Property Ratings at Wilson Court Apartments
I've been here 3 years and yes cockroaches, toilet don't flush right, we heat with heaters, because our furnace hasn't worked in last 2 years, my car broke down 5 months ago , tire went flat, and while waiting to get money to fix my car, my tags expired and landlord had my car towed with no notice, just like that, and there is vehicles here that has been here since I moved in and has two flat tires and expired tags in 2018 and is still here... don't rent here if you can help it plus I have black spots on my walls
This place it’s infected with cockroaches and rat they never in the office they don’t want fix anything I have black mold I will not recommend anyone to live here
It is very bad, it does not include any types of maintenance, and it appears mold in the ceiling of my children's room when it rains. The rain comes inside and I have spoken to her many times, but no response. Just sends her father who does not speak English and does not understand it and then does not do anything
***DO NOT RENT HERE*** Units are leaky and have structural and biological hazards, ask any tennant about the mold in their unit. Trust me, they all have a horror story. We moved in 2 years ago under previous management and had little issues with them. The complex changed ownership a little over a year ago and has quickly turned into a despicable living situation. We have always paid early and been respectful tennants. The new lease is unreasonable and I sincerely question the legality of the clauses but we resigned because we were in no financial shape to move. Office staff have entered on multiple occasions without notice, including once while we were home around Christmas. As I opened the door the office manager had her key in my deadbolt. Upon moving out we provided more than ample notice however management was in the apartment painting, 'cleaning', and unnecessarily running heat while electric was still in our name prior to the end of our notice and turning in keys. Additionally, management removed items from the unit prior to the end of our notice. The painting and cleaning charges in their post move out statement are highly inflated from what we were initially advised and I do not believe they are the actual costs incurred by the management company.
Under new ownership and it looks as though, the rent has gone up from $545 this time last year to $675. The apartments are old, the floors are creaky, the new management refuses to give 24 hr notice before entering your unit for maintenance. The walls and floors are thin so depending on your unit you may be able to hear your neighbors at all hours and get stuck under someone who sounds as though they are training tap dancing clydesdale horses to vacuum at any and all hours of the night. Part of this place's charm was that it was quiet and cheap, now it's neither.
Yes it is older but for the price and location used to be a bargain; however, it is under new ownership and they are jacking up the rent a LOT... not worth the new price compared to other places around same price but newer.
Old apartments that cost an arm and a leg on heating in the winter.
