Property Ratings at Williamsburg Square Apartments
Good place to live but they refuse to give Amazon a building key, so deliveries get left outside. I've had over $300 worth of stuff get stolen this year.
The staff and maintenance guys are awesome… you call they fix…nice area tucked back off west road.. only complaint is these are older apartments and you can hear everything- my advice would be to rent a 2nd floor unit… I can hear the neighbor above me’s every step, maybe I got a inconsiderate neighbor who just walks too hard, but it is extremely annoying..if management doesn’t fix this I will be hiring a lawyer to get outta lease..

Dale has been in my apartment for the past 2 days completing a drywall repair. Both times I have had an encounter with him, he was both very nice, and professional. The drywall repair he completed looks magnisficient, and I am a satisfied resident.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a fantastic resident experience about living at Williamsburg Square Apartments. We're happy we are exceeding your expectations and appreciate your kind words! – Kady Sprau, Property Assistant Manager
I have only lived here for 2 weeks, but am so satisfied that I thought I would share. The office staff was so friendly, and welcoming; they made the process to move-in stress free for me. We had gotten a snowfall the night I moved in, and I was so suprised when I woke up Saturday morning to see that the sidewalks had already been cleared of snow. the community itself it so quite, and all my neighbors seem to be nice and friendly so far. Moving has always been stressful for me, and this time around it wasn't, and I just wanted to say thank you for that Williamsburg Square!

My girlfriend and I are almost reaching our two year mark living here and I couldn't be happier. When we first came across looking for a place together was a struggle looking everywhere. Until we came across this place. Its in thee perfect location because there are several stores pretty much across the street. Anything you need is literally a 5 minute walk so thats very helpful for location wise. Beginning the application process, Kady, she made it very easy and understanding about getting our first apartment together. The moving in process was simple. With both of us working afternoons and don't get home until close to 11 the neighborhood is very peaceful and relaxed and we even take our dog out that late and its such a safe area. Living here has been our best choice of apartment searching so I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a safe place to call home. Close to our first nights here we had to call the 24/7 hotline because our bathroom started to flood and the maintenance person came over within 5 minutes to take care of it so it didn't cause any damages to anything. Anytime we have any questions or concerns the staff members will go above and beyond answering every single question or concerns immediately so that's always a plus!! I'm proud to call this place my home!
My husband and I moved into Williamsburg Square about 6 months ago and couldn’t be happier. The location is perfect; lots of shopping, dining and easy access to major freeways. Close to police and fire stations. The staff in the office has been fantastic from the start- we toured apartments with Kady and felt comfortable from the start, she was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient, Kady made sure we got everything we needed in an an apartment at a reasonable price (the have discounts for military which was awesome for us) Kady stuck with us from application to move in, and followed up to make sure everything was perfect. Our building is fairly well maintained with any issues being fixed in a timely manner. Maintenance is very helpful when needed. Noise control hasn’t been an issue. We like that our mail box is inside our building as well as washer, dryers and extra private storage. This is a perfect apartment complex for a small family or couple. For the price I can’t complain, would recommend you checking it out.
My wife and I moved into Williamsburg Square a little over a year ago now and we have no complaints other than the snow removal. When we first started looking for a new place to call home my wife was on the hunt on her own since I was working a lot. My wife took a tour with Kady and fell in love with the layout and balcony. My wife went forward with the steps to move in before I even saw the apartment and Kady made the application process and move in process SUPER easy. We now have been here over a year and still love it just as much. The office staff has always been helpful and the maintenance guys are always doing their best to make sure the property looks top notch. Snow is never easy for anyone but I would just like to see the parking lots plowed in a faster time frame.
I am a current resident at Williamsburg Square Apartments, and provided my 3/5 not in any insulting manner to the premises- nor in any complimentary manner. My pro's with Williamsburg is my interactions with the landlords have always been great, and helpful. The few times we've exchanged conversation- they've been extending and helpful. My building complex is nice, 'stay to themselves' neighbors, no noise complaints or anything out of the ordinary. However, I feel this is how "Average" service should be. My faults. 1. Rent rates are a little dramatic for what's provided. The units themselves are nothing to boast over, and the buildings are very old- with old appliances. My furnace (conveniently located in the master bedroom) has to play a drum solo before turning on. I understand there are some remodeling in progress, but why not give already tenants the opportunity first- we are the one's faithful and diligent in the cost of the old, rickety units. 2. No community. For the rate paid, for the unit being paid for, why not have community newsletters allowing it's tenants paying this rate to understand what's happening? Maybe then we'd know about violence happening in the complex, or new apartments being added, or how the guests are enjoying their indwelling. Just a couple months ago, I came home to police lining the streets, officers walking around armed in parking lots, and they stayed light blazing all evening. I later found from local news, there was a homicide buildings away from mine. I expected to hear about something questioning my safety, or renewed protocols, from the office- but no such statement or address was ever made to it's paying tenants. One more pro to end on a good note. Maintenance is on par. I've worked a lot when my AC didn't work with a man named Nick, and he was incredibly helpful- moreso then the office. I left voicemail after voicemail asking the office to help and assist with my AC not working, racking my electric bill, while providing no coolant in the 98 degree season of July 2016. To no answer, but Nick worked hard on the AC and fixed the unit himself. Maintenance has been 5/5 to me. If you're expecting a distant office, bad office hours, and average apartment- Williamsburg is great for you. They also have a pool.
I've lived here for 5 years and the place is kept up nicely. The maintenance staff is excellent. They work around your schedule and make repairs promptly. The office staff is also very helpful and courteous. The grounds are kept well maintained from mowing the grass to removal of the snow and ice. The rent is comparable to other apartment complexes in the area. They also allow pets which is helpful since I have a cat and dog. And there's no weight limit for the dogs. It is nearby to many shopping areas and restaurants within walking distance. It also a beautiful pool to relax at the end of a hard day's work.
The property is not maintained. Sewage backs up into apartment after it rains. Property manager has changed numerous times and they do not return calls or alert tenants to problems. The walls are very thin and even though tenants are forced to sign a noise clause in the rental agreement, the complex does not enforce it. They use to spray for bugs, but no longer spray for them so there are centipedes and spiders. The entrance doors no longer lock. The rates are very high for the age of the building. The common areas are in disrepair. Carpets are aged and dirty. Pets are now allowed however, management does not enforce the pet policy so there are pet feces everywhere and pets running in the common areas and outside without a leash. This property may seem like a good deal when you initially move in, but with the annual rent increase it's not worth it long term.
