Property Ratings at Willows of Wheaton
Lived for two years and had a great experience! Highly recommended to friends and family! Thank you
Huge apartments, in-unit W/D, very well insulated meaning very quiet. The staff is a dream to work with and the other residents are friendly but also keep to themselves making it such a great place to call home. Highly recommend.
Me and my family of five lived here for three years . We loved it the Apartment was spacious and having and in unit washer and dryer was very helpful especially with a little one. Who we brought home here . Maintenance was always nice and I don’t recall ever having to wait more than a day or two to have something fixed. Everyone in the office is very nice, helpful and understanding. My phone calls to the office have never gone unanswered witch always made this place feel more like home because they actually care about there resistance. With the location being right behind jewel during nice weather we would walk to the store . Especially if we where just getting a few things it saved a lot on gas. It also become something my kids really enjoyed doing. Al though the parking lot looks small we actually never had a problem with parking. The school district is amazing my middle child has adhd so this we very helpful and important to us. I highly recommend anyone to live here and I’m sure you’ll love it as much as me and my family did.
Key features include in unit full size washer/dryer, central air, updated appliances, walk-in closet and ample additional closet space, and friendly management. Service requests are promptly and courteously attended to. Great location: walking distance to a grocery store, downtown, and one of the town's premier parks.
Has all of the accommodations. The big ones for me: In unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, central air and heating, covered parking optional. Location in Wheaton is convenient, being next to Jewel and major roads/highways. It's really quiet here. Units have double double-paned windows and sliding glass doors (great insulation and noise cancellation). The staff here is very friendly and immediately helpful. Almost forgot -- Bathroom is huge!
I spent 3 wonderful years at Willows of Wheaton, and if it hadn't been for a work transfer to sunny Florida I absolutely would have stayed. Never once did I have a major problem with a neighbor, and the place was always quiet. It's most likely due to the heavy brick structure of the buildings, but I never heard my neighbor above me. I enjoyed a second story, one bedroom apartment and it suited all my needs. The two or three times I ever had a maintanence issue it was fixed/repaired promptly the next day. I once had water damage on my ceiling from my neighbor over flooding his bathtub, and maintanence fixed it all so well that you couldn't even tell anything ever happened. The office staff knows everyone on a first name basis and were constantly compassionate toward their tenants. I can't speak the praises of this place enough. The only issue I had was that the rent was a bit pricey even though they lacked so general ammenities. To make it easier, I've written a pros and cons list below. PROS: - Quiet neighbors and thick walls. - Within walking distance of shopping, gas, and food. - Super efficient maintenance team. - Low crime. - Close to good schools. - Very friendly and attentive office staff. - Washer/dryer in unit. - Fireplace. - Huge bathroom. - Snow is plowed promptly. - Easily accessible dumpsters. - Close to local nature preserves. - Very close to downtown Wheaton. - Big bedroom walk-in closet. - Ample parking day and night. - Rentable garages. - Gas grills allowed on balconies CONS: - No pool, fitness center, business center, or outdoor picnic areas. Rent is a bit pricey even without these ammenities. - Near wooded area, so sometimes the occasional bug can get in. - Outdated appliances (stove, microwave, and fridge). - Parking lot has lots of deep potholes near the back.
Great location, walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. The people who live here are friendly and I have not experienced any real issues so far. The pictures seem outdated as the apartments appear to have been recently updated with new stainless steel appliances and other minor upgrades. Very happy so far!
Clean very roomy Old appliances but if there is a problem the management sends maintenance to take care of it immediately. the floor plans are very well designed. very quiet apartments. no noise at all. love it.
