Oklahoma City is a thriving city right at the heart of Oklahoma. The city’s thriving economy is complemented by its exciting nightlife and entertainment options. Downtown is home to the Myriad Botanical Gardens and the Oklahoma City Zoo, two extremely popular family-friendly attractions. The Myriad Gardens also include the Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park production at the Water Stage.
The Oklahoma City Thunder has built a dedicated fan base, and things always get pretty wild around the Chesapeake Arena on game days. The arts community is quite active with galleries, museums, theater productions, and a music scene incorporating everything from underground alternative bands to the Oklahoma City Philharmonic.
The city has been expanding in recent years, and Oklahoma City proper is much easier to get around with public transportation than most other cities in the region, including rail service.

Property Ratings at Willow Creek Apartments
This place is pretty bad. The management is unethical, they will redo the entirety of the outside of the apartments but won’t complete tenants maintenance request. The inside of the units are falling apart and getting them to fix anything is like pulling teeth from a mule. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and have actually recommended people to stay far away.
Management is poor! They treat you terrible when you ask questions about updates on maintenance requests! AC will stay broken for WEEKS! There has been MULTIPLE shootings! Mice found throughout the apartment and refrigerator smelled like a dead body because they were too cheep to replace it after the last tenant left ROTTING FOOD in it!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!! I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE HERE
It has everything it says, washer, dryers, and it's clean with functional fireplace. There's no misrepresentation on their part. But let's talk about trash bins being located on the far edges of the complex, so if you live in the middle like I do, it's a 50+yrd walk just to take your trash out. Also, if you don't get home til evening you can forget about parking reasonably close to your apartment. I have watched people park in front of my place where I WOULD park, and then walk to completely different bldg not along the border of this particular parking lot. They want to avoid parking toward the front of the complex as well as the rear of the apartment, which is frustrating that there isn't some kind of parking common sense assignment set up that at least gets people close to their apartment and keeps people from parking in the middle lot when they could park in the back and be closer to their home. There's no crime here so there's no reason to avoid parking in one spot over another. Just today I watched a guy park in front of me and walk two buildings away. It's difficult to understand, but residents definitely try to park dead center so when you have to leave at 8pm and come back at 815, you'll find that someone who's car you don't recognize, but seen parked when you left will have moved from 4 spots away to take your spot. So be ready to never park in front of your new home. If you choose an apartment on the far east and far west sides of the complex you will be close to the lands of the trash bins, and you will always have a parking spot in front of your apt, because nobody wants to park there. Other than that you just have to deal with typical mwc ghetto loud window shaking car stereos and straight piped trucks revving through in the middle of the night when you're trying to sleep. This isn't the complex's fault as you have to deal with this in the nicest of neighborhoods in mwc because it's just that we have morons in mwc who think we all want to hear their music or we all love slow trucks with loud exhausts in the middle of the night. Great place to live, especially if you enjoy walking. It is the best complex for the price.
I have lived here for 12 years and found the management to be helpful. The residents here are great neighbors and the property is overall well-maintained.
