party room available for your personal events that is free. Children over the age of 1 have to have their own room. I don't know if you can put multiple children in one room together, but I would assume that's the case or you may have to purchase an apartment with additional rooms if you have children. The local school district is decent and very close by. They love having free roaming pets here, though that also costs extra (caged pets are free). You pay a deposit up front and extra rent each month, but considering the damage that pets can cause, it may be worth it to some people. One of the buildings is used by PTI for student housing so there are college students living nearby, but they also keep to themselves and usually do not cause problems. After the first year we lived here, they did not do an apartment inspection and our rent didn't go up. However, after the second year, they decided to reinstate the inspections and jacked our rent up to make up for the last year. We do not feel that our apartment with the condition it's in (three years of wear and tear) as well as the fact that there is no central air or heat (electric is part of the package you pay for so we have a pretty hefty bill in the warmer months) is worth the price we're currently paying month to month and we anticipate an increase in rent for the coming year. For those reasons, we're seeking cheaper options in 2013. It isn't our own home, but we really do like it here and have mostly enjoyed our experience living here. Our apartment is very, very spacious for two people and the closet space is unmatched by any other complex in the area. We would recommend this complex to others.
