Property Ratings at Willow Brooke Apts.
It’s not a bad place if you don’t mind parking 4 buildings over because there’s no parking enforcement for residents. While walking to your apt watch out for people speeding through the parking lot blaring music at all hours ( almost been hit multiple times). Once in your building you can hear neighbors arguing and blaring their music while the aroma of weed fills the hallways into the apartment. The shame of it is that it wasn’t always this bad. Management does nothing when it comes to this no matter how many times you report it. Save yourself time and money and look elsewhere.
Apartments are lovely but SUPER SUPER THIN walls and floors. You can hear everything, which didn’t bother me since I understand how apartment living is therefore no complaints from me. What was insane was I lived on the 2nd floor and have a 10lb dog, from day one I started getting letters on my door telling me to shut up my dog from my downstairs neighbor complaining that my 10lb dog sounds like an elephant. This continued with threats and complaints to management and later escalated to police calls. Instead of management helping the situation they told me to figure it out myself. Not dog friendly, the cop basically told me to not step too loud that it maybe wasn’t the dog she was complaining about but maybe me walking around. I never lived in peace a single day and not to mention I was pregnant durning this stressful time. Don’t advertise that you allow dogs if it’s nothing but a stressful experience. Walls are too thin, and management doesn’t do anything to help handle these problems. Wouldn’t recommend unless you don’t have dogs.. or children... or you walking around.
my boyfriend & i were in a rush to move & we went to about 5 apartment rental locations. when we went to willow brooke's apartments, we spoke with debbie. debbie instantly made us feel very welcomed & at ease when we visited her. she listened to our needs & found us what we wanted right away. i met with the willow brooke staff when i had my pet interview & all of them were so friendly. i'm happy with the decision we made to go further with willow brooke. i dont regret anything & would recommend this place to anyone.
ALL noise complaints are taken seriously and too many are cause for EVICTION. I have lived here almost six years and have no plans to move anytime soon... not even to the new apartments down the street. Not giving up my view as long as I can keep it. Sleeping out on the deck in the warmer months is like going camping without leaving home... if you remember doing that in your backyard as a kid, you know what I mean... we even have a bog down the street which provides toad, cricket and cicadas to make it more realistic! AGAIN: they take noise complaints SERIOUSLY. Do NOT move here if you can't control your kids either... they have low tolerance for that as well and, as a single person without any, I really enjoy that I don't have kids hanging out looking for stuff to get into. Most of the kids here enjoy the pool (indoor), playground and sliding down the hill surrounding the property in the winter... and stop just short of ending up on the patios. The only problems that I have had in my building here came from the aforementioned people... and even that was short lived since they had the ENTIRE building complaining which they encourage you to do... they want you to enjoy living here and are willing to do what's necessary to make sure you do which is a change since most rental companies could care less as long as the rent is on time.
I have been here for 9 months now and I just love it here! I have a studio apartment and it is very spacious and more than enough room for me! The staff is great! Beautiful landscaping during Spring and Summer months.
this is a place that i would not tell anyone who is looking for a place to live at. i only been here for 5 months. and am ready to leave this place now. and never come back here again. i'm looking now for a good place to live at now so i can move out of this bad place here.
I've lived here for over 3 years and I am very happy here. Everything is kept very clean inside and out. The grounds are beautifully kept. I needed maintenance off hours once and they were at my apartment less than 20 minutes after I called! When there is a noise complaint, it is addressed immediately. Their customer service is excellent! Just renewed my lease and plan to be here long term.
I love my studio here at Willow Brooke. It is bigger than a usual studio and is very well maintained.
