Property Ratings at Wilderness Village
The staff is great! Chelsea got me started here and has been very attentive answering any and all questions I have. The other office folk are very helpful too (though I never got their names), with things like picking up packages. The location is awesome! I am about 20-30 minutes from work, shopping centers and great hiking locations. It’s also within walking distance of walking trails and biking trails.
Awesome place to live! We have lived here for 5 years. Office staff and maintenance staff are wonderful and very helpful. Chelsea is always quick to solve any problems that may arise in a professional manner with clear communication. It is a great location to be in, close to the highways, stores, schools, and Lake Wilderness Park. I definitely would recommend living in the Wilderness Village Apartments.
I would caution you against living at Wilderness Village apartment complex. The location and setting is beautiful, however, be warned they will find any reason to penalize you financially. I moved in on the 26th of the month. They counted that as a full month, even if it was the 30th. In my opinion, so your lease is shorter by one month to raise your rent or force you into month to month at $300 additional each subsequent month. When I moved out after only 8 months they attempted to charge me $400 for 8 hours of painting, cleaning charge of $145, and carpet cleaning of $85. I disputed the painting charge and was changed to 2 hours of painting. The Lease is 51 pages long. I read every word and was aware of the carpet fee, however, no mention of a cleaning charge. I had called to specifically ask what I needed to do for my move out and if there was a list. The Manager, Veronica, stated no list and to simply wipe things down and sweep as they do a thorough cleaning. No mention it would be on my dime. Please take my warning and enter fully aware.
1st let me start by saying that when I was there the stopwatch great maintenance was OK but when we move out they are charging me for cleaning that was not needed I clean throll kitchen bathroom paint and did all of the necessary things so department can be ready for the next resident I receive a letter saying that they are Payne $285.94 for carpet cleaning They also say that they Spain $54 in paint which I was not need it which I painted myself so a bill was do they apartment was spotless when we left So if you're looking to move to an apartment as stay away from this place as when you move out you will have a big bill on your name.

I've lived in these apartments for three years now; I've been here when Shari, Calena, Jose and now our current manager Isaac, I believe his name is. I can tell you I have not experienced any delays on any type of help from management to maintenance, even if it's a small issue they always fix it that day or the following day. I recently transitioned to a larger apartment, and staff was nothing but accommodating and helpful through the whole process. Despite needing to give notice they let us move in to the new apartment in less than a weeks decision. Rita the assistant manager is especially helpful, and always friendly when I've come in (over these past three years) to help me with any issue that I have had. The management also hosts event, and quite often too, to encourage us residents to get together and grow as a community. Also it is a bonus that QFC and the gym are so close, on nice days I can just walk right down and enjoy the sunshine.

You want to deal with the most rudest, condesending manager on this planet! Like most managers/associates they seem nice at first because they have to fill a vacant apartment. But if you need to speak with the manager here regarding rent payment issues for instance...good luck! She is not very helpful and admits does everything by the book. Her name is Kalena. Besides, this place is right off of a very busy Maple Valley Hwy (Hwy 410). And like most places your rent is market based and will go up every lease cycle. Any minor maintance issues get delt with last, usually not for days. Sometimes weeks! Plus our nieghbors stole something we placed outside our door! Stay away, please!
