Property Ratings at Willow Creek Apartments & Townhomes
It was a nice place to live and we felt safe there. We received a refund check in the mail after we moved to marshall to be closer to family. Little did we know they turned us into collections over $151 and never informed us, why would we owe a balance if they sent us a refund check?! We have the receipt from it and everything, but they refuse to return our calls.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had. Problem after problem. Water leaks through the ceiling (of which we had a huge hole in the ceiling for three weeks, smelling mold and mildew with two infants), tons of bugs, broken doors and toilets. The best part is that management could care less. We called about all of these problems a total of roughly 15 times, and not one time did we ever receive a call back. Maintenance actually informed us that nothing was being done because management was simply ignoring our phone calls, and not passing them on to him, so since there was no work orders being done, he could not repair anything. We moved in May of this year, and from the start our air conditions unit was not only blowing out warm air, but did not work at all upstairs, forcing me to go out and buy a $350 portable air conditioner just to stay in our new apartment. The front offices were notified four or five times, and in the only response we got, we were told to close the vents on the bottom floor, we reiterated that it was blowing out hot air, as well as no pressure upstairs, but were totally ignored. We learned that basically you just have to live with any issues you have, because they absolutely will not be fixed, and your calls will be ignored. We also talked with neighbors who said they were being overrun with a bug infestation, and that they couldn't get a response either. Best part is, they expect their rent paid on time, even though they totally disregard their tenants concerns. I would never recommend this place to anyone, EVER! We then asked if we could use our security deposit to pay our last month's lease breakage fee. We called several times with no response, leaving three or four voicemails. We then asked if we could set up a payment plan once we finally reached someone. The lady who answered proceeded to tell us that not only would she not talk with the property manager about setting something up, but that she would instead be turning us into collections, lol. The good news is I have a lawyer, and all of our phone records and complaints have been documented and provided to my lawyer, so we will be pursuing legal action against Willow Creek for their complete negligence and disregard for their residents. Willow Creek is absolutely disgusting, both from an apartment standpoint, and management standpoint. To anyone considering Willow Creek...RUN!

I really feel like home in my apartment! It's 2 bedroom which gives me extra room to enjoy the living space. I have washer/dryer room which is a big plus!! 2 bathrooms are great when company visits or even if I want to again 'spread out' my favorite towels, etc. My bedroom is so big!! I lived in a mobile home for nearly 18 years and always wanted a bedroom big enough to walk around the bed!! And I have it!! The location is great because there is not another apartment across from me so I don't have to keep my drapes closed or wonder who's glancing in as they walk by! We have a dog park area which is great for pets and visiting with others. Parking is tight, especially with visitors, but seems to work out. I appreciate their upkeep and I have great neighbors!!
