Characterized by densely populated residential areas and the occasional small shopping center, Millcreek is a safe and comfortable place to live. While not as trendy as Sugarhouse to the north, the neighborhood provides plenty of dining and entertainment options. Families, in particular, love Millcreek for its low crime rate and highly-rated schools.
Millcreek lies just 7 miles south of downtown Salt Lake City, making for a short drive even in the heaviest traffic. Many residents live in the area and commute to the downtown businesses or the University of Utah; Millcreek also lies within a 30-minute drive of many southern suburbs. Just 15 minutes to the east, the Wasatch Mountains provide hiking and skiing opportunities.

Property Ratings at Willow Brook Cove Apartments
No fitness center, not well kept, no yard, playground is a safety hazard. Porches are full of rot. Maintenance is very slow to fix anything of they ever do come fix things. Avoid at all costs. This ad says they pay for A/C, they do not.
Property Manager at Willow Brook Cove Apartments, Responded To This Review
Willow Brook Cove has never had a fitness center. The listing was not correct. The listing has now been corrected. Additionally the property has never paid for the A/C. This also was a mistake on the listing. In the Fall of 2024 we but in a brand new play area with a 1/2 court basketball area. While some decks may have had maintenance issues, we have now taken care of them. As for the maintenance, we have a maintenance technician that is on-site five days a week. Our apologies for misunderstandings and the poor service you experienced.
First, this listing is misleading. There is not a useable tennis court, and they do not have an exercise facility. Second, the apartments have not been upgraded since the 70’s and they they no longer maintain them or the grounds. Repair requests are frequently ignored, but the rent is raised every year. This is no longer a good value.

Our residents consistently tell us they love living here and appreciate the value we provide. I am sorry you do not share their opinion. We would love to talk more and see if there is anything we can do to make it right.
My roommate and I love the amount of space in our apartment! Shelby is wonderful and management is quick to fix things. Very family friendly and affordable! Only negative to living in the lower-level apartment is spiders and earwigs in the summer.
We have been extremely satisfied with living at Willow Brook the past year and a half. Shelby is awesome to work with and management is prompt to fix any problems. The area is quiet and an awesome location, anything you need is within ten minutes. There is plenty of storage and the floor plans are homey. My only complaint would be that snow removal is usually later in the day, not when you need to go to work.
This is a great place to live. The apartments are spacious. The neighbors are so nice and watch out for each other. I have never had a problem with parking, but I only have one car. The maintenance men come within a business day after a request is made and Shelby is very nice, organized, and professional to work with. Some of our favorite features are the grounds, the playground, and the pool. It is nice to be able to just go outside and play in a lovely place.
This used to be a great place to live. Shelby is great to work with on major problems, but her follow through needs work. The rules are not followed by everyone and management doesn't do anything. The parking is terrible because the residents don't care if they park in two spaces or park at an angle. I have complained about this, but the residents continue to park like crap. There are bikes and toys in front of the doors to the apartments, which not only looks bad but I believe it is against the rules and a possible fire hazzard. The kids run around and not supervised by the parents. Sure a newsletter comes out every once in a while telling parents to watch their kids. The kids play in the parking lot and sometimes won't move out of the way and they play ball too close to the cars. When our car was vandalized by one kid, not being supervised, Shelby was a great help in finding who did it. Work orders take forever to be taken care of. When he does come he doesnt have the right tools to do the job. The parking lot is bad. It is like driving off road and my car isn't made for that. I do like living here and for the most part, management is ok.
Great location. Quiet and safe area to live. Resident manager is extremely nice and helpful. Quick response to repair requests. Only negative is the rooms are quite small except for the large master bedroom.
First, I love the square footage. These apartments are large with plenty of storage space. Management is attentive and repairs are done quickly. In response to another review, they have never entered my apartment without prior notice, the parking lot is always clear of snow and ice, and this is Holladay. Scary crime? Hardly.
I don't really ever write reviews, but I love this place. I have lived in 3 different apartment complexes in the Salt Lake Valley, and this has been my favorite. When you put in a work order here, they actually fix it! It's a miracle. My last place used the band aid approach, but here they actually fix it or replace it. It is a quiet area, which I love. There is some crime, but I haven't had any problems myself. I love that it is no smoking, because I have horrible allergies. And they really enforce it, which I really appreciate. The apartments are a great size. I have been here for 5 years, I think and I still love it. And no one paid me to say this.
The area is really nice, the apartments are a great size and we are very happy here. It has been a great place to begin our first home. Management is AWESOME, they are always on top of things and we are very pleased with them. The manager is super friendly and kind, and she is always ready to help when we need. Definitely a five star place!
Everyone is great. Have lived here 5 years. When there has been an issue it is resolved quickly when possible. I only wish I was closer to the parking lot but we picked this apartment. Great place to rent.
The Management team treat the tenants like Property! They enter the apartments without notification and they are constantly trying to look for problems with the Tennant's instead of fixing what is important. In the winter the Parking area is like a Ice Rink and the Crime in the area is extremely scary
