Located about 17 miles west of Oklahoma City, Yukon offers residents a tranquil small-town atmosphere and a rich history. The city is best known for its vibrant annual Oklahoma Czech Festival, in addition to being country music superstar Garth Brooks’ hometown. Yukon’s Czech roots are also on display year-round at the Yukon Historical Museum.
Route 66 runs through the city’s center, lined with a bevy of antique shops, independent boutiques, and assorted eateries. National retailers are largely clustered on either side of I-40, which runs through the southern portion of Yukon. Recreational opportunities abound, with convenient access to Chisholm Trail Park, Route 66 Park, Lake Overholser Park, and the North Canadian River.

Property Ratings at Whitehorse Apartments
My AC hasn't worked in two years. Its 80 degrees in my apartment despite the $270 electric bill because the unit runs non stop, it just doesn't work. Currently trying to obtain a copy of the last years lease because they have made up obnoxious fees that I never agreed to. They also wont help you do anything, weather its repair your apt or reset you log in, you are on your own. If you can even get a response. Just don't.
Well maintained, older apartment with new appliances. Reasonable rent for the area, they sprayed for bugs frequently and I never had a problem. Maintenance on site and extremely reliable and friendly. A lot of the people who live there have lived there a long time. I would certainly recommend this apartment.
Was nice place to rent. Whatever I needed maintenance wise was addressed right away Recently had to move out of state received my deposit back. Real nice neighbors and managers

Great location and facilities. It's quiet and maintained very well. Responsive on-site manager who keeps things in order and good maintenance staff on-site as well. Best place in Yukon to rent.

Thank you for your wonderful comments. I will share with our team. We are so happy to have you here at Whitehorse.
I found this place online & everything seemed ok. I talked to management & everything seemed like this place would work out for me & my son. I was rushed into signing a lease before being able to inspect it, but they seemed kind, so I trusted it would be ok. As soon as I was able to enter the apartment, I was hit by a wave of cigarette smoke and mold odor. For months, I tried to get this resolved with no success. My son was not able to live with me due to the conditions in the apartment, and most days, I could not live in the apartment. This place tore my family apart. I had no option but to end my lease early. Management did agree with it. I was homeless, with nowhere to go and nowhere to place my belongings. I suffered hard from this place and still am, and now, they have sent my account to collections despite knowing the situation they put me in. I would not advise living here to anyone, I am sorry.

Whitehorse strives to meet the needs of every tenant and we feel that we have done that very successfully. This was really an unfortunate situation for both of us. We advised and made it so that all personal items could have been picked up at your convenience, however no action was taken and have since been donated. We wish you luck in finding the home that will fulfil the needs of you and your son.
You can hear every tiny step, move, creak, the person upstairs makes, if your upstairs neighbor has a grill, well now you got a grill on your front porch because theyre not allowed to keep them on the second level. When i moved in the apartment was still filthy from the last renters, none of my base boards are nailed in, and bugs constantly get in, they do spray a lot but i find dead roaches and other bugs all the time, so i cant even eat at my apartment. The worst thing though is the walls being paper thin, i feel like i'm bunk mates with the people upstairs. Also it really sucks not having a patio when your downstairs, something private. Its not private someone will always be walking their dog in the front of your apartment, or grilling in front of your bedroom window. I'm out as soon as my lease is up
The area is a great area, the staff is friendly the maintenance is great! Most neghbors are friendly! I have lived here 4 years and think for the area these apartments are great!
It's a quiet little complex on the outskirts of Yukon, suburb of Oklahoma City. Ranges from small one bedroom to a large one bedroom to a two bedroom. Some are equipt with fireplaces. Management keeps tabs in order to make sure those living in the complex are safe. Background checks are done on all residents. Anything that goes wrong, they get fixed within a day or two, depending on what it is and how quickly handymen can get out here. Relatively inexpensive and water is covered in rent payments. Pretty good place to live!
