Cheap rent, good location. But that's about it
The rent is cheap and the location is ideal if you want to be close to town but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. The area is safe and neighbors are friendly. The property management company that owns these buildings are not the best. Landlord is not friendly or approachable. She is also extremely unprofessional; takes forever to respond to texts or calls, and is often late for any appointments you have to meet. The units are old and maintenance will only fix something if it doesn't work. Landlord is very cheap and will look for anything possible to charge you for upon move out. Beware.

Disappointed
Absolutely great location. Close enough to walk downtown but far enough away you feel like you are on your own with some peace and quiet. The neighborhood is great. However, our landlord experience was disappointing to say the least. Our landlord was unprofessional and didn't return calls in a timely manner. One instance we had rain coming through our window for weeks on end with no fix from the "maintenance man." Other experiences include closet doors being replaced upside down and backwards as well as unexplained crunchy carpet spots when we moved in. Removed from our security deposit were charges for "replacing stove top burners," "cleaning bathroom," and "replacing lightbulb." No explanation as to what was wrong with them or why the charges were taken out of our security deposit. Very disappointing experience and we would never rent there again.
