Situated roughly 25 minutes away from both downtown Denver and Boulder and less than an hour from the ski resorts and hiking trails of the Front Range, Westminster apartment residents enjoy a prime position to access the best of what Colorado has to offer. In town and nearby, huge scenic parks provide great opportunities for sledding and ice skating in the winter and running and biking in the warmer months.
The local schools perform very well and the community offers no shortage of family-friendly entertainment options. Several museums and theaters are scattered around the area, and more than 100 public works of art can be found throughout Westminster—noteworthy in particular is the Sculpture on 73rd Avenue exhibit, which features a rotating display of artwork in a sculpture garden setting.

Property Ratings at Willowbrook Crossing
I can already tell things are getting better with the new owners and management this year. They actually respond now, and we’re seeing more of staff onsite. Plus, we are getting new windows in 2025, which is awesome!
The management is very poor. They don’t answer your emails, calls, anything. The apartments are so unsafe. I mailed some of my stuff and ordered a few Items from Amazon including a mattress and a bed before I move in but when I came a few days later, all four boxes of mine were stolen and I had to sleep on the hard floor. Also, my toilet were broken and I didn’t have toilet the first night I arrived! You can’t adjust your home temperature! The heaters have a central thermostat making them get off and on automatically. You will freeze when it’s cold outside and you will melt when it’s sunny! In warm sunny days, my heater is on and I don’t have control over it. So the temperature at my unit goes over 80!!! The back yard is super dirty! The houses are super old! They have just paint the walls and changed the carpet and double the rents only because of that! It’s very smoky inside the whole building! People in other units smoke and, for some reason, my unit gets smoky! Windows are so old and they are not energy efficient. I can’t wait for my lease to end so I can get out of this hell!

Dear Sarah, Based on your very unique experience, and previous reviews, we have been able to confirm that you are not a resident at Willowbrook. Therefore, the information posted in this review is not accurate for Willowbrook and therefore is misleading and dishonest. All of your work orders have been addressed in an extremely timely fashion. We have confirmed your heating system is operating property, and only turning on when the outside temperature dips below 55 degrees. We also do not recommend delivering packages to a property at which you do not reside. Per your own admission, these packages were delivered days before you moved in. Unfortunately, in all parts of Denver and the surrounding area, porch pirates may take advantage of packages that appear to be abandoned. Our goal is to make sure residents are happy in their homes. If you are interested in transferring to a different property, please contact us for our transfer guidelines and policy.
it’s the worst place i’ve ever lived. washer/dryers never work. no one ever in the leasing office and also impossible to get in touch with via phone or email. roaches everywhere. building doors don’t lock, so homeless folks end up using the stairwells as a bed. pool is never usable. they never refill the doggie bags outside, and rarely empty the trash. parking lot full of glass and i’ve seen used needles on multiple occasions. the towing company they use will tow you for no reason and then charge insane amounts to get your car out. they charge an insane amount for “common area” utilities, about 2X what I pay for my own apartment’s utilities, which are separate. my window was broken for over a month in the middle of winter before they even bothered to have someone come fix it. it takes forever for them to fix anything, if they even ever fix it. they’re constantly doing loud work. most recently, in the leasing office itself, also where a nice cigarette smoke smell is pouring out into the halls from during the day. this place is awful. please live anywhere else, for the sake of your own sanity.

I want to apologize that this has been your experience, and address your concerns. Wheelhouse took over management of the property in July 2021, and we began intensive property-wide repairs and upgrades, including pest control treatment. We have had our vendor out to treat every unit multiple times; currently the vendor is not reporting any activity. If you are experiencing pest activity please reach out so we can treat your apartment. It is imperative that residents notify us either by either entering a work order, (which can be entered on your resident web portal), by email or by phone. If you have outstanding work orders that have not been completed or begun I would also ask that you reach out either by either entering a work order, (which can be entered on your resident web portal), by email or by phone. We work with a laundry vendor to repair the machines, and have reached out to them to do a site-wide survey of the machines so we can clearly identify what is wrong with machines that are not working. Our intention is to begin replacing the machines and updating the payment method. We have hired a Property Porter who cleans the entire exterior of the property 3 times a week, including dog waste stations, the parking lot, around dumpsters, and in the open spaces between the buildings. If your vehicle was towed, it was due to tags being expired, or the vehicle being clearly out of service, as stated in the Lease Agreement. Since we do not charge for parking at this building, these are the only reasons a vehicle would have been towed. We do not have control over what a tow company charges for releasing an impounded vehicle. Common-area utilities are charges based on occupancy and square footage to each apartment. There was recently a bill-back to residents who have been at the building since October. We also understand that the bills are higher, as per the Colorado Utility Commission increased gas and Electric 13% in 2022. We do not charge any additional fees for utilities, only what is directly billed to the property from the utility companies. While we do have a leasing office on site, our office hours are limited. We would like to help you in this and ensure your concerns are addressed the correct way. The manager is usually in the office Wednesday mornings and would appreciate having a conversation with you. Sincerely, Shannon Johnson, Property Manager
Roaches, Bedbugs, No Pool, Washer & Dryer NEVER WORK!!, Worker’s are loud, thin walls, maintenance doesn’t respond when needed, new company.... they suck. DONT LIVE HERE!!! They turn off the water more than it is on.

This place is infested with roaches. Worst experience moving from out of town.
