Property Ratings at Willow Brook Apartments
I moved in here last year in June. And first of all let me say I have no issues with the staff maintenance or property. Every request I’ve put in gets worked on right away. I love this location everything is conveniently right here the bus stop convenience stores etc. I love my apartment it’s enough room for me and my two little boys. My only issue is the AC system. It is really hot. I think that would be the only thing that would make me not re-sign the lease here. Other than that I have no complaints at all.
Don't make the mistake of moving into or even considering Willow Brook or any other Churchill Forge Property. When I moved into Willow Brook Apartments three years ago, I was excited to have found a reasonably priced location with a management team that was responsive and courteous. Unfortunately, these early expectations and experiences have not lasted. In the time that I have lived there, I have had both my car and apartment broken into. When I requested that my door lock be changed, management wanted to charge for replacing the lock and were never apologetic for these cases. In addition, this apartment complex has had foundation issues, drug sales, a shooting, regular insect infestations, tenants peeking through windows, and at least one dumpster fire. The apartment also regularly experiences water breaks, which leaves residents without water during the day on a semi-regular basis. Parking is nearly impossible. As a result, tenants regularly have to park further off, hoping that their car won’t be broken into each night. The air conditioning system is outdated and functionally has little temperature control. In summary, don’t move to Willow Brook or any Churchill Forge Properties unless you are looking for a poor quality of life, to be regularly inconvenienced, and to be treated with complete disrespect. If you want anything good out of this apartment, you are going to be disappointed. Save your time and money. You are worth more than having to settle for this horrible place.
So...I lived here from May 2017 until March 2018. Everything was great until the day I moved out. I went into the office and because I knew I was leaving early, specifically asked if all I had to pay was my last months rent...I was basically giving them the unit back so they could rent it out before my official end of lease since I wasn’t going to be staying there any longer. I fully intended on paying my lease through the end of April however. I was told yes that was it. Two days later, I received a call from Leticia and as many others have stated here on this site, was told I’d also have to pay an additional re let few because I didn’t pay my last month of rent on the day that I turned in my keys. So basically, by being a considerate tenant and giving them the unit back a month and a half early so they could get on with renting it out sooner to someone else, I’m being fined for “breaking the lease” which is complete bunk. Ok, so let me pay my rent now, that’s fine. No, and she berated me for my lack on intelligence in failing to understand the lease. I can read the lease quite clearly but specifically went to ask office staff for clarification and wanted to ensure I would be in the clear. Suffice it to say, Leticia is an absolute horrible person for anything remotely customer service oriented. Be wary before you sign a lease...even if you read it and understand it and someone tells you otherwise, she will use it against you in true “gotcha” form. (Read your lease Sir!) Well, many people read these reviews so my friends, READ THESE REVIEWS! There’s definitely a reason why her name specifically keeps being repeated.
I moved in over Memorial Day weekend. So far, I have been very happy living here. The sq footage is great for the price compared to other places. Maintenance requests are answered in 24 hours or less. I have been very impressed with the maintenance staff so far They respond fast, fix everything completely and leave no mess behind. The community is quiet. I can't hear my neighbors at all. I can hear people playing in the pool during the day but that's no big deal. The apartment was very clean when I moved in and they even give you a little move in care package. My only concern was that there is no hall closet in my unit. The bedroom walk-in is so large, though, that I was able to fit my vacuum and coats in with no problem anyway. I'm glad I chose to live here
A very friendly, family oriented environment. The maintenance are quick on their work orders and attend to their repairs really fast. The staff are very courteous and are there to meet your needs. The complex are very clean. They respond to complaints quick I and resolve the problem situation. I recommend these apartments to anyone who is looking for a place to live.
Good near everything shops, schools, offices, restaurants, buses etc. Near downtown and high way ih-35
I am counting down the days to move out of my very short lease & have spoke to many people that are the same. Not good service mgmt or anything
