Property Ratings at Westport Crossing Apartments
They focus more about who's dog poop is who's and expired tags, than they do about the car breaks every week. How do you have enough time to go and check everyone's tags but can't find the time to ensure our vehicles are safe. Rent is increasing and no surveillance is being added, apartments are not updated do not believe the hype. So if you want your car(s) broken into every week, or windows busted this is the perfect place for you. They would rather put you out and have your car towed instead of being decent human beings and hearing someone out and being understanding.
I definitely can not wait til my lease is up and move. There is constant noise with the thin walls, You hear music, people and arguments it’s so disturbing can’t even sleep. Minimum Spaces to park. Pool was closed OR green alll summer. Maintenance is not the best either
This has been the worst rental experience of my life. There is constant noise from neighbors all day and night. We literally get no sleep due to constant noise. Management does nothing about it. Apartment looks nothing like the pictures, definitely not the square footage that they claim it is, parking is terrible, paper thin walls and ceilings so you hear every little thing. Things constantly break. I do not recommend this apartment to anyone. I rate this place a 0 out of 10.
I moved here from Houston for work I didn't know anything about areas in this city just look for something close to work it was the worst decision it's a horrible insecurity twice they tried to break the door of my apt then they broke the glass of my car and they they stole everything I had in it I was never able to communicate with anyone from the offices then a few days later they stole my car from the parking lot there is no security here they do and past everything there are no cameras there is always a drama police ambulances scandals, the only good thing is that when you need maintenance the boys come right away and they are very kind, I need to deliver this apt I don't feel safe here I'm scared it's horrible also when there's snow they never clean the stairs.
All summer the pool was green and only cleaned once or twice. The laundry room window is always busted out and the room itself is very dirty plus has mold growing on the walls and floor. There are also always police at the complex due to domestic violence and other issues. Getting in touch with management is also horrible, no one will call you back for weeks at a time and no one is in the leasing since I moved in 6 months ago. My move in date was also pushed back originally without anyone reaching out to me, I was told I'd receive a prorate by the property manager and never did. Anytime I asked about it or reached out she said she never said that or ignored me until I stopped bringing it up. The pushed back move in day I had to wait over an hour for someone to bring the keys to unit after the property manager also said the keys would be available at a specific time. I had to call her a few times but she never answered and had to make an emergency maintenance request to get my keys. No one did a maintenance walk through with me either upon move in so I made sure to take pictures of all prior damage to my move in and email it to management but never got a response either. Non responsive management, very unhygienic upkeep of amenities and constant police visits to this apartment!
Nice , Quiet neighborhood . The only issue is getting in touch with people in the main office , maintenance isn’t horrible … so my baby dropped his Jordan’s outside and it was still there the next day so I believe that says a lot lol . I plan on getting a bigger place here next year !
This is my first apartment and I love it no complaints. Definitely will see myself living here for a while !
Quiet but can’t get in touch with nobody that works there. My townhouse wasn’t fully ready for move in and it was the wrong townhouse. The townhouse had mold, the oven wasn’t cleaned nor the pantry, there were holes in the floor and walls. I just wouldn’t recommend
My 3rd year here and Cedric came in and left he is a remarkable person and he helps you but is also very firm his voice is pleasant anytime you text or call him he makes sure he gets back with you ASAP I wish he was here a Little longer I know he would’ve made great changes and great property manager to this apartment complex thank you a lot
I can't really speak to the property itself, because I was never able to have a tour. After several reschedules agents missed TWO virtual appointments I scheduled. This is especially frustrating since I had to take time off of work to make these appointments. Very unprofessional and a huge waste of my time and energy.
This is my third year at Westport Crossing, and I’m just about over it. Management sucks. You can never get anyone over the phone. Since COVID-19, they’ve taken full advantage, now you can no longer walk into the office. No one considers “emergency maintenance” a true emergency. My furnace leaked, I was told to turn it off, which meant NO AIR, and open windows! Walls are super thin. Parking is extremely horrible.
Love all the improvements being made to the property. so happy to know Stacey and Jackie are back.It was great walking in the office and seeing them! Westport crossing is a great place to live.
Incredibly thin walls. I've been woken up every day since moving in between the hours of midnight and 3am. I hear footsteps, conversations, children, things falling on the floor. Twice in the 1 and a half I've been there, sex has woken me out of my sleep. I have to wake up at 5 am for work so you can understand how frustrating this is. My kid will be moving in within a few weeks after I've finalized his school transfer and I'm horrified at the thought of him being woken up every night. Cant relax in a natural hot bath because the water only stays hot for 2 minutes. The only bath I've take resulted in me boiling 4 pots of water to mix in with the cold its put out. I so hope we don't freeze during the winter. Honestly having to pay full rent per remaining months of your lease if an early release is requested is outrageous but that is the only reason I'm going to stick it out. Don't have an extra 7500$ to waste on a place that's already shown the potential to give me gray hair. Good luck Maybe you'll have thicker walls, quieter neighbors, and hot water. Well atleast a good 10 minutes of hot water for a decent shower.
I have lived here for many years, it's very quiet and a very nice place to live. Management and maintenance does a great job. I enjoy living here.
The workers and leasing office is terrible but the apartment is nice. Can't get a maintenance person after hours to save your life. Been waiting all morning for someone to flip a switch in my fuse box. In the meantime my food in my refrigerator is going bad. Ugh! Hate this place.
The current apartment I am in has had a little bit of complications but the management is wonderful and has helped us with every problem we have had so far. The apartment is very spacious. Neighbors can be a little loud at times but that comes with living in apartments. The neighborhood is wonderful. Everyone with management and maintance are very nice. I feel right at home.
Very small over priced not enough entertainment bad location very noisy
