Westwood Apartments

There is an infestation of roaches here. My biggest complaint. Maintenance is great. The office is friendly but these roaches are why I'm giving 2 stars. I pay for my own pest control and have tried everything. I am not renewing my lease as rent keeps going up on top of it.

I’ve been living here now for almost two months and I absolutely love my unit. I have a renovated unit with all black appliances (no issues with any of them and they were brand new) and I love how bright and open my living room is! I decorated with whites and greys to complement the design of my apartment. I love how it has a bunch of windows so I don’t have to use any lights during the day. And I love the floors (not carpeted except in the bedroom) No issues upon moving in. No roaches/other bugs or issues with things not working. It was VERY clean. The only issue I had was no door stoppers, but maintenance came and provided some immediately. Also my bathroom door wasn’t closing all the way, but that was a small fix as well. Otherwise everything else was perfect Lastly, I love how clean they keep the outside area of the property. Anytime I see any trash or debris it’s gone the next day. They are constantly working to keep our home clean and I appreciate that so much (coming from my previous apartments that were always trashed). I love all the trees surrounding the apartments. Makes me feel like a fairy living in an enchanted Forrest lol. Also. I love the ladies in the rent office! Carmen and Patricia are always so kind and friendly to me! Love seeing them when I come in to get a package. I could say more, but basically my home here at Westwood is perfect. It’s quiet, clean and peaceful. I am beyond happy that I choose to say here! The only bad thing I can say is I wish there was more than one garbage compactor and more than one pool (hence why I’m leaving 4 stars instead of 5) but otherwise very happy so far!

I recommend it because it was clean which is big plus for me.

Neighbors blast bass music at all hours. People race in the exit all the time almost causing accidents.

This community is well kept and very informative. Security is on hand especially when the gates are not working properly due to residents or other guest damaging them. I must say, living here has made me feel safe!

The apartment community doesn't give the people who may have a wrong in the past a chance to make it right based on their past many people are a product of their environment until they are able to leave that environment give these people the chance to become a vital part of society and not jus judge them from their past and not give them a better future mistakes happen to everyone others sometime don’t get a chance to correct them......

Worst complex ever. My boyfriend was carjacked at gunpoint at the facilities. Management deactivated both of our gate keys when I called and asked them to deactivate his key that was stolen. I was locked out of the complex in the dark, 20 yards from the incident FEARING for my life. Nobody returned my phone calls, the manager finally got around to calling me back and reprimanded me for raising my voice..... gate has also been broken now for 3 months. They won’t let us out of our lease or release rent verification to the new home we want to move into. DO NOT MOVE HERE

the apartments and grounds are kept up the staff is very friendly

Been at Deerfield and it is the best place on rhe westside.

Great community, quiet environment, numerous of outside activities to choose from.

urban but suburban almost rural. Enjoy that. Don't like secure gate never stays fixed long enough to be effective. Got tagged by kids that took over our balcony and steps last Saturday afternoon. Also, people taking advantage of going in and out the wrong way becoming more than problematic.

In a good location and exceptionally well-run for this area. Helpful and dependable staff. Quiet, peaceful neighbors.

Apartments look nice and clean. Very rural and safe looking area. Beautiful pool, lake, and gym. Friendly staff.

A place to feel safe ,nice and quite away from traffic close to stores and eating places,also a place for young families.

My only concern is the entrance gates break pretty regular! And someone rifled thru my belongings in my car one night!

Its a little smaller than I expected for the price,but overall its a great and safe place to live

We have lived here for 2 years and absolutely love it! The property manager, Brenda, is dedicated to always improving the property. Rent is totally worth it! Gino, the maintenance man, is the best! He's quick to help and always goes above and beyond. The layouts have a little area behind the living room and it makes the perfect playroom!

I would recommend because it's a quiet neighborhood and it appears to be safe.

I've only been here for a month and so far it's been really pleasant.

A working entry and exit gate and a trash compactor at the dumpster are two major reasons for living here. The grounds are well kept and attractive and we have quiet neighbors.

Decent price, quiet area, and if the front gate worked it would provide security

Apartment size for money. Ammenities. Natural landscaping gives that away feeling

It's a good community because everything you need is right around the area.

This apartment complex has excellent rating coming from me , especially the Assistant Manager Porsha. She went beyond the call of duty to make my move in as comfortable as possible. Also, in a timely matter. Thanks again Deerfield Staff

NICE PLACE WERE I FEEL SAFE AT. DOES HAVE A NICE POOL. THEY ARE WELL MAINTAINED AND HAVE GREAT STAFF, LOUNGE CHAIRS AND DINING TABLES WITH A GYM AND A NICE GRILL FOR PARTIES.

Dearfield apartment provides a safe ( gated entrance)surround botanical area with a pool,exerciser room,playground,small pond, new wash area's. Several residence have been here over twelve years. The residence are amicable( mind their own business)but watch out for each others apartments .we have on ground security. Maintinence response rapidly.the office staff provide a yearly Cook out residence( we get to know each other) feel secure and at home.

Overall my experience in his ment complex is better than other places I've lived. I've encountered a lot of problems while living here but they try their best to work with me on getting things taken care of

It's 945 sq ft, 2 br, 2bath. We lost our home and now we live here with 400 sq ft less then what we're used too so it's a little small. This would be a blessing in its self. It's a nice place to live.

I have lived here for 2 years. Quiet, gated complex with nice amenities. Staff is great, including maintenance. They know who their tenants are. Apartments are roomy with a 1 BR at 774 SF.

Living at Deerfield is living in a city and wildlife sanctuary I live among lizards,snakes,butterflies,woodpeckers,a owl, fish ducks geese, squirrels cats ,dogs toads and frogs ,bees gnats mosquitos Unreal but true Pool,pond,gym nice apt love the layout clean retired from Philadelphia 2 years ago
