Cedar Hill is a small city situated along Joe Pool Lake about 17 miles southwest of Dallas and 30 miles southeast of Fort Worth. Proximity to the sprawling cities in the north means that development is coming fast to Cedar Hill, with a number of incredible upscale apartment communities springing up along U.S. Highway 67. Cedar Hill’s location is perfect to beat the Texas heat. With the lake forming its western border, you can find families and visitors gathered along the shores and at one of the state parks along the water almost any time of year. Property Ratings at Wilson Crossing
I have been a resident of Wilson Crossing for nearly 4 years now. Some of the things I like about the property is: Safety, Quick response to maintenance reports, The activities for the residents, The manager (Monica)consistent communications of things going on @ the property, (especially the winter storm Texas had), and the Covered Parking. The neighbors are fairly friendly and the property is well maintained. You are close to Interstates 67, 20, & 45. On Beltline is all the major stores for shopping. The Post Office and Police Department are 10 minutes away. Look No Further Wilson Crossing is the better choice.

This property used to be great. The management staff are very nice but the property is becoming famous for its prevalence of weed. Ppl smoke casualty and often. It's even inside the apartment units. Do not move here if you do not want to be consumed by marijuana smoke, smell, and activity.
I saw this property online and decided to stop by to check it out. The staff was so helpful Monica the property manager was very friendly and provided all the information I needed. My lease will be up soon and I hope they have vacancies when I'm ready.
Been a resident here for about 6yrs. The up ntill recently excellent. The most recent staff, mainly one young african american lady, is very condescending. I am also here waiting on them. The sign says will return at 2:00. Ive been here 33 minutes and no one here yet. Do they not care?

I was looking for a quite affordable apartment community in the Cedar Hill/Desoto area. I had visited a few other apartment complexes and the customer service that I experienced at Wilson Crossing was like none other. Jessica was soooo helpful and patient as i tried to decide if i wanted to lease an apartment there and which floor plan that i wanted. Jessica showed me the town home i really liked it just wasnt sure if i wanted a townhome floor plan so i considered the 2/1. I called Jessica to see if i could view one and she stated that she didnt have one to show me in person but that she would email me pictures of one. Within 30 minutes, As promised Jessica emailed me photos of the apartment. Michelle was also nice. In the end the ONLY reason that I did not move into the apartments because I really need a 3 bedroom and unfortunately Wilson Crossing only has 1 and 2 bedrooms. But through that experience, I have a higher expectation of the customer service from Apartment Leasing Agents. Jessica and Michelle have really raised the bar. I highly recommend Wilson Crossing!
First of all, LumaCorp has changed their payment policy three times in three months and the front office told no one until it was time to pay rent. now they only accept checks. No credit cards, nothing online, no money orders. Only checks. And they don't cash them for a week. Good luck. Jessica, the girl who works the front desk, only got the job because her sister is one of the managers. How do I know this? She loses paperwork all the time. She promised our parking space to another renter, was a ditz and never inputted it into the system, gave it to us, and then the renter called to get my car towed. My roommate and I called Jessica and she insinuated I was lying when I had a picture of the sticker on my car window that says it would be towed for being in an owned parking space! She said they don't give out those stickers and they don't tow cars. But there's signs up everywhere that say you will be towed if you park in a covered spot that doesn't belong to you! The sticker came from their security guard! I've had to fill out paperwork over and over because she keeps losing it, I was nearly accused of hiding my pets from management to not pay a pent rental fee, despite the fact that every single staffer there has seen our cats, talked to us about them, discussed pet fees with us. Jessica never put them on our lease when she drew up the contract, so when they were audited, they remembered we have pets and told us we had to pay the pet deposit, and the head lady really thought I was hiding them from management. I could be evicted for that! We were promised new appliances when we moved in, but that never happened. We moved in to an apartment with broken stairs, the smell of weed, broken AC, a broken front door (took a month to get that replaced), and a stove that was never cleaned. That stove started to smell last month but we couldn't figure out where the rotting smell was coming from until we smelled the stove. We put in a maintenance request and when the guy came, he lifted up the top pointed at it, said there's no smell and it's not that dirty, i could go and buy Easy off and clean it myself, then replaced a few burnt out lights and left. I cleaned that stove after he left and there was years of old grease just rotting in the grease trap that was never cleaned when we moved in. It was disgusting and the source of our near constant bug problem we've had since moving in.
I have been here for 4 months in Wilson Crossing. It is quite, private, and nice. You, do have people walking, around knocking on door selling thing. You have assigned, parking space. It's just a nice, placeto llive. You can, not heard your neighborhoods, when you are home. The kids are not able to play, around apartment. They have to go to the park next, to the apartment. That is so great!!!:-) The people who, work in the office are nice, and helpful. If you have a , repair for Mantience ,they will fix ASAP. If you have a problem, management will take care of it fast. There are no , people hanging out in parking lot at night. You can come home at night , and you are very safe walking to your apartment. If you're looking for a nice apartment, pick Wilson Crossing. You will not be disappointed
