Willow Oaks is known as one of Hampton’s best neighborhoods to live in and it’s not hard to see why. This neighborhood is family-friendly with great schools and boasts an incredible central location. Willow Oaks is about four miles north of Downtown Hampton and Hampton University. Several beaches like Buckroe Beach and Park are about five miles away. Willow Oaks is wooded and rests between the Southwest Branch Back River and the Hampton River, giving residents access to several parks and the river. Locals flock to Gosnold's Hope Park for kayaking and boating. Willow Oaks is mainly residential, but there are several restaurants, grocers, and stores scattered throughout the area. The neighborhood has affordable to upscale houses, apartments, and townhomes available for rent.

Property Ratings at Wilsondale Apartments
Please please please run from this place! They have wasted so much of our time. We have been speaking to Annalise and Melissa for WEEKS going on MONTHS. Getting information and forming what we thought was a good relationship. We were verbally approved for 2 cats and 2 snakes in the unit by not 1 rep, but 2. So we schedule a time to look at the unit, we loved it. We originally were told to apply in august. After looking at the apartment, we were told there was only 1 person ahead of us on the waitlist and we should go ahead and apply. So we apply. All of us pay $40 each. Then we hear NOTHING. I call to check on application status and I am told that there are 10 people ahead of me on the waitlist, and that they can no longer accept 2 cats and 2 snakes. Waste of time. I will be reporting them. Please save your time and money!

I am unsure of what’s going on there but I’ve tried calling multiple times and left messages and no one has gotten back with me or answered the phone at all makes me think this place is not very responsive. The heart of every apartment complex is their leasing staff!

I must first say the leasing consultant Mirakle has been a pleasure to work with. She truly listened to our needs as far as what we were looking for in an apartment home. She was courteous and truly worked with us. Anyone looking for an apartment please check out Wilsondale and ask for Mirakle she will guide you through the entire process.

I am more than disappointed and dont know quite where to begin. The office staff gives me pause.....while cultivating friendly encounters, they are inefficient, and make no apologies for it. They are slothful and unprofessional. Rarley do they return a phone call and at no time do they make you feel as though you are of any improtance as a resident. Their inability to be consistant with their book keeping cost hundreds and again they are never available to answer any questions until they have added additional fees. While the actual residence is nice it is not worth the lack luster service of the staff!!!!!
I gave a rating of good because, there could always be improvements, but that is with any place. The amenities are great, nice pool and exercise facility, and park for the kids. Very nice community room. The open floor plan in the apartment is great I love it. I also love how big the bathrooms are. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, I would say we do need to hire a few more maintenance workers, we have a lot of buildings. But as for me and my neighbors we all look out for each other. Oh and the front office holds a lot of fun events for us as a community. Which is awesome. :)
this apartment complex is by far the worst! They care about nothing but money and do not care about the residents needs. They chage 75 dollars for a key that cost them practically nothing. FORGET ABOUT NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR, our key fob fell apart and there was no scrates or dents on the fob, the silver peice just fell off! The manager is absoultly rude. forget them working with you to make sure you get payments in. THEY DO NOT CARE. The apartment grounds are constantly covered in trash because the other residents just throw the trash bags in the dumbsters that get too full. There is no where near enough parking. OHH and even if you complain about about noisy neighbors, forget it they tell you there is nothing they can do about it. even if you complain and complain they basically laugh in your face and tell you to get over it. also when it says "Gate comunity" HAAA!!! i've lived there for 6 months the rear gate has maybe worked for a week out of the entier 6 months.# your paying for the maintance for that gate, that they never fix..# They do not work with military member either. inorder to get out of your lease for them with military orders it has to be 50 miles. all other places are 20-30 miles. OH YEAH, in their pet policy it states there are bread restrictions... LIARS they let some people slide, i guess its like highschool and you gotta be in with the cool people to get special treatment. when we moved in they told us that the section 8 was on the completly other side of the apartment complex. They failed to tell us that infact all of the apartment complex is section 8 except for the 300 buildings. So have fun with that.
I love everything about this apartment community. Everything is upgraded and gorgeous! The location is amazing as well!
