The apartment doesn’t look nothing like the pictures, they are not Renewed at all.they pressure you to move but they don’t got nothing finished. They ac leaks, the stove are old and nasty and a lot of others things I don’t not recommend moving here.
The management there seems dysfunctional at times. KG, the manager, is nice but I don’t think she should be running it. The “24 hour” maintenance is false. We had a window bust out and we had so many issues to get it fixed. First off the maintenance number takes forever to get in touch with and when I did it was the guys sister. Then he said it would have to wait till morning. Ok no problem. Morning came and nothing happened. Afternoon came still nothing. I went to the office to ask what gives and was met with oh I don’t know what’s the status. It’s your business you should know. Then I was told I need to put in a request. So another day goes by and I write a request just to be told they did. Awesome. Should be getting fixed that day. Nope! We waited a total of 5 days for the window to be replaced. The maintenance team seems inadequate for the premises. The pool is in horrible condition and the apartment sign is partially destroyed. Yes they are updating it and it takes time but appearances are not everything

I have been the Manager here for 20 years and my office staff are awesome. I do not have a big turnover with my employees. We do have 24 hour maintenance and they take care of everything as fast as they can. As far as the window it has to be measured and ordered if not in stock. The pool is cleaned every other day during the winter months and everyday during the summer. I'm very proud of Westwinds and the staff and love and respect the residents that live here.
About 2 years ago was when I moved out of these apartments. 2 weeks after that they sent a letter to my new home saying that I owe almost $1000 of fees that there was damage in walls and stains and moving out early fee whatsoever . It was all lies and they failed to show me the room they just said they had pictures. Ok whatever just so I can make them happy and not try to ruin my credit I came to an agreement to pay them off in payments and in 3 weeks I paid them off . Now all of a sudden my credit scores got screwed over and saying that I owe $500 and they sent it to a debt collector !! This was 2 years ago since I moved out of the place never received a letter in the mail that I owe anything and I came to an agreement to pay them off and now this ! 2 years later and they still want more money from me. This is ridiculous!

We always take pictures of move outs and have the move out reconciliation to look back on so as you are not charged for something that had been listed on the form. We have no reason to lie about damages to the apartment or early move out violations. Pictures tell all and your lease specifically states all information on an early move outs. If there has been a mistake on our part then we need to know about it so this can be resolved. Posting a bad review is not fixing the situation, not contacting us is not fixing the situation. Apartments are older, built in 1980 I believe. As a result they are somewhat dated. However, my apartment was clean on arrival. Compared to the rest of the market the prices are very reasonable. Living in a studio apartment the utilities are very affordable. In the seven months I have lived here I have not seen any bugs. Neighbors stay to themselves and have not had any issues with noise or disruptions. Had a few minor issues with the AC when I first moved in but they were fixed immediately. I previously lived in a so called luxury apartment, paying over twice of what I’m paying now. I can say the managment of this complex is much more attentive and reliable. If you are looking for a lower priced alternative I would recommend.

Thank you for the good review. We will do everything we can to make our apartments a safe, comfortable place to call home. We realize not everyone works the oilfield so I do my best to keep the rents close to market value but affordable as well. We consider everyone family here.
Westwinds is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. The maintenance department is very rude and gives little priority to the tenants living there. The 24 hour emergency maintenance is a hoax. If something breaks in the apartment, they will fix it whenever they feel like it regardless of how important it may be. Even though they claim that they exterminate regularly, our apartment was still filled with bugs. Avoid this place at all costs.

Westwinds has a very dedicated staff in the office and maintenance. The 24 hour emergency maintenance is not a hoax and I have a very good pest management company that comes in twice a week to spray units. If there is a issue with bugs then we post letters to all residents letting them know that there will be a total clean out and all residents need to empty cabinets. i have no doubt this bad review was from a resident that was evicted for not paying rent.
