Property Ratings at Winchester Village Apartments
Roaches since November!!! Good luck to anyone who encounters this problem.
Management will lie and say they don’t have them. Some ppl have them some ppl don’t. Honestly I think they’re everywhere. Check your apartment thoroughly before signing lease. They will not let you out of the lease if you notice after the fact. No rental office on site. No gym. No pool. Bad kids everywhere. Management is nice when you finally get ahold of them, but it’s really nothing they can do. Very nice on the inside but property is handled poorly. Rent should be cheaper.
Don’t move here... you’ll most certainly regret it. Bad management, wild kids, and Roaches.
Took 6 months to receive approval. I submit my 60-day notice to my current place. Received an email from Ethan a week before the move-in date of pest (cockroach) issues and had to reschedule. My current place had pre-leased my place so I was unable to change the move-out date. Never heard from Ethan and Heather from corporate never returned my calls. Horrible experience from start to finish.
The office staff is hardly there first of all, and when they are there they are extremely unorganized and NEVER answer the phone. For the first 6 months we lived here we did not receive a single water bill, then randomly one day a piece of paper with handwritten scribbling saying we owe a random amount of money for water was stuck in our door with no explanation or break down by month. They also expect you to scrub every nook and cranny of the apartment before you leave, including paying to have your carpets professionally cleaned, and they take a list of everything that is not spotless when u leave and charge you for it. Inside, the apartment is very spacious with lots of storage space and an awesome kitchen. We have had our door tried to be kicked down after my husband left for work & our neighbors are VERY loud and play music and run around at all times in the night. They just do anything they can to get your money with no sort of reasonable explanation or organization. They also tried to increase rent by $100 after our lease was up, and said we still needed a 60 day notice before we left even if it was on the date that our lease was up, yet they informed us of this about 20 days before our lease ended (makes total sense right?)I would recommend for the apartment but NOT AT ALL for anything else.
