Property Ratings at Wildflower Apartments
My AC was out for over a year. I had to threaten a lawsuit for them to reduce my rent only after they fixed it, and they only took 20 a month off. My shower handle was broken for 3 months. It was a sharp rusted metal object I had to use hand tools to shower. I slipped one day and slit my back open. I had to get multiple stitches and staples. Again only after threatening to sue did they fix it. They will lie to you. They will upcharge. Take this place with a mountain of salt.
I had no ac for almost 3 months, my carpet was wet for almost 2 weeks, would not had water on my showers every other day !
What can I say. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE. We have been here for almost 3 months and we have had about every pest infestation that there can be; rats, mouses, cockroaches, fleas, ants. Maintenance fails to repair anything!!! we have been without a working A/C for over two weeks and it’s been 100 degrees almost every day. Just please do not move here
Do you like having roaches crawl all over your apartment? Then this is the place for you!!!! This place is an absolute joke. I was showed two decent looking units on my tour. Then of course, my actual unit was filthy and beyond roach infested. I WILL be breaking my lease and getting as far away from here as I possibly can. Save your time, spend more money, and get a nicer place. Trust me.
They do not help because the maintenance workers say that the owner does not buy the parts from them, it is very sad to see that they cannot help as they should, I hope the owners have more so that those who are there can continue here
Great place to stay. The location is so convenient. It is to a Whole Foods, Northpark Mall, The Shops, Timber Creek Crossings, Target AND Costco! They also have a great after school program for kids and it’s free. Apart from that, the office staff is always so nice.
My lease is almost up & THANK GOD FOR IT this is BY FAR THE WORST place I’ve ever lived never the first day I moved it I had roaches EVERYWHERE! Bathroom bedroom closets even in the fridge and also refrigerator! not only did I have a roach problem I also had a spider problem CHEAP RENT IS NOT WORTH IT! Because u really do get what u paid for another problem I had was my bathtub paint being damaged 2 weeks after I moved in the paint in my bathtub was chipping not only they not fix it they said I would have to pay why would I have to pay for it when it’s literally only been 2 weeks of me living there obviously the people who painted it didn’t do a good enough job ! Also my car got broken into they stole my debit card nothing was damaged but when I went inside my car EVERYTHING WAS ON THE GROUND please y’all don’t move here it’s not worth loosing your mind over it these apartments truly suck & btw maintenance never shows up I put in a work over for pest control & other probably going on in my apartment they didn’t come until 2 months later & by that time my boyfriend fixed everything these apartments are truly a joke don’t move here even if it’s literally the only place u have to go it’s not worth it.
This place is absolutely grotesque. BUGS! BUGS! BUGS! Infested with them. Downright rude management company. Don't do this to yourself.
Love the office staff (Pineland AND Park Lane) and maintenance works hard for this large apartment complex!
I thought surely this place can't be as bad as the reviews. In fact it turned out to be worse. Roaches, repairs not being done, crime, awful management and so much more.
My wife and I's time at Wildflower has been a disappointing one. When we moved here in August of 2018, we moved into a dirty apartment that was filled with roaches; aka not move in ready. Through various requests of treatments, the bug problem never seemed to get fixed - we still see roaches here after 11 months in this place. Further degrading our experience was Wildflower's maintenance team. There are many recurring problems that have not been permanently fixed. About every to weeks, our sink stops draining water, and we have to call maintenance every time. Also, when we requested a new dishwasher, because ours has rust in it, we were declined a new dishwasher because maintenance deemed it "still functional." Forget the fact that it is unhealthy. One fact about Wildflower remains true. They are all about the money, not about customer satisfaction. If you rent here, know that any problem you have that doesn't result in income for Wildflower will be ignored to your frustration. Because of the egregious nature of Wildflower, I will probably never rent again. When you own a place, it is understandable that you would be responsible for all the problems. However, when you rent and you are limited on the modifications you can make, you expect your leasing office to take care of you. This experience has been far from a "vacation," as Wildflower suggests on their website. Be wary of this apartment agency!!! They only want your money!!
The apartments are good, the grounds are well kept. I got a tip from a friend about drug dealers here and called the police to see what was going on. They said, "are you looking to get robbed? that's one of the highest crime areas in Dallas." They recommended not going far north of northwest highway. The most unnerving part for me was that I gave them multiple opportunities to let me know what I was getting into, shy of point blank asking if there's a lot of robberies here, and they never even hinted that it was less than safe here.
I’ve been living here since March 2018 with my husband and while the rent is cheap—you don’t live alone! Every possible type of vermin lives in these apartments with you: rats, roaches, birds, ants, spiders—you name it we’ve got it... and that’s only what’s INSIDE with you! There are plenty of stray animals outside living in the drainage system for you to stumble over in the mornings. We have also have a huge problem with maintenance here. There is no quick solution to your work order and when it is fixed—there is no note that they were there in your home...something that they are required to do. Your right to privacy is completely disregarded here at Wildflower. Save yourself the trouble, just don’t come here. I’ve been here less than 5 months and I could write a book about this joke of an apartment complex. Stay far away from here and save your money for a place that SMI realty doesn’t manage.
Terrible customer service. Apartment wasn't even ready to move in after I drove a Uhaul all the way from Houston. Instead of the 1 bedroom apartment I was supposed to move into, I had to move into a 2 bedroom apartment and pay extra because that was the only apartment available. There are roaches everywhere even though they come spray. Electrical outlets keep going out. Terrible response time for repair requests and extremely poor communication. The office staff acts like they don't care about you or your requests (they don't). I've been hung up on when calling them about 10 times. I am stuck in this place for 4 more months, but I will move out as soon as I possibly can when the lease is up. I recommend you save yourself a lot of frustration and rent somewhere else.
I have been living in wildflower for 12 years. I have just renewed my contract, I give 5 stars to the customer service to the staff of the Park lane ...
I’ve lived here for two years and haven’t had any problems with getting anything fixed when something messes up. Christina and Richard are always friendly and helpful, and make sure things are done right. They offer flex payments on rent which makes things a lot easier.
SMI realty has to be filled with the most incompetent, uncaring, slowest, and dumbest bunch of pricks I have ever had to deal with in my life. Don’t walk away from this company. RUN, RUN for your life. I speak mainly about my experience at Wildflower apartments. But I imagine the entire company and system, front bottom to top (including Starla T) is as horrible as the management at Wildflower.
I have been living here for the past year and I have bad some really bad experiences. When the maintenance would come fix whatever I needed fixed they would leave a mess. When I had a problem with my rent the managers and the office ladies didn't do anything to help. Instead of helping they charged me a huge amount of interest to my rent. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
My family no longer lives in this complex. Our stay was okay, but my calls to maintenance were always ignored. I'm a sahm and they repeatedly left notes on my door that I wasn't home as their reason for not fixing anything. As I am home all day every day, this was a constant confusion for me. What I'm really disappointed about was that when I went to turn in my keys I was spoken to with a great deal of disrespect. I have never had a complex ask for their keys back. I'm new to Dallas, moved from Abilene. So I didn't know. I'm thankful that they called me to let me know. And I told them this. I wasn't aware that we had remaining charges and when I asked what they were, they assumed I didn't want to pay. I was just confused because to my knowledge we didn't owe anything else. When they relaid the charges in itemized order it made sense. And I told them I didn't have a problem paying. I just said that I didn't bring my check book with me and I might have to come back another day or that they could send a bill to my new house. There was also a charge for the extra rent because I was late turning in the keys. Being that I had never had to turn in keys before I was trying to understand why I didn't know I had to turn them in. But everything always got turned around. They kept trying to say that it was because I didn't want to pay the money and called me emotional. I repeatedly asked them to just calm down and let me speak. The manager Cynthia said, "no, you already had your say, you're done talking". I was stunned. They went 0 to 100 over a mere misunderstanding. Which I kept trying to tell them. I was trying to explain that I minsunderstood. That the things they said on the phone made it sound like we wouldn't owe any rent for late keys. But she kept saying, "my boss can pull up my phone records, I can prove I didn't say that". I didn't ask her to prove it. All I was trying to say was that it was extremely confusing the way she phrased things over the phone and I felt blindsighted. But I was never able to get that out. She just kept yelling at me saying I was emotional and and came in with an attitude. Said that I was threatening her because I had told her that based off of the way she was speaking to me I would leave reviews on my experience. Finally I just said, "please let me just ask the question I've been trying to ask this whole time, when do I need to pay this, how can I make this payment"? I made the payment and left.
Moved to Dallas in 2015 and unfortunately the move was "blind" due to the spontaneity my work; if I had known the truth about the complex I would have avoided it like the plague. Maintenance is unreliable and untrustworthy. I had water damage in the ceiling of the bathroom and it took a solid month of calling them repeatedly and finally a 1am visit for them to see the water cascading out of a giant hole in the ceiling. After they finally saw the spectacle, it took them 2 weeks to rehang new drywall. Leasing office staff never knows that's going on. The area is completely unsafe since on almost a bi-monthly basis you can hear gunfire in the middle of the night. Had packages stolen from the front and back porch. Yes, rent is low but you get what you pay for. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
I have been living here for 2 years I really like the office and property everyone is always so nice.. It was time for me to renew so renewed for another year happily!!!!! thank you wildflower apartments. Girmay Hagose...
The agents give good service i have never had a problem its always a satisfying experience when i go in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I lived here a good while... And i love the atmosphere when you go in!!!!!
Worst apartments evert, inconsiderate people. Never pay attention to you, the girls at the office always have a stank face on. Don't move in, there's people blasting to loud music at the parking lots & it's none stop. Can't wait till i move out!!
They have been very lazy, and inconsiderate. I would not refer due to mold in apartment that has been reported and them not wanting to fix anything!
they were great for first months and then i got my first leak they also tore my wall apart and left for several hours with the water spray out of the pipe and i start to get puddles of water show up around the apartment from it leak and travel through the wood i was very concern due to tha fact that mold can grow in the tinyest of places from water get acesss to it they maintance said that it was out of there hands and it took 4 more hours after that like 930 at night when somone was banging on my door say they were a plumer and all they did was replace the pipe i still to this day have a bag over the spot and this was two weeks 1/2 ago that they came to do so. still wait for them to so call come and fix it. also i had my window broke from some kids play outside threw a ball threw my window they first came and put some cardboard over it came back the next week and put glass over one side and left the other side open said he didnt have enough window to complete it that he would come back and fix it he came back the follow week and fixed it but still left a smaller hole in the right hand corner of my window and never ever came back to fix it this was three months ago and i have called to complain several times and still not fixed. just poor at fix problems
Repeat mold, leaks, and poor interior conditions. Not a gated community gates are always open. Security only on site during day hours. Maintenance and repairs not done in timely manner. Apartments rarely move in ready paint on floors and walls not quality but tossed on or dropped on floors and not cleaned. Trash spread everywhere even with multiple dumpsters. Horrible place to rent do not recommend
I honestly can say I haven't had a problem with my apt. But.....there are the worst streets inside of my apt. It has too many pot holes. & sometimes when u call the hotline to get something fixed it takes forever
From the outside of the apartments, the curb appeal is good. When you request to see an empty apartments they do not show you an apartment on This building needs updates and the parking lots have holes in them. Overall they are not fancy apartments but it is a quiet place to live for the most part. The maintenance sucks though, they walked into my apartment without me knowing and tore all the tile off my shower and then put a black trash bag over it in June and I have called several times and no one has fixed it yet 2 months later! Also they charged my rent wrong in my last lease and so they charged me double at the end of my last lease because of a mistake they made. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone unless you are on a budget like I am. I cant wait till my lease is up in December so i can move.
