Property Ratings at Wildwood Lubbock
I really like the pool and the study area, they are great but the staff is not the best, they are slow to fix issues and will say they fixed something but it wasn’t actually fixed, or the key to my apartment will stop working and I’ll have to wait hours to get back in when the issue wasn’t my fault to begin with.

We're truly sorry to hear about the inconveniences you've experienced. It's regrettable that our staffing issues have caused you such delays and disappointments. Please rest assured that we take your feedback very seriously and are dedicated to improving our responsiveness. Your experience is not indicative of the service levels we aspire to provide, and we'll strive for immediate improvements in those areas.
Quick to fix things but charge u even if that’s how it was when you moved in. Also rent was lowered after my lease was signed and they won’t lower it til next year.
I love Wildwood and all the amenities they provide! My roommates and I love getting free food on certain days or participating in the fun events that they hold for the residents year round. I have no complaints about Wildwood besides the maintenance is not the greatest with their time management. We have multiple things we have tried to call in like our torn up couches, the leak in our faucet, and the 'oopsies' sign that we have had since move in. We hope they don't charge us for these things in the end, if we can't get them out sooner. Overall, Wildwood is a great apartment complex and it is in a very safe area!!
I love it at wildwood. There are many things to do and see. The study rooms are peaceful and my favorite thing about this complex. I also love the pool, but it doesn’t trump the study rooms.
If you're a TTU student looking for housing, look anywhere else but here. The pool was shut down most of last year. Every time you log in to the resident portal, there are new charges showing up. They force you to pay them, but they cannot provide explanation for the charges. They do not answer the phone when you call, and they do not return voicemails or e-mails. The apartments have frequent maintenance problems, including mold from constant water leaks. I will be filing a complaing with the Better Business Bureau.
So far so good just the issue of a big leak stain on the floor in my room as well as the hallway and most of my room doors wont close all the way
Great area to go for a walk, walk your dog, and be safe. The inside of the units are really nice and offer a variety of cabinet space for food and utensils for the usual college student. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nice as well with plenty of space to move what you want inside.
Good place to live, people and staff are nice and easy to work with. The gym is nice as well as the pool and dog parks. The parking is never a issue and it’s a well maintained area
There very helpful. The apartment complex is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The community feels very safe even with it not being a gated apartment. There are plenty of great amenities. Overall a very well kept apartment.
The past 2 years have been great looking forward ward to another good year living at wildwood. There are now updated amenities and new workers so I have a feeling it will be great!
It has been great and I think I’m going to love it there. I live how they are renovating so many thing and how the staff is always so helpful
Good place to live! Very cheaply made where a lot of things break randomly and takes awhile for maintenance to get fixed Love how it is furnished however a little update on the couches needed The privacy is veryyy bad can hear conversations of all my neighbors and I feel intrusive
Location is nice, exterior is nice, amenities suck. Baited in with false pictures online of the pool that is only usable during August and outdated exercise equipment. Not to mention year after year doing pool maintenance during the summer when there was ample time to have that done. Not cool. Way too many student employees and we all hate it. It is so awkward when there is an issue to have to talk to a fellow classmate at the front desk.
I love wildwood, management has really done wonders especially with the new hires, but even before i never had issues here. I recommend living here to anyone who will listen, no complex of any friends of mine compares to wildwood if i’m being honest.
It’s been ok. The communication is terrible. When I call to speak with someone 1/10 times do I actually speak with a real person. Also the neighbors are extremely loud, do not get a flat. People will stomp and continue to even after you complain to the office.
Aw shucks this is the greatest community known to man everyone is so kind and helpful and the environment is just amazing. Definitely would recommend others live here
honestly not a great place to live. The staff are extremely unhelpful, and they try and charge you for whatever they possibly can squeeze out of you.
It’s so homey and welcoming. The people are beyond nice and the facility is just beautiful. It looks so new and renovated all the time and is very different to places i’ve toured before.
It is a great place to live, and the people there are genuinely so nice! They are very good at answering questions, and not making you feel silly for asking anything!
So fun and clean. I love how wildwood offers study spaces as well as dog runners. Parking has never been an issue and the girlls are amazing.
Was having numerous issues regarding different things in my apartment including issues with my clothes washer as well as our back door not latching correctly. Maintenance team and management team have quickly and efficiently solved the majority of my issues (the more serious ones first of course), and now life is great!!
I love it here ! I have never had an issue with wildwood in the year that I have lived here. The maintenance men are very attentive and the people at the front desk are always friendly.
This apartment is awesome! Super clean, modern, and comfy. It's in a great spot, close to cool shops and yummy food places. The people who run it are really nice and helpful too. Definitely recommend it!
Overall experience had been positive. Staff is attentive and available. Pool is huge, walking trials throughout, and gym has a variety of equipment!!
Great experience overall. Pool is really nice, apartment is a great living space with modernized look and appliances. Staff is very friendly.
Nice apartments, although I encountered problems with staff and they promise to reach out or call me back and they fail to do so. Other than that, the apartments are nice.
I have really enjoyed my time at wildwood. Its been a great experience. I just wish the hot tub worked and there are break ins every once and a while. Other than that its really great.
I love the community of wildwood and all the amenities. Although, trash pick up is inconsistent sometimes. Prices on electricity are averaged during the holidays when we aren't living at the apartment as well which doesn't make much sense.
amazing place to live as a college student! It’s near campus with a bus route. The apartment also has amazing amenities which really make the place worth it!
Great experience nice apartments. The staff is nice and friendly and willing to help. The study areas are always calm and quiet, and the free coffee is nice.
The complex is nice but the management could be better. I enjoy the neighbors and the community as well. I think the new upgrades are going to be useful, when we moved in the building was very dirty with some rooms not even finished being worked on. Floors was covered with dry paint and living room was very dirty as well.
Overall it has been good living at Wildwood. The gym and the pool are very convenient, the study areas in the clubhouse are helpful and open 24 hours. Really the only problem we have had is with maintenance being slow on certain things that need fixed.
Very nice place to live in, good environment and good people, fun activities for everyone and a lovely dog park. Would recommend to anyone living in Lubbock area
The spacious rooms offer a canvas for personalization, adorned with cherished decor that reflects my taste and style. Large windows usher in natural light, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that lifts my spirits. From the cozy living area to the well-equipped kitchen, every corner exudes functionality and elegance. The amenities are a bonus—an inviting pool for relaxation or the well-equipped gym for a burst of energy. The convenience of nearby facilities and a friendly community adds to the charm.
I lived at wildwood since August 2022 and have to continue to live here till July 2024. Renewing my lease was the worst thing I could’ve done. The apartments themselves are alright although have multiple problems. Rates are high. Utilities were moved to be due the 1st which makes it more expensive. Maintenance takes forever to fix anything. Management fails to inform residences of room checks, pest control, etc… ahead of time. The pool and extra stuff is cool at first glance but when you’re living here you’ll experience more cons than pros.
Maintenance could be quicker. Desk staff can be rude at times. The pool and gym are amazing along with the other amenities. Parking is adequate but can be a hassle sometimes.
Wildwood Lubbock has some really great amenities and and amazingly welcoming staff! I love when they give out free food and when the put on the Fall Carnival!
So far I am really impressed with the apartment community. How well it is kept up, and all the improvements they are doing. I am very excited to live there next semester.
Wildwood is an incredible apartment complex that I have personally had little to no issues with. The internet speeds are great and are very complementary to the online life that many students need nowadays, the fitness center is able to easily fulfill your needs for workouts, and the staff is very friendly.
Wild wood is hands down the best student housing in Lubbock. The complex is beautiful and offers many amenities from a beautiful pool to sun tan at during the summer to a great size gym. The staff is all friendly and love to assist the current and future residents. They are always bring in food and setting up fun task around the holidays for the residents.
Very nice amenities. Really really enjoy going to the gym it is kept super clean. Pool gets dirty but that is a given considering the age range occupying it but it gets cleaned fairly quickly.
The pool is constantly extremely dirty like not able to see the bottom dirty they didn't get it fixed all last year until July 1st. AC constantly goes out and takes them forever to fix it and if they can't figure out how to fix it you just have to wait until they do. The trash pick up is never consistent sometimes they won't pick it up for days so trash just sits outside the dumpster/compactor in the back is always full/broken even if you want to take it back there to get it off your porch birds sit there and pick at your garbage making a mess then at the end of the year they will charge you for having stains on the cement outside of your apartment where you are supposed to leave the trash and if you put the trash anywhere else like in the dirt or by the stairs they will bill you for that as well. If a big dust storm happens the buildings are poorly maintained none of the doors are sealed well or windows so dust comes in and covers your living room floor and when that huge dust storm happened last year they emailed everyone basically saying tough this is what it is like living in Lubbock, which would be fine and all if they didn't charge you a ton when you move out for the same dust that comes in because of their shitty doors and windows. The management will do absolutely nothing if you have an obnoxious neighbor they will respond once maybe and stop after that and ghost you. They are a bunch of con artists trying to squeeze money out of everyone who moves out we took pictures when we moved in but it seems like they nitpick everything when you move out to try and get the most money out of you as they can.
DON'T STAY HERE!!! I have lived here for a year and a half and it has gotten worse and worse. The new management has made this place into a dump. The management doesnt understand how to manage getting residents to throw there trash away. They threaten entire buildings with fines for something that they cannot prove and have no authority over. The grilles are broken. If you want to be overcharged for utilities this is the place to stay. Because somehow 3 people use $180 worth of electricity when no one is at the apartment. Then when you contact the front office to get some answers as to why it was so much when you used less than the previous months. They tell you to call the electric company and then the electric company tells you they cant let you access that information. Only the complex can do that and then the complex says that they are wrong. Yeah dont stay here they rip you off.
