Willow Lake Apartments

Our roof has had a leak for 3yrs We notified mgmt for years yet they wont fix it. Additionally, the renter below us violates many rules yet mgmt refuses to address it

I've lived here for over 5 years. There has been noisy construction all of those years and never seems to be finished. They don't warn you when they will be doing construction on your patio. A work order can take them weeks or a month or two to get back to you on. The biggest problem is the roaches. They are so roach infested. You will feel like a 24/7 roach warrior if you live here. The apartments are very old and always falling apart and needing one thing after the next. The only thing they have going for them is the price and leniency on rent being late. Aside from that if you can find somewhere for the same price I'd go for that

The beginning seemed promising. There is a really nice younger lady that works in the office with 2 others. Unfortunately if you work with the actual manager at Willow lakes, it's a nightmare. The apts are old (leak, breaks, etc.) YOU WILL NEED MAINTENANCE. I have had quite a few issues with maintenance & professionalism from the manager at the office. But my review is to warn people. After disputing a maintenance charge to her, I rightfully was told by the overseeing company JD homes that I would not be liable for repair charges. Now I figured that didn't sit well with the manager of willow lakes, but I didn't expect for it to get personal. Call it a coincidence, but I now came home to a 3 day notice to clean a RUG & BLANKET off my patio or MOVE OUT....Mind you, they call me constantly to TELL ME people need to enter my apt for anything under the sun. I'm a single mother & things like this from place like this are NOT worth saving money for, especially when they can find little reasons to give notice off personal vendettas...& I didn't even get to mention the bugs.

Apt use to be okay and quiet, and things were fixed quickly, laundry 24/7, pool&fitness24/7. But since new management under JD Homes took over in 2016, horrible wait to get things fixed ex:lights,repair,heat/ac,more slum start to lived here now, they shut off all lights by tennis court where cars are being parked leading to many break in in cars, closed down pool,laundry,fitness by 9,many roach, blk widow, and mold inside homes&window. Sacrificing until we saved enough to buy a house. Stupid manager always making excuses on broken things and don't know half of the time what they're doing. Don't waste your time here if your looking for a nice place!

They will not return my deposit. Very unorganized, they don't keep a paper trail. The place has mold, roaches, and cars get vandalized, the place should be condemned.

The outside of complex has roaches and black widows they will turn off your power or water with no warnings if you go in and ask for repairs they won't care last winter my heater went out in october and I had to wait till Feb before they put in a new one I've complained multiple times about maintenance issues and all they say every time is someone will be here by end of week I've been waiting over a year for some fixes

I have lived here for over a year, and as of May 2016, the residents of willow lakes are rioting. Mold is on the ceilings. The place is cockroach infested. And the new management quit in April because none of the repairs or Public Safety laws were being taken care of. We were ignored. Now that the Clovis PD is looking into the matter, the office is rushing to get maintenance done. Outdoor electricity has finally been repaired after waiting three months, but the other half of the apartments still have not bee fixed. I personally have been asking for a repair for a broken and leaking dishwasher for the past month, and in May, I find that my repair is backlogged because they are just now tearing out somebody's molded wall. For a wall to get that bad, it should have been taken care of a long time ago. Then my repair is still backlogged because they keep on postponing the date to repair it. They don't give a time. they just keep postponing until the PD officially shows up and shows them that it has to be fixed. I am not happy in my very own home.

The place is cock roach infested. My neighbors are planning to picket with the police department in May, and right now, I want to do the same. It is a fair priced apartment, but they lack in social standards and Public safety laws. They do not take care of repairs. I have been asking for a time on my days off to get repairs done, but they keep on postponing. Twice they made me wait an entire day at the house, promising they will get to my apartment, and at the end of the day they say they are to swamped with work and that I should just wait. I have been waiting over three months now for repairs. I am tired of it.

If your on a budget and need space I'd recommend these apartments iv been living here for almost a year now and I love it so far iv had no problems everyone seems to mind there own business and i live comfortable thr complex is a but old and the structure is a bit outdated but you can't beat the price
