Wildewood is one of Columbia’s most sought after neighborhoods. This wooded locale is best known for housing several golf courses and the Sesquicentennial State Park, which offers kayaking, trails, and a dog park. Be very careful renting from this place. Once you complete an application they charge you $256 for your application which is non refundable and then they deny you based on unclear info they ask in the application I regret completing that application

This place is horrible. The amenities are not available for use. The pool was closed by DHEC, the grills do not work, the gym is locked, and the fire pit does not work. Lounge chairs and chairs around the fir pit are unusable as well. Trash is always piled up and very unsightly. Maintenance issues are not resolved timely if at all. Routine maintenance is nonexistent. The lawn company does not care about the residents property and have damaged vehicles in the parking lot. They have no desire to fix anything and will provide multiple excuses why it cannot be done. For over year we have been told we are getting swipe keys for the amenities but that has yet to occur. The posted office hours are not their real hours. Save your money and do not rent here.
Just finished up my lease and won’t be returning. It was going well but unfortunately the complex was bought out and replaced almost overnight by SMP. The staff is cordial enough but unfortunately it seems like corporate doesn’t allow them to be flexible. I was charged $50 for trash I didn’t leave out and they wouldn’t waive it for anything. The new management is also raising the rent to rates that the actual rooms aren’t worth. It’s unfortunate, the old company was a lot better but I decided to live elsewhere for a better rate.

Every since new management bought the place, it’s gone down hill. They have weird hours depending on what day it is, the trash builds up and is very unsightly, the gym is very dirty, smells, equipment breaking down, and when I needed to pick up something from the office, they closed down 4 hours early for a “surprise” meeting/training. Very unprofessional.

The trash is always tossed around or near the garbage area, but hardly ever in it. You put in service requests for work to be done on the malfunctioning equipment of your apartment and they either do not come, or make you wait an entire month before sending someone. A new company recently took over and they do not communicate with one another. When you call the office and speak with someone regarding important information, someone will always come to your door within the next few days asking the exact same question, which is extremely frustrating. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay in this apartment complex, especially with the way the prices have increased, as the service drastically decreased.

Worse apartment complex roaches, garbage always thrown on ground service is almost none existing. Rent is way to high not worth the money.Run. fast as you can away from the grove.
