If giving negative stars were a thing I would do it! Hope you like fixing the apartment yourself. Have been there for 6 months and submitted several maintenance requests and none of them were fixed. I had to catch a mouse myself because they could not follow the simple instructions I gave them about where the mouse was. Our hall light has been broken since the day we moved in and its still not fixed. Find someplace else to live!
What can I say about Wilde Lake apartments. This place is by far overpriced and has many issues. If you take an apartment on the 3rd floor, please expect bugs, noise from the unit below and plumbing issues. Maintenance request fall by the behind and the parking isn't the best. When the lease was signed in 2020, this complex changed management the very same day. You can imagine the confusion. This place should go under new construction, pest control and a site review

I had an awesome experience. I recently sold my house and moved into Wilde lake Apts. I have not lived in an apartment for several decades and had heard horror stories but my experience was nothing like that at all. Natalie is awesome! Jason is new but he is very personable and helped me a couple of times with the issues I had. Maintenance comes to fix things quickly and ask if there was anything else before they leave. The whole place in prompt in responding to any issues! I lived here only a year and I would not move unless I had to for personal reasons. Natalie bends backwards to help you out and always says to call her again if she can help me with something else. I recommend it 150%! My apt balcony faced the lake and that did not hurt either. They have a car wash, our air in the tire area, dog park. They are close to everything!
If I could rate 0 stars I would. Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere. This place is managed by an incompetent manager that absolutely has zero skills in dealing with people that are paying her salary. The first 6 months were wonderful, then comes the renewal of the lease that they require 2 months ahead. So actually my 6 month lease was essentially only 4 months. Once I signed up for the year things started to change. Bad neighbors, my car broken into, bonfires, drinking and illicit drug use around the buildings. Dogs barking all hours of the night. Trash is piled at the dumpster into the street every week. Maintenance stopped changing the filters, the pool and gym have been closed for at least 6 months despite increasing fees 2 times due to “rising in operating costs”. Transients have 2 times lived in the parking lot in campers for weeks. The list goes on. Finally, I was able to leave a month early and move on with my life. My last month of tenancy, I was one day late in paying rent despite the 16 other on time payments and this poor excuse for a property manager calls to let me know “as a courtesy” she has waived late payment fee but will be posting a notice on my door.” She became disruptive and argumentative when I began to share my grievances about how she has previously handled the conditions that were brought to her attention. She wanted me to be grateful as if she had done me this huge favor by waiving a late fee. She proceeded to tell me what responsibilities I signed for in the lease but didn’t want to discuss the responsibilities Wilde Lake failed to provide by their obligations.

Worst apartment ever in the life history. They charge more unnecessarily while leaving from apartment. Even when staying in the apartment, no immediate response for the apartment issues that we report. I don't recommend this apartment to anyone.

This was good place to live until Drucker and falk came to the picture. Before Lerner was the management and they keep an eye on community. This place is now opened for everybody. people from outside come and enjoy the pool, lake access and even car washing area. Getting a place to park your car is another issue. THere are numerous units empty but i do not know who parks the car then (Outsiders ?). come and see the lake, seems like it is a dirty water drained from all units. nobody cares to clean it. Swimming pool area is dirty and full of pets leash. See the garbage bin it seems it never cleans. Other issues are this community is not safe as every alternate days you can see police coming. Lets talk about units. Appliances are old and if you complaint they will not change it and will try to fix it. Kitchen tops are older and dirty. Now lets say a bottom line "Whatever you have problem, there is nobody who will take care".

We are sorry to hear your experience with our new management company has been less than desirable. We have been working diligently on improving the community since the summer of 2016 and have worked to make improvements on overall customer service as well. On the outside, we have completed needed repairs to the building exteriors and are in the process of giving all our buildings a fresh new look. The lake unfortunately is not owned by Wilde lake Apartments however we have been making a strong push with the Wilde Lake Homeowners Association to have the condition of the lake improved. Our focus has not been solely on the exterior. We have been doing an extensive interior remodel as well to include full kitchen and bathroom(s) remodels. We’d like to invite you to take a tour of one of the new models at which time we can discuss an upgrade to your home if you like what you see; we are certain you will! Areas where further improvements are being made include: limiting access to our pool (which under prior management was leased out to all surrounding communities), re-evaluating parking and considering a reserved parking policy for a nominal fee or permit parking altogether, and lastly continue our ongoing efforts to ensure the trash disposal area is clean and free of trash resulting from violations to our trash disposal policies. All of this is being made possible by the new team members that have been put in place who share the value of superb customer service. Our maintenance team shows this daily as they turn around over 90% of service requests within 24 hours. This is a community who does not care about its tenants and their loyalty. It has become the worst place, due to the recent change in management. Complaints to the office are completely ignored, although you will be told at your face that things will be addressed. Pool is always dirty stink like urinal, Garbage is always outside the box, Parking is horrendous, as the tenants do not adhere to the lease parking rules, Lake is always dirty and feel you like you are close to a drain/sewer. Dog feces everywhere. Tenants are grilling on the balconies, but this is totally ignored. The police seem to be regular visitors, as there is a problem with tenants fighting and the pool has invited non tenants, who party all evening. Such a shame. What management take cares is only rent and how can they charge you more. I am moving out in Nov and will advise not to come this community.

The transition to new management was not without faults however we are making great strides towards improving the community as a whole. We have taken a more aggressive role in enforcing policies and beginning new initiatives to address the concerns regarding parking, trash, patio/balcony use, and access to our pool area. We have also developed long lasting relationships with our Henrico County Police Department to ensure community police concerns are not wide spread. In addition to this we have also begun several projects to enhance the community's appearance and amenity package. These projects will involve reconfiguring our pool access to eliminate unauthorized use, a complete overhaul of the fitness center, and the installation of a brand new outdoor kitchen and seating area. In addition to this we are also actively working with the Wilde Lake Homeowner Association to have improvements made to the lake restoring its natural beauty. We recognize it is too late to save you as a resident at Wilde Lake Apartments, and for this we are deeply sorry, as there are many great things coming to the community which you could have been proud of.
