Property Ratings at Westward Heights
Management told me they were "too busy handling complaints" to notify residents that they had changed rent payment methods and had a problem with their online payment portal that disabled an autopay that had been set up for 5 years. They were NOT too busy to fill out and post dozens of eviction notices caused by their error. The following month it became clear that credit union autopays are permanently disabled leaving only money orders or credit card payments for a 4% FEE. The office does not even take payments and everything must be done through a phone app as management does not trust them with money. They have the Valet Living trash service but observe none of the rules and I regularly have to walk around the neighbor's trash or where the animals got into it over the weekend as the service is Mon-Thur (at best and if they show at all). There are many more issues but these are the straws that broke it for me.

Hello, We deeply apologize for your experience. It seems like you are disappointed, and we would love to hear more about where we fell short. Please reach out to our team at your earliest convenience.
New management, went downhill fast. The pool is green and dog poop is piled everywhere. The office staff took it upon the self’s to enter my apartment without notice or permission to check on my rent (late) and when I told her she had no right and was being rude her response was “I don’t need to be nice if you don’t pay your rent” I was happy here with the old management but the new one has made living here more of a hassle everyday.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Westward Heights. We understand how much you enjoy our amenities and we do work hard maintaining them for you. The on-site team is also doing a difficult job collecting rents. If you are behind please call or stop by leasing office so that we can help you with rental assistances.
My apartment has now flooded 2 times both times I had to deal with industrial fans and dehumidifiers running 24/7 throughout my house for more than a week. Property management has responded poorly and every time I walk into the office it’s a new face that can hold a leasing agent for more then a month. Dog poop is littered all through the complex and the property does nothing on top of owners who don’t pick up after them selfs but when it comes to having an issue good luck getting something from the property management

I’ve read in other reviews about poor communication, and that’s 100% correct. Also, this is the second snow storm this year they’ve done nothing to clear the pathways or even the parking lot so now even the “covered” parking spots aren’t going anywhere.

terrible communication with front office and maintenance staff. we moved in earlier this month (feb) and nothing has been fixed and no timeframe on when things are going to get fixed. two different maintenance staff members have shown up with no help to solve our issues here. I am terribly dissatisfied with our experience so far living here at Westward Heights and hope that the leasing office staff can change things
i work late nights so its great that the complex is very well lite so i can walk my dog. the staff is very friendly and they keep the grounds very nice.
i really enjoy living here. The complex is very well lite considering i leave for work in the middle of the night. I need to walk my dog before i leave and i feel safe doing so. the maintance team is very friendly when you see them they greet you. My unit is very quiet and they keep it very clean.
The response to service issues has been excellent. I have had 2 recent repair issues in the last 30 days or so, after years of no problems. Service arrived in very short order, even surprising fast. The repairs were even quicker

Im actually not that happy living here. The rent is high. My daughters car was stolen and both mine and her cars have been broken into. There isnt enough parking and to rent a carport is additional to already high rent. I have come to appreciate the two main people in the office Toni and Mario.

These are the worst apartments I have ever lived in. I have lived in a few different apartments, and have lived here for 4 years, now eagerly awaiting the end of our lease. These are the worst apartments I have been at, and they are now way overpricing it in ways I hope anyone could see as stupidly gentrified, and not worth the money. In these 4 years, they have changed management half a dozen times, each one with a new and worse external renovation, a new online payment system that inevitably made our rent late, and all sorts of intrusive inspections. They're trying to sell to new market which explains the insane increases in rent. They recently got rid of the basketball hoops to replace them with a concrete corn hole but renovations have taken 6 months. Save your money, you can find way better apartments than these ones. All in all scheisty. - Between maintenance problems, the fact you won't know when they actually show up except that it won't be promptly, inspections- both apartment and city mandated, you will not have privacy. - I had my car wrongly towed because they did not correctly designate parking spaces so that their towing company knows the difference between a parking spot and the fire lane, for which I was reimbursed (though not for the day of work I had to take off), but they still have not repainted the curb, instead issuing only a backhanded letter to all residents about parking in fire lanes. - They are now charging people for car ports so now everyone is basically parking on the street, making it dangerous to even turn out onto 103rd most times, there is basically no parking past 6 pm. - Valet trash sucks and you pay extra for it with the new management - Don't take care of their dog park and facilities - The location is pretty bad too - For what you pay, you should get a year round pool, a full fitness center, and other perks, but instead you have a hot tub that hasn't been open forever, a pool that we were told was heated but definitely was not, and a very sub par fitness center. - Water pressure is so low you can't even brush your teeth, "city mandates" mhmm I would not recommend these scam apartments to anyone
Moved in almost a year ago and everything has been great. Apartments are spacious and great for my family. All Staff are wonderful and very helpful with any questions or concerns we may have. Love the paths around the buildings and the park/grass areas for my kids.
This is an older building. Not a great neighborhood, abandoned shopping carts around. The rent is about the lowest you're going to find for a decent place. I pay $1000 month for a one bedroom so that is about the best you will find in this skyrocketing Denver market. Office people have been nice and maintenance very good. A/C is built in unit like a hotel room. Heat goes from too cold to hot in minutes. I have lived here almost two years and am content but if I can make more money I will definitely move.
We love our apartments. Great staff anytime we need anything they are there Asap. When we needed a first floor due to my illness and not being able to walk stairs anymore they did not hesitate to help. Will recommend to all my friends. Has great dog park if you have furry friends and lots of grass and great pool.
I have been living here for 10 months and I like it here. Nice neighbors, great landscape, and close to major streets like Federal Blvd and grocery stores and restaurants and Starbucks coffee. I have good neighbors and the pool is soothing. My only complaint is the strict rules about having guests come over.
